Lawsuits brought by former employees represent a disproportionate number of cases filed in California’s state and federal courts. Often, these cases involve alleged violations of California’s technical and labyrinthine wage and hour laws or skewed versions of events that led to an employee’s discharge. The responsibility of complying with California’s workplace laws in the management of employees and the administration of an organization’s Human Resources function is also more challenging than ever. That’s where Employer Advocates Group comes in. Since 2002, EAG has been effectively defending and protecting California employers in employment litigation and advising them in human resources matters to proactively reduce and manage potential legal risk. Our team's expertise is focused on ensuring that every client receives a defense tailored to their needs, achieved in a cost-effective manner. As creative problem solvers, we work collaboratively with business owners and management teams to navigate the legal landscape, and mitigate potential risk, with confidence. Get started by calling EAG at (949) 277-0303 or (805) 782-9900.

We are unfortunately over a year into a claim and not sure the outcome yet but Steve’s counsel has been nothing but positive. He really hears you out and digs in to make sure he fully understands the situation which allows him to do his part and respond to the claim. He does a great job answering all your questions and does his best to keep you informed of the process. This is our first claim as a business owner which we all hope never happens but to have Steve in our corner gives a great deal of comfort and confidence to go through the legal procedures properly and make sure we are covering all bases. Hopefully this will be the last claim or case we go through but if we need counsel again in the future we know who we will be calling.. Steve
We were sued by a former employee. They were looking for a 5-figure check and we had no idea what to do. After talking to a few lawyers, we finally found the Employer Advocates Group. Steven walked us through the whole process. He fought for us and made an untenable situation better. We have talked with him about other employee issues and the advice he gives is always spot on. He always has our back.
