Is there a minus star?
Is there a minus star? EasyLife took £39.99 frim my elderly mother's account, without her knowledge. If her bank had not contacted her, she would never have known. After a lengthy phone queue in EasyLife's system, she was promised a cancellation and full refund. Whole exercise- she could have well done without!
Easy life have just emptied my account and I've never even bought anything from them
I've just had over £200 emptied out of my bank account and I've never even bought anything from them ,I'm livid why are they not in jail ,they've fraudulently taken all my money
I will Never deal with this company…
I will Never deal with this company again. Having ordered some items, not up to standard but put up with it, we have literally been bombarded with phone calls from people trying to sign us up to their reward scheme. Each time the person has been quite polite and I have also patiently told them I am not interested and asked them to delete my details and not call again. Now for the fifteenth time yet another call. This is a gross intrusion and I am now going to take action through trading standards. It seems from other comments I am not alone. Avoid Easylife.
Morally bankrupt criminals
Massive scam - elderly mother-in-law ordered something from their ad in the Daily Mail or through the door. They signed her up to a “magazine club” for £18.50 monthly. Then they signed her up to “gardening club” for £39 a month. When queried, immediately refunded. Morally bankrupt fraudsters.
Trading Standards
Don’t you DARE tell me you need my elderly father’s permission to talk to me about his account!! You SCAMMED him and it was ME that realised you’d done it!! You REALLY think for ONE minute I would let you talk to my father again?? I really don’t know how you sleep at night! This is a final warning-you DARE reply to me and I will contact Trading Standards and tell them how you operate!! This is an end to it or I WILL take it further-not just for me and my father but for EVERYONE ELSE you have stolen from!! Because that’s what you do…STEAL!!!
rip off
Only have one star as not possible to give less . Said I could have a book after I had received my order price was £74 obviously said no they still said they had sent it .when I complained they said it was on a 30 day trial. I would not have to pay any money unless I decide to keep the book. After 3 days they took the £74 from my account and two weeks later the book has still not even arrived and on sign of refund !!! Please stay clear of this company !!!!!
This company need taking to trading…
This company need taking to trading standards, I ordered an item and it didn’t work, a week later they illegally took £77 out of my account without my permission. I told them to refund it they said it was some sort of saving scheme, I had not asked for this they did eventually return it to my bank. And refunded my broken item. Now 2 weeks later they have stolen another £24 for nothing I asked them to take my bank account details off their books and stop any accounts I had with them. It’s bullying old age pensions. Theft and their should be a law against companies like this so they cannot just use card details to rob customers. I never let companies save any of my account details. This must be sorted out. The only thing I can do is cancel my debit account card and start a new account with another bank.
Not such an easylife with this "company"
My mum bought something from easylife last summer but then it never arrived, despite being told it was "out of stock" anytime she called to find out what was happening to the item. Ended up cancelling said items and money refunded back to her. In addition, told them she no longer wanted to have anything to do with the company to remove her name and details from their system. Come to find out today that £76 is in the process of being deducted from her account - which sounds like a subscription payment - that she never signed up for. So, not only are they complete scammers, but they've also broken section 47 of GDPR law by not removing her details from their systems which she requested.
I get the impression that they think they can get away with this, as it's predominately pensioners/vulnerable people they seem to target in the hopes that no one notices. I'll be phoning them tomorrow on her behalf to have the money refunded back to her account, along with an earful of colourful language.
P.s for anyone who may not know this, from what I've read so far, contact your bank to have all future payments blocked by this company. It's the next thing I intend to do after speaking with the company.
Stop this company
Stop this company. I purchased a foot stool for my residents over two years ago, and today I had £69.50 taken out of my bank. I have phoned and requested a refund. This is stealing from vulnerable people and these scams need to be stopped ASAP. If I don’t get a refund I will take it further.
Easy life disgraceful preying on pensioners
This company have stolen approx £150 pounds from my 87 year old mother.
She purchased something from a catalogue a couple of years ago with a different company name.
They charged her for “Well Being Club”
And reward book club.
She did not agree to paying for either of these and had never heard of the well being club.
I have spoken to a few Easy Life Employees and have had most of the money refunded but they have not provided any proof of why this money was fraudulently taken from her credit card account .
It beggars belief how much evidence there is online about the illegal practices of Easy Life but nothing is done .
Reward card scam
Same as everyone e else on this review site. £70 taken from my account. Bank fraud team rang me and advised I change my bank card which is a real inconvenience but bank insisted this is the only way to stop easylife stealing money from my account. I did not ask for, request or agree to there reward card scam. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
This is a horrendous company every…
This is a horrendous company every review I have read on this site corresponds to what they tried to do to me for 2 years ago I contacted my bank I stop the Visa account updates and ask the bank for new cards the bank was not helpful it is almost as if they are in league with fraudulent companies the Visa account updater allows companies to access any new cards you get when your old one runs out without your permission, Banks automatically employ Visa account updater and make it very difficult for you as the customer to get this taken off your account, I had written communication with my bank over five letters before they agreed to stop Visa account updater on my cards. Remember you are in charge of your money not the banks fight for what you want
Do not deal with this company
Do not deal with this company, made a purchase from Easylife and they passed my details on, address & card details. Had a phone call from the Rewards Club offering a shopping voucher for the delay in receiving my parcel, when I said I hadn't had a delay he said it was a thank you from Easylife for staying with them through covid. Some days later had a text from my bank asking if it was me trying to make a payment to Easylife. Texted back no, payment was stopped. 2 days later had 2 letters from the Reward Club saying I had to opt out if I didn't want to join, which I did straight away. Was unable to use my card online and checking my account it showed 2 payments going out to Easylife, my bank had stopped a 3rd payment thankfully. Just been refunded the £160 they stole from my account for memberships I had received no paperwork for, not the ones I had stopped. If the clubs were any good they would let you join by choice not make you opt out. This has caused alot of stress & time wasted on calls sorting it out. Check your bank statement, I last purchased from them a year ago on my card but they still had the details.
My 93yr old Mother had 2x £70
My 93yr old Mother had 2x £70, 2 x £10 and £17.99 stopped from her bank account in Jan 22. She had spoken to them in Dec 21 and they were going to send her a pack and if not happy she could cancel. The pack never arrived so she had nothing to cancel. We rang the bank and blocked her card details and I rang the company, after a discussion whereby I said I would be going to the ombudsman f they didn't cancel it and they refunded all the money. She has now had a letter from Premier offers direct saying they spoke with her last month and if she didn't cancel in 14 days her account would be debited with £17.99 She hasn't spoken to anyone, so they lied about that and they wouldn't take an email from myself on her behalf to cancel it, so we are ringing them today. The address is in the same road as Easy Life so we can only assume that her bank details have been given to Premier Offers by Easy Life, which I would think illegal? Easy Life had her details when she ordered face masks in 2020 so kept them to use at a later date, also illegal. Please be warned and make your elderly relatives aware of this company and its terrible working practice.

Just found £150 has been taken from my account by easy life. Rewards club apparently that i did not agree to. Received a letter this morning but the free trial date end was the day they took the money 20th march. Absolutely furious. Had to open dispute with the bank but will be ringing them tomorrow.
How can they be allowed to continue with their scams?
I endorse the experiences of others: a purchase or two from EasyLife leading to repeated phone calls trying to sell a subsciption to 'The Reward Club' - all declined forcefully - followed by an attempt to charge £69.60 to my Visa card. I now see the the scam has been reported on the Internet for years. There are data protection issues as well as consumer protection issues. EasyLIfe sends customer data to 'The Reward Club' and charges customers' cards on their behalf. They should both be driven out of business, if consumer protection and data protection mean anything at all.
Elderly Father scammed out of money
My father regularly buys from Easylife & is pleased with their products. THIS IS NOW RUINED. he is 78 and has had money taken out of his bank account through a phone call he received & didn't understand getting him to agree to a rewards scheme. I have now got to try to sort this out & stop any more moneyu going out of his account. SHAME ON YOU EASYLIFE - YOU ARE RUINING YOUR NAME with these phone calls!!!! PLEASE LISTEN
Totally corrupt company
Totally corrupt company. Take money fraudulently out of your account.
A dreadful company
A dreadful company. Continue to take money from the vulnerable and elderly without any consent. Unscrupulous, uncaring fraudsters.
appalling experience with this company
appalling experience with this company. Their tactics are to say the least disengenuous. In no way did i agree to pay for a 'reward package' upfront without seeing anything in writing. I only agreed to that because i was assurred no money would be taken and it would end the call.
Checked my bank statement today and find two payments, totalling £71.49p taken from my bank account without my permission.
I might add with no suprise, no email or written documentation received by them either. I will never buy from them again, i dont like their underhanded tactics and would advise others to do the same.!
