Booking confirmed and charged. They send email (i did not see it before the morning an hour before tour start) that they will not do tour. No call or text message on phone or effort to arrange alternative, just an email that i can probably get refund if i spend a bunch of time filling out claim form. I think works service i have ever tried.

We had a fabulous trip to Bran/Peles Castle and lovely Brasov. We were so lucky, in that we were booked to go on Tuesday 4th March, but the Uber I had booked didn't show up and so we missed the trip.

Eastern European Experience called me when they realised I wasn't at the meeting point and I explained to them what had happened. I asked them if it would be possible to go the following day, Wednesday 5th, instead. They were kind enough to fit us in then at no extra charge, as there were a couple of spare seats on the bus.

The tour guide was excellent, as was the journey...and we had a fantastic day out. Our 4 day break to Romania would have been ruined without being able to go on the tour we'd booked.

I was disgusted with Uber for literally leaving us waiting in the street while our coach departed, but honestly can't thank the folks at Eastern European Experience enough for re-arranging our tour and making our little holiday a great success.

Travelled all the way from the UK to Bucharest for a couple of nights to do the Peles/ Bran Castle tour. We waited at the pick up point for an hour and were constantly trying to call the emergency line to no avail. An hour later we weretold by another family that they’d cancelled the tour. Other coaches from the same company came and went but our names weren’t on the list so they wouldn’t let us on, despite showing our tickets. The following day one of the castles was closed. Completely ruined our trip which cost a lot to get to. Awaiting a refund for the trip but don’t expect to get a refund for our airfare.
