Yet another product to boycott!!!! So disappointing that this bar has decreased in size, one of the main reasons I bought it was because it was filling and you actually felt you had eaten something!! Won’t buy again along with all the other products that are ripping consumers off!!!!!
Poor decision
I get the reducing in size to keep profits and reduce costs but what has happened to the taste and texture?
These were our go to bar for a quick simple snack that ticked the boxes, not the cheapest but worth it for the taste and quality.
I’m not sure who’s made the decision but they have ruined the brand and now are no different to the cheapest/nasty bars that are half the price. Poor decision on the new bars they have lost the market that Natural bars once had.
Gone from 4 multi packs per week at home to none! Sorry just can’t stand the new tacky bars.

Long term gluten free and dairy free…
Long term gluten free and dairy free eater! Used to eat loads of these but I now find they make me feel sick! And they are really not as nice much smaller no flavour, used to be chunky peanuts and chocolate bits! Yuck to the new ones I’m not eating them anymore used to have 3 boxes a week! Bad move
What has happened to these bars??
What has happened to these bars??
The Protein peanut and chocolate one used to have a decent amount of protein and taste good.
Now less protein and a sickly artificial taste, smaller but more calories....and more expensive.
Not worth the money.
Shocking shrinkage
Shocking shrinkage
3 bars packaged in a box made for 4. So shocked by the blatant shrinkage and deception that haven't eaten any of the bars
Shameless shrinkflation
As many others here have noted, the bars have shrunk considerably in recent months, to the point where they're now so small that they represent really poor value for money. I've been buying the bars for years but this is it for me now.
CHEATERS.
CHEATERS, THEY SAY PECAN NUTS IS THE MAIN PRODUCT @ 12%, BUT THE PEANUTS ARE 47%, WOW, THATS 35% MORE, IS THAT A CHEAT OR WHAT. & WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY COULDN'T CARELESS, THEY JUST SAID WILL PASSED ON . . .
NB: I'M THINKING, I SHOULD REPORT THEM TO THE OFFICE OF FAIR TRADE...
Last time for me 20% reduction in size…
Last time for me 20% reduction in size and still the very expensive price. Bad news.....
Bars have shrunk by 20% from 50g to 40g.
Bars have shrunk by 20% from 50g to 40g. Still expensive and nothing but greed!
Used to be my favourite cereal bar but…
Used to be my favourite cereal bar but now seeing it’s been reduced by 10g is disgusting- but just so happens packaging is the same size you can’t tell. Us consumers aren’t stupid so stop treating us like we are. Will make my own from now on.
No almonds in the New Almond and Apricot bar
Please could you put some almonds back into the almond and apricot bars? I just had a bar with not one almond in it! Surely that is mis-selling. Ingredient ratios used to allow a few almonds per bar however they are made. Now you get one or none! Also, pls change the dietary information on the back because it is now sweeter than the original and is a squishy sugary mess. Is popped rice cereal too expensive to put in a decent amount for 80p per bar? Now using mainly dessicated coconut that is like sawdust compared to the original coconut shavings. I won't complain about the shrunken new size here but please don't insult your customers with this inferior product. I rushed out to buy them on offer thinking it's just a change of size and packaging. Waste of money! I found a few of old version and this new rubbish does not compare at all. Thank you
No longer on my shopping list
As with so many others I have bought these bars for years as they were a cut above. Yesterday I ate my last one. Diminishing size, increasing price and key ingredients reduced to a minimum. Also why is Eat Natural the only firm to have problems sourcing Brazil Nuts!!
Taking its customers for a ride.
Who stole my 5g?
I didnt see on your box any marketing speak to really advertise the changes you've just made. So I thought I would help, here goes:
NOW EVEN SMALLER!
THE SAME GREAT TASTE, THE SAME PRICE BUT UP TO 20% SMALLER BARS. SO THE SAME TASTE BUT EVEN LESS VALUE! YOUR POCKETS AND STOMACHS MAY BE LESS FULL BUT THINK OF THE WHOLESOME GOODNESS TO OUR PROFITS.
You're welcome.
Shrinkflation
Used to like these apricot bars as a proper snack but with recent shrinkflation I won't be buying again - no longer satiating enough and taste seems to have worsened as well - got dryer. A shame as these used to be my go to. Happy to pay more for a good quality product!
Last time I ever buy these.
Last time I ever buy these.
Shrank by 5g (11%), and has tasted progressively worse. Bye bye!
Once the best snack bar on the market, now just another example of corporate greed.
Shrinkflation
I don't normally review brands but like everyone else I've just noticed the shrinkflation (same price but less product)! I just got a bar out of the drawer and firstly thought it tasted much blander than usual and secondly then realised it were much smaller too. I looked online (as some sites are still showing the old packaging) and it confirms they've gone from 45 to 40. It also shows they've changed the ingredients! Peanuts have increased but dark chocolate decreased by -3% and they're no longer adding shredded coconut nor are they calling out their percentage of honey which makes me think they've also reduced it dramatically. Such a shame as this was always my go to snack I'm really not a fan of the new taste and size so will have to find an alternative. I wouldn't normally review so low but disappointed they did this and didn't mention the change in ingredients on the packaging. I wouldn't have minded too if the price had gone down at the same time as the size reduction but to keep the price the same and also change ingredients doesn't make sense.
Shrinkflation.....probably one their…
Shrinkflation.....probably one their worst marketing decisions ever. I have been a long term consumer, probably get through 4 boxes every week. Now the latest bar is just a child's portion and not sufficient in size for a snack. Total rip off. They will be using this as a case study in business schools in the future on how companies undermine their own brands, lose hard won loyalty and self destruct.
Shrinkflation and Skimpflation
Just like the many other reviewers Eat Natural has been my daily health snack! A dark chocolate with cranberries and macadamias is rarely missing from my bag! You can say I binged on it! Yesterday I ran out of stock so went to buy ten boxes@ £2.40 each! I was wondering why the viewing window at the front of the box was not present with the new packaging. I hadn't engaged with the 3x40g which was written at the top. I got the shock of my life when I opened a pack this morning! I reached for the old packaging from my recycle bag to check my eyes were not deceiving me! A 45g bar downsized to 40g for the same price??? That's 80p for one of those bars! And the taste...awful! Nothing like the previous taste! Tastes dry! You can count the number of cranberries using the fingers on one hand and macadamias .... forget about finding any! I can't be bothered to drive to Tesco to return the boxes - I would rather save my petrol - and I definitely will not be bothered to buy anymore Eat Natural bars from now on!
Not Worth a Carrot!!
I have been eating these bars for a healthy breakfast for years and I am disgusted that they are the latest victim of shrinkflation. Now they are not worth having. It is better for me to go to a health food shop and buy a full sized bar of something at a higher price. By the look of the complaints here the only shrinkflation that will take place is in the firm's turnover!
If this carries on we will all need to go shopping with a magnifying glass!!
