Unauthorised payments taken
Elderly relatives bought an item from this company in Sept. They subsequently realised that £18.50 pr month had been taken from their bank account. They allege they claimed up to a Rewards scheme that they did not. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Sign the petition someone has set up at Change.org - stop Easy Life scamming
Perx magazine
I received a copy of perx magazine although I specifically said I was not interested. The despatch date said 11/3/23, I did not receive it until 12/4/23, six days after the cancellation date for membership had expired.I have informed Easylife and hope I do not get charged
Scammers. Avoid at all costs
My father in law spotted 4 payments charged to his credit card for dubious subscriptions as follows:
£19.99 for The Perx Lifestyle magazine
£76.99 for The Garden Club
£69.50 for My Top Rewards
£18.50 for The Perx Lifestyle magazine
He never signed up to any of these. I am going to report this company to the authorities.
Does Easylife Cooking Academy even exist?
My mother noticed payments had been taken from her account by this company. She went to her bank and they have refunded her. I contacted Easylife to try and find out what these payments were for. They claim she signed up for a Cooking Academy. Her cooking extends to soup and ready meals. She never entertains. At her age her serious cooking days are long past. Can find no evidence of her ever receiving anything for this so called subscription.
Scammers
Avoid this company at all costs, they prey on vulnerable elderly people. My mum placed an order with them only to find out through her bank flagging up fraudulent activity that they had signed her up for a subscription and tried to take another £18.15 from her account. Fortunately the bank were on the ball and blocked the payments before it went through, reading the below comments others were not so lucky.
They also push for you to buy other items from their catalogue when phoning your order in
This company should hang their heads in shame and should be looked in to for scamming people.
SCUM OF THE EARTH
SCUM OF THE EARTH. Taking money from elderly vulnerable people who have no idea they have been signed up to a subscription. Stole £800 in 12 months from my 97 year old mother who has Dementia.
How do people work for this company knowing that they are scamming old people and robbing them of their money? Clearly they have no shame or moral standards. Wonder how they would feel if it was their loved ones? It's hot where your going once your times up on this earth. Wish I could watch!
Scammers, praying on the old and vulnerable, avoid!
My elderly father who has Parkinson's disease has just been scammed by these people. He noticed a sum of £18.50 taken once in February and then again in March 2023 (the same amount each time). He did apparently by a pair of shoes from this company. But on querying the multiple payments he's been told he has signed up to a 'memebership club' and a 'magazine subscription' neither of which he agreed to. Utter scam, please keep clear of this company who are fleecing the old and vulnerable and signing them up to subscriptions that don't exist.

They have taken 76.98 and 18.50 out on her card without permission.
Rang them and I think it happens all the time.
Do not use this company
Outrageous
Outrageous. My 103 yr old mother has just discovered a deduction of £70 for something she has not consciously asked for or wanted, having bought one item some months ago.
Scammers praying on the old and vunerable
Certainly a scam company praying on the old and vulnerable. I don’t know how my Aunt became involved with Easylife Kent but when I took over her bank account I noticed that Easylife had taken card payments of £18.50 a month for the last 8 months. On calling the company I was told that it was for their magazine. My Aunt couldn’t remember receiving anything and I don’t recollect seeing any magazines in her home.

Premier Offers/Easylife a scam company staffed by scum.
Whatever you do don` t get, involved with this absolutely awful company. I was recently contacted by Premier Offers who told me I had been selected for a discount card usable with several reputable companies eg Amazon. The person reeled off several company names, but most importantly advised me that if I didn`t cancel within 28 days I would be enrolled in this scheme at a cost of £81,which would be debited from a card I used to pay an associated company Easylife, another scammer I had the misfortune to deal with a few years ago. this in itself is illegal as they have no authority to save my card details. To avoid this payment being processed I have today reported this card to my Bank as having been compromised, and it has been blocked and a new one issued. If you need to do this to avoid any payment don`t just ask for a replacement card as if it is not blocked by your Bank they will just transfer any request from the scammer to your new card. I am amazed that these companies are still allowed to operate considering the hundreds of complaints seen on these review sites.

Disgusting company. They target the elderly/vunerable.My Mother ordered 1 item in 2021 she was happy with that. But then in 2022 she had a parcel of books arrive and saw on her bank statement they had charged her for these which she had never ordered! Upon ringing them they said she had spoken to them and agreed to have these, now my Mother is an avid reader but they were certainly not her type of books! It took a while to get her money back,we thought this would be the end of it as i requested that they remove all her details which they agreed to.Then another payment a few months later was taken out for a car recovery service which they said she had signed up for on the phone but there was never a call yet again they had lied (my Mother was at my house that day ) as she has a motability car there would be no need for this.Again we had trouble getting the money back so in the end her bank stepped in and issued a refund.I spoke to them again and they reassured me her details would be removed.Luckily her bank spotted another payment last week and blocked it,so my Mother has had to change her bank card.Easylife have said she had spoken to them on 5th Jan 23 and agreed to a shopping voucher scheme they run so tried to take £78.08.Reported this company to trading standards and have signed the petition just now. They need to be shut down!

I just received an order I placed with easylifellc. It doesn't work as described. I have been trying to figure out how to contact them to arrange for a return but my emails to them come back as undeliverable. There is no phone number to be found.
Easylife - appalling company! Stay clear!
Easylife are scammers and have left me out of pocket £152.
I have been trying for weeks to get my money back and all they say is I will not be refunded until they receive the item back.
It is all arranged through their couriers which have failed to turn up 7 times so far! 7 times a collection has been scheduled and each time no one has turned up! They still will not give me my money back and its been weeks! They are money grabbing scammers and do not care about the customer!
They send you false holding emails telling you how sorry they are and to call them but they do not help you! This is still not resolved!
I don`t believe they are arranging a courier as naturally they don`t want to lose money and give me money back!
Appalling company! shocking, should not be trading!

Had phone call about 10 days ago saying I would receive £50 grocery voucher from there premier offers club with a free trail period to join pet club, puzzle book club and groceries club at £70 a year each which I told woman on phone at time I wasn't really interested in,I still have not received voucher yet but on phoning today was told that all 3 memberships were still on there computer,so asked to cancel all of them, this is 2nd time had no vouchers from them, also two phone numbers given to cancel membership of this Clun seem non existant 0345 numbers as line goes dead immediately no matter if you push 1,2 or3.
They sell your information to scammers.
They sold my grandmother's personal information to scammers. Her parcel was to be delivered by Evri Two days after her order, she received a text saying that something had gone wrong with her Evri delivery and pointed her to a website to fix it. The site then asked for bank details.
My grandma called easylife up and they confirmed the parcel hadn't even been shipped yet.
So, easylife sold her personal data to scammers because how else would they know all of this information? It's too coincidental.

Have just found out that my Dad has had £170 debited from his credit card for a ‘subscription’ that he never agreed to. Seems to be a reoccurring complaint on Trustpilot and they are obviously targeting older people. I’ve spoken to them and they say they are refunding him but rest assured I shall be taking it further if they don’t!
A despicable company
A despicable company. £59.90 taken from my account on 3 occasions. They had signed me up for Happy Motor, part of their Rewards Club - something I had not agreed to. My advice would be to immediately put a review on Trust Pilot for Easylife and constantly update it, so that we can try to protect other vulnerable people. Cannot believe they have a 4 star rating on Trust Pilot, that is impossible, I smell a rat, they must employ other people to post ‘good’ reviews. I have reported to Trading Standards and Fraud squad.
