Seeds did not sprout and they signed me up for recurring order without my knowledge.

25 lbs of low grow mix planted on freshly dethatched lawn with cow manure/compost dressing and daily manual watering. Almost none of it has germinated 6 weeks later. Waste of money and time. Now have to wait until fall to try overseeding. Will not be dealing with this company again.

After several months of waiting for the meadow mix seeds (ordered in March 2025), we finally received shipping notice in early June and received the seeds later that month. Being so late, we waited for a fall planting and hoped for the best for this spring. Well, it's now summer. The only thing that started coming up this past May is an abundance of asian red poppies. While this may be beautiful, this was not what we ordered. We wanted a native meadow mix that was pollinator friendly. There are only a few bees that go to these, and I've read that they can be invasive. SO very disappointed in this product and company. Would not recommend.

Created a shipping label immediately to make it look like something was happening, but the package was never picked up. After two months, and a couple excuses of them being a small company being overwhelmed with orders I finally cancelled. Fully expect I will need to hound them again to actually get the refund. Small company isn't a great excuse when they were able to blast ads everywhere this spring. Don't waste your money with them.

I never received my order. It sat in limbo for weeks supposedly being processed. A UPS label was created but the order was never sent to UPS. I reached out twice and each time they responded saying they were going to start moving the order immediately but I saw no evidence of that. I can't tell if it's a scam or they are severely overstretched. My next battle is obtaining a refund.

didn't germinate on multiple sites. Used tackifier maintained moisture - nothing but dead seed after 3 weeks. Conditions were good enough for Scott's product to work and successfully germinate. Warranty process way too onerous so just don't buy

If you decide to do a yard project, under no circumstances should you buy seed from this company!

I planned to replant my backyard this spring with the Meadowscaping Lawn Mix. I ordered 5 pounds of seed on March 18. The shipping label wasn’t printed until April 16. It is now June 1, and I still do not have my order. I have written twice and was assured my order was coming. Here in North Carolina we’re already getting temperatures in the 90’s.

Do not walk. RUN and find another vendor.

Never Received My Order Can't Get Any Response. Don't do it. It sounds great. We want to support US businesses. We NEED the grass seed.

There is no product. Those reviews are FAKE.

Earthwise Seed Company charged me for an order I made on April 15th I never received the package. I cannot reach them by phone. I receive emails from them saying the same thing they are processing this shipment and they are processing the refund. The emails sound like a form letter. This is not a good company to order from they do not have any customer service. To charge before a shipment is sent is fraud. To not refund that money because shipment was never received is fraud. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this company.

I would give the company zero stars if I could. I have no seeds after a month and a half. The planting season is almost over. I contacted the company three weeks ago, and someone named "Jim" apologized and said the seeds were on their way. Clearly, they are not. I want my money back and plan to contest this with MasterCard. What sad excuse for a company with the moniker Earth Seed.

Over a month and no shipment made. Communication keeps promising movement on the order, but nothing. I’ve been offered lots of discounts, but they are dancing around canceling/refunding the order.

Total scam! 6 weeks later and never received my order and was notified it was about to charge again for subscription.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Period. Their products sound amazing. I had two orders. One came around 6 weeks, which I expected from reviews. Almost none of the seeds germinated. Then, the second package - at around 8 weeks - I contacted the company saying I hadn't received my package yet and it was showing it had not even been shipped yet. They said "The carrier already picked it up so it is out of our hands" but if you looked on UPS it said that the label was created but the carrier had not yet pick up the package. I bought the seeds mid-march and it is now just shy of June and it still says that. I contacted the company again and asked for my money back. THEY IGNORED ALL OF MY EMAILS. I told them they told me last time that the seeds had been picked up and clearly they had not been picked up. I spent a lot of money on these crappy seeds. TOTAL SCAM. Do not buy. For the first time in my life I'm reporting someone to the BBB. They suck. BUYER BEWARE.

Never received the product. Reached out twice and both times they said it's on the way. Six weeks from order and it is still on the way. I asked for a refund and they ignored the request.

I ordered my Low Grow seed, and it arrived promptly, I didn't spread it right away, but that is on me -- wanted to make sure I prepped thoroughly and properly. I thought the seed packaging was of good quality. I spread 3 lbs of seed about 5 days ago now. It has not germinated yet, but I am going to be patient with it, and it is still well within the estimated time window provided on their website. I even received a follow-up email from one of their staffers. So far so good.

My daughter bought this seed for me. First she had to email them as it never shipped in the time framed indicated. So finally it shipped and we received it. Now we have planted several times over according to the instructions and none of it has grown at all. I believe the seed we got was non viable. It was also supposed to be a mix of pet grass and clover but there is only one kind of seed in the bag. Very unhappy. Would not waste money on this product. Gave 2 stars because we actually got the seed.

I placed my order in March. It is now the end of May, and I haven't received anything. They have repeatedly told me that my order is a "priority," which it obviously isn't. I have asked for a refund, and now I just get silence.

Scammers! They take your money and never ship the product. They'll start off friendly via email for customer service and then ghost you

I placed an order on April 12. It got as far as "label created" and then stalled. I followed up on May 7 by email, and a customer service rep named Jim (who wrote like AI) told me that he was pushing my order through that day. It's May 22 now, and still no progress. I've emailed four times and called once. The robo voice when I called said that no one was available to answer my call and had me leave a voicemail, which I did. Ironically, my order page says "Return window closed on May 9, 2026," even though I never received the product! I guess I'll dispute the transaction with my credit card company now, because I'm out of options.

UPDATE: A couple weeks after I disputed the transaction with my credit card company, my order suddenly arrived at my house! No shipping notification, no communication from Earthwise, nothing. But it's my order, and it's correct! It just took almost 2 months to arrive.

Why let customers order products if you can't filfill the orders? My order sat in limbo for a month. I contacted customer service and got a fairly prompt response from "Jim" who said he'd get my order moving immediately. Another week went by with no change, so after another email to "Jim" with no response I disputed the transaction with my bank to make sure I get my money back. Giant waste of time. Should've looked into them closer before ordering. Lesson learned
