It's a side door to hotel, bit clearly marked so you'd be lost trying to find. I rode the shuttle from airport and he had to tell us because we got off confused on where to go. Process to pick up a little annoying but of course they need what they need. She asked for returning flight while getting insurance and everything else. She said if you don't have a returning flight we will do a $500 deposit instead of $200, cool. The deposit not a problem so fine, I'm ready to go (I will take responsibility for that). She charged me for miles but never said if I have returning flight it would be unlimited (per what I booked). I called to ask why I paid for mileage and the lady defensively, not helpful, and rudely said its in terms and agreements. Lady told me everything BUT that, I could have got the flight and while I was looking to get it she was moving right along and never said you would not pay extra for unlimited mileage if show flight. The $500 didn't bother me cause I'm getting that back. Returning the car they have no one outside and just like when I came it was a lot of ppl. I tell the lady car outside and keys in cup holder like I found it because the shuttle to airport came. I get back and call them AGAIN (for the 5 time) they were not answering because it was soooo busy. The lady answering says car hasn't been closed out (this is after a 4 hour flight). She comes back and says they write it smells like cigarette smoke. I don't smoke ANYTHING. I say did you smell smoke? She said I didn't go to car. How was it not closed out but "he" write it smells like smoke? When was that written? Mind you they don't have ppl to return the car to like most places there is a return box and it someone outside to return to.
I didn't want to rent from them due to bad reviews and I should have went with my first mind. I paid an extra $20 A DAY for about three things. Everything was extra and I used my insurance. Overall save yourself. Don't do it!

Worst rental car company

Worst rental car company. Please read this review and never rent from this company. It took 1.5 hours for the shuttle to pick me up from the airport which is 5-7 minutes away from the rental location. The rental car was awful. I ended up missing my work appointment due to the unprofessionalism of the company. Upon arrival to the location I wanted an additional 20 mins for someone to help me- granted I was the only customer in the building waiting. The only reasoning that the worker told me for the wait is because he ‘was at the car auction’. That’s what I get for trying to save a few dollars. Ended up costing more in the long run.

New deposit amount or is that BS?

I was told that the new deposit for everyone is $500 AFTER I got there. I canceled. But she tried to tell me I wasn't going to get my $21 back, so she "escalated" it. I would rather eat something out of a toilet and let them keep that money. I'm getting that back no matter what. If the new deposit amount is $500, that means they're treating their customers like all of us are trash and can't pay a normal deposit of around $200, we have to be treated like criminals and pay more. I wish I would.

They misplaced our returned vehicle took over an hour to pick us up…

They took over an hour to pick us up from the airport. It was chaotic getting the car. We signed the paperwork and then we were brought a vehicle. Ee had a white Nissan Sentra and have video of the vehicle when we checked it out. But they said they gave us a Malibu and thats what was in the paper. We returned it on time but we were contacted 3 days later asking to return it. We now have to work with the police to try to retrieve surveillance footage to prove this. Do not rent from them, the savings isn't worth it. This is a nightmare.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – DISHONEST AND DANGEROUS COMPANY

Easirent is a scam operation disguised as a car rental company. My recent experience at Dublin Airport was both fraudulent and dangerous.

Unsafe vehicle: After just 200 km, I discovered that the tires were worn beyond the legal safety limit. Easirent refused any responsibility and told me I should replace the tires myself and "seek reimbursement from the insurance". I was on a short holiday — completely unacceptable.

Forced insurance scam: I had already booked and paid for full coverage online via Carjet. Upon arrival, Easirent refused to honor that insurance and forced me to pay €380 extra or leave a €3,500 deposit. But here’s the trick: they don’t accept credit cards, only debit cards — making the deposit option impossible. I was trapped.

Bait and switch vehicle: I had booked a Citroën Grand Picasso. Only after paying the extra insurance did they bring out a much lower-class Dacia Lodgy — no prior notice, no compensation, and no way to refuse. A total scam.

I ended up abandoning the vehicle in a secure car park and returning by bus, with the keys in hand — Easirent offered no support or retrieval plan.

➡️ This company thrives on deception, coercive upselling, and endangering customers with unroadworthy cars.
➡️ Avoid Easirent. Warn others. Report them to consumer authorities.

Professional Scam

Scam, Extortion, shady practices, fees for EVERYTHING, Customer Service was pathetic. Office in a dirty side street of a Marriott. The attempt was to upcharge for personal liability (even though I had insurance), tire and glass, tolls plus an additional deposit. These are the biggest scam artists out there. If you rent from them, do so at your own peril.

A criminal organization

A criminal organization. My rental broke down after four days and was towed away. No replacement was provided. When I asked for a refund for the days I paid for Easirent told me that there was "nothing wrong with the car" and was refused.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would! They’re ghetto as hell, staff is rude as hell and they lazy as hell. Check in is ridiculous, took almost 2 hours. Then return wasn’t any better cause it was 3 employees sitting at the desk doing absolutely nothing with the exception of playing on their phones yet they made us wait forever for the 1 busy employee to check us in. Then when we asked one of them to help they got smart! Never again cause Enterprise would have NEVER!

Our experience with Easirent Houston was TERRIBLE!

Our experience with Easirent Houston Hobby Airport was awful. No shuttle bus to car rental location for over an hour and a half.

When we got there, no apology. We informed the staff of the wait, and they didn't care. Staff were lazy, rude, and unhelpful.

After waiting another hour, the vehicle we rented wasn't there or available, and they gave us something sub par.

There were also long queues and some customers got cars that didn't start

Never renting with them again. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

easirent nightmare

First off when I flew into Houston,Tx. I called the number I was given to get the shuttle coming from courtyard at Marriott hotel. I was caller #7, waited on hold for 30 minutes to talk to someone. 45 minutes after I called a shuttle showed up. At the easirent office I was charged an extra $50.00 for a tollroad pass as the attendant said tollroads were everywhere and would cost $25.00 everytime I was scanned, which was a lie. Then we inspected the suv we rented. Nice jeep rig except 20 psi air in the front tire and a half tank of gas. I got suspicious after seeing that and decided to check the oil the next day. It wasn't even showing on the dip stick. cost $12.00 for oil and $5.00 for air at a convience store with a pay machine that was broken and just took my money. I was never reimbursed the $17.00 I spent to keep oil and air in the rental. I will never use easirent again. I'll walk first.

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company. I used a booking agent and went with this booking agent cheapoair. Easirents put a hold on my company's credit card and I was okay. I returned the car and I asked how long would this hold be on my company's credit card? I was told 5 to 7 business days and now it has been longer than that. I've called and asked. Why is there still a hold on my card? Then I was told it could take 5 to 10 business days. I Was told that it was released the day after I return the car on the 6th of September. It is still not been released back to my card. I called my card issuer.. It is the merchant that has to release the hold. As of today, my funds are still not released on my card. And I would never do business with this company ever again beware.!! Plus the fact they weren't even at the airport to pick me up like they said. I had to go out to the visitor's parking lot to get picked up with all my luggage. The car that I got finally after an hour, was the second car, had a big dent in the door. THE First car had a crack across the whole front window. I would never use easirentals ever again.!

Stay AWAY

Stay AWAY.
You'll see cheap prices but they have hidden costs designed to charge way more than any other competitor.
I rented a car for 1 day to get with the suitcases from the airport to my Airbnb and returned it the next day.

I booked the most expensive packed they had on their website. Meaning no deposit, no excess.
On my way to return it, another car reversed without looking an touched the bumper (colour transfer only). They charged me 75 euros as admin fee. So, no matter if it's not your fault you'll be charged the admin fee.

Today nearly a month after the rental they charged my card 15.40€ and sent an email saying it's 2 crossings at the M50 tolls plus 10€ admin fee. I paid the tolls myself as the rental agreement states clearly the tolls and parking are responsibility of the renter.
But they run a scam there, they give you to sign something without sending you a copy that says don't pay the tolls we will pay it for you and charge you for the privilege. So, they forcing you to pay 10€ for tolls.
I reported the transaction as fraud the bank opened an investigation with Mastercard.
In total for 1 day booking I was charged 144.40€ for a cheap small car. More than twice more expensive than their competitors.

STAY AWAY

I'd requested a refund for the rental…

I'd requested a refund for the rental amount after the agent told me of an additional 500.00 holding fee. I did not have the funds on my debit card and decided not to proceed with a different form of payment after the agent told me the hold would be in place for 5-10 business days. She said the refund would take a couple of days. It was a Monday and she said between then and Friday. The second agent said 24 to 48 hours. Not at all reassuring! So, I decided to reach out to customer service, when I reached number one after calling twice, the calls dropped. When I finally reached someone on the third try, the representative offered to transfer me to a supervisor, and transferred me to a voice that is not set up. I tried copying the email link and submit my concerns by email, only to have it bounce back- TWICE!
They offer cheaper rental prices but, Easirent does not seem to a reputable company :(

Horrible Extortionists - Rent away!
Booked a car with Easirent thru priceline.com in houston texas usa. When i get to their office the rental lady at their desk they were forcing me to get their insurance of about $20 or so per day. The rental person was loud, yelling, rude, manipulative. Almost like pay up more or else! I had already bought insurance when i had booked thru priceline and as a matter of principle i refused to pay what they were intimidating me to get. I had to find a ride back home and cost me $35. Horrible experience. Never rent from easyrent houston tx near by hobby airport
