The sandals seem nice, actually, but the customer service is terrible. They sent me the wrong size (a 7, whereas I payed for a size 11, that info was in the bill inside the box for the warehouse people to check). We exchanged a lot of emails, because they did not understand that they’ve sent the wrong size, and they insist to me that I have to send back the sandals from Canada to California. When I asked for a shipping label to return them, because I would not pay for the shipping because of their mistake, there were no more answers. Beware of shopping directly from them, because their customer service is absolutely useless and they seem to have zero quality control at their warehouse. Now, I have to throw away a new pair of sandals, because they are incapable of sending the good size or to answer adequately to a customer service issue.

I really wanted to like these especially after spending $180 but they are the worst. I now have severe plantar fasciitis and am in so much pain it's costing me a fortune for treatment and other better shoes. I used to walk barefoot at the beach every day with no issues so thought after reading the rave reviews on these sandals that they would be perfect for me. But they are definitely not right for everyone!! Very disappointed

Very very poor customer service, not looking out for the customer. Sizing was not accurate to the templates listed online, even though I checked about 5 different templates before ordering. My heel keeps overhanging over the back of the sandals even when I strap them on super tight and no blood can get to my feet.

Contacted customer service, return policy outside US not covered by them. Issues with parcel deliveries from EU to US currently as I paid a fortune to return them back to US and the postal courier returned back to me and they said "we can't send to US at the moment due to these issues".

Contacted customer service, there response pretty much... "Try again" 🤣

Postage to return costs me a fortune already, now I have to try again twice With no idea if it will get retuned to me again...

I helped them promote their products to customers under an affiliate marketing program to receive commission from Earthrunners, however my $800 commission was never paid. They disabled my account without any explanation, when I emailed them to ask why, they were silent. This is unprofessional and unethical business practice.

I bought a pair of sandals, that was supposed to be grounding with the earth. Had this electric gadget and did a test with them, they did not work perfectly, so I told their support. So they sent me a new pair for free! Actually haven't checked if the new ones works, because I moved to a new location and have been busy, but I have been using them all summer and I truly love them. No socks in summer and can even run with them. Had to give a positive review.

BUYERS BEWARE - These are extremely cheap products - basically, plastic soles with rope attached, that slip off when you attempt to walk. Completely unusable if you plan on actually moving with them on.

Of course, I returned them as soon as they arrived - in brand new condition - but was aghast to learn that they only would refund 80% of my purchase price. They retain the original shipping cost while then charging you an additional fee for shipping it back and then an ADDITIONAL FEE on top of that! In their words, the extra fee is for the "privilege" of letting you return their defective product.

It would not have stung as much had the product not been completely unusable. For a shoe product, they are asking their customers to take a major leap of faith prior to purchasing, given their unforgiving return policy.

*I'm guessing they implemented this policy due to so many people returning their sandals because they simply do not stay on your feet.*

Given their return policy and poor customer service, as well as the general cheapness of the product, AVOID BUYING!

I ordered the toe spacers and they came with no instructions. I emailed the company and they only responded with a link to their site. Not helpful at all. Terrible customer service.

I ordered a pair of Earth Runners about 2 years ago and have only worn them during the summer months and just for walking about (no hiking or running). At first they were great - super comfortable and felt solid. However recently the strap on one of them broke. I reached out to Earth Runners to explain that they were faulty and asked if they were covered with a warranty. At first I got friendly, quick replies asking to send photos, which I did. But once I sent the images they ghosted. Sent a follow up email and nothing. It’s a shame because I thought they were a decent company and would have purchased the shoes again in future but probably won’t now due to the unhelpful customer service and low quality of the shoes, which are pretty expensive to replace.

Not good customer service. After waking my earth runners for a couple weeks a recommended by the website a several reviews, I could NOT get over the overwhelming pain and thought it could be the flattest sole they offered so I attempted to exchange for something I could actually wear. After filling out the paperwork and sending the shoes back with the intention of exchanging I was contacted by customer service weeks later. First they cited a 35% restocking fee (the website says 20%) for an exchange and the telling me they were “ heavily used” even though I only had them for a couple of weeks following the instructions given for breaking them in. The policy states verbatim: “if the footwear shows signs of wear preventing us from re-selling as new, we may charge a 20% restocking fee”

This was not honored by the company and only offered me a discount on purchasing ANOTHER pair. Now I am stuck with an extremely uncomfortable pair of expensive sandals I will never wear from a company that doesn’t honor their own policy. Avoid at all costs!

I loved my sandals and found them very comfortable. All the videos show people wearing them in the water. Well I did and unfortunately they stunk from the water. Wet or dry they gave off a sour smell. I washed them and as soon as they got wet again they smelled. I have never had an issue like this and I don’t have foot odour. Unfortunately I had to throw away a very expensive pair of sandals.

Be very careful when ordering earth runners sandals if you have an issue in UK about returning sandals back to America. I have found that Customers Service is not good. They will send you email after email but never point out the issue that you state about the sandals. In my case it was about the copper at the bottom of the sandals where it was not lying flush with the rubber causing a bump when laying your foot to the ground causing a discomfort when hitting the ground. I just want to be real they are a lovely sandal but that copper has to lie flush with the rubber and that was the problem that they did not want to resolve by replacing the copper laces. Be very carefull when ordering these sandals from America to UK because to return them cost a fortune back to America. Stick to Vivobarefoot they have no issues. They act like a proper company in UK

Best shoes ever! most confortable of barefoot I tested. I am using them since 5 years. I am still confortable. Make sure you have extra space in length. I am buying a second pair because no enough space.

I’ve had my earth runners for 2 days and have done about 2 miles each day hiking in the desert. I’ve also ran around town doing some shopping and I find these sandals amazing. So comfortable and the fit is spot on using the print out sizing guide. Id give them 5 stars but getting the things adjusted is a bit frustrating and took me a bunch of tries to get them right. Once their adjusted right their the best!

The best barefoot and running sandals I have ever used. I have been using them for several years. Top quality and real barefoot feeling while running. I have regularly run half marathon distances with them.

I kid you not, freedom is waiting for you, and it turns out it's a pair of shoes...okay, I kid a little, but these sandals are seriously comfortable. So comfortable, it is liberating! So liberating, I am crazy with it! I wear them for everything from strolling to the mail box to running on a track or trail. They stay put in water and dry fast. They protect you from splinters and other ouchie-makers, but you feel like your feet are really free. I don't need to buy a hundred more pairs, though I want to, so instead I will recommend them to hundreds of people! Plus, the tan line makes a triangle when you put your feet together - cute!
