Thank you for your recent review. We are sorry that your experience wasn't a positive one. That said, ordinarily we would expect to see some context to your complaint, but you have chosen not to provide this.
The work request was to carry out electrical inspection on your properties which we duly did. You were unhappy with the codes that we provided for some of deficiencies we found as it meant your installations were recorded as unsatisfactory.
We provided an explanation as to why we considered certain items as a code 2. You disagreed and we offered to escalate the complaint to our qualifying supervisor. This further explanation didn't meet your approval either and we then offered to escalate the query to our regulator. They provided an alternative wording to the items in question, which we have taken on board, however they agreed that codes remained the same rendering your installations as unsatisfactory.
It is unlikely that we would have been able to convince you of the need to have these works carried out and we are not prepared to compromise on safety.
We hope this provides a reasonable explanation to your grievance and demonstrates that we take all complaints seriously regardless of how very few we have received whilst trading for over 40-years in the electrical industry.
I do feel that branding us ‘characters’ is a little unfair but you are entitled to your opinion.
Impressed by Eastbourne Electrical
I was very impressed by Eastbourne Electrical, who installed a Tesla charger, Nest thermostat and extractor fan over the last couple of days.
During the site visit (in advance of the work), Steve explained various approaches, and investigated the safety of my house wiring before giving a detailed quote. During the job, Chris was professional, friendly and respectful throughout, and made a very neat finish of all the components fitted. To his credit, Chris re-visited me in Tunbridge Wells first thing the following morning when I asked for a tweak.
Really delighted with the results.

I've used Eastbourne Electrical for all our domestic works within our busy letting agency 'Ancells Estates' for many years.
I have always found them to be extremely reliable and often attending quickly at short notice.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris and his team!
