Best Manager we ever had in EBL.

We visited Mirpur Darus Salam Road Branch on 16th March around 3:30 PM.
The branch was closed for Ramadan hours but the branch manager saw us from his office and let us in. While sitting his room, he did everything in 5/7 minutes and made us one of his happiest clients.
Manager Rakib A Majumder was one of the best professional managers in our life. We found him very helpful and customer focused like we see in USA. He also invited us to visit his branch after Eid to issue us a travel friendly credit card.
We are really impressed with his service and personality, I will recommend all my friends and families to go and do banking with this young man.

Poor Customer Service and Lack of Follow-up

Had a disappointing experience with Eastern Bank Ltd. The customer service agents seem poorly trained — every time I raise a complaint, they note it down but never follow up or provide any update. It feels like the complaints are taken just for formality, with no real resolution. EBL really needs to improve their service quality and train their staff better to handle customer issues responsibly.

Harrasment and bed service provide

i live in UK and work as a reputed company marketing manager. i am probhasi person. i opened an account and deposited money it's been one month ebl harassing me with my account I emailed and called several times they can't add my mobile number even I told them I received an SMS OTP and account details. but they harassed me with my mobile number and told me to email this and call this and what kind of service you guys provide.

Their new EBL app is awesome

Their new EBL app is awesome, powerful, and super fast. I love it!! One thing I noticed is that they don't have the option for encashment from FD. With the app, we can use FD, but we can't do encashment like we can with Brac Bank Astha App. So, I would definitely suggest they add this feature in the future.

The quality of customer service is substandard.

The quality of service provided by the customer support team is terrible. Whether through email or over the phone, the staff demonstrates a high degree of incompetence and inadequacy. The disappointment is not only limited to the failure to address my concerns but also to the team's apparent lack of basic knowledge and skills required to perform their duties effectively. It is essential for an organization to have a competent customer support team that can provide prompt and efficient service to customers. The current state of the customer support team falls short of the expected standards and requires immediate attention to improve the quality of service and customer satisfaction.
