Twice in four days, missing items
Twice in four days there were missing items in my order. Talked to customer service and the restaurant but it was impossible to find what went wrong. I simply uninstalled the app from my phone. I think talking directly with the restaurant, since most of them have their own delivery people, is safer.
No refunds from Supermarket. No response from customer support.
No refunds from supermarket Sklavenitis when they charged me for missing items.
Customer support still hasn't respond days after the incident. Also, there is no phone to contact them because they know they are bad.
I will either sue them or call my bank to cancel the transaction as malicious.

Disappointing delivery
Frustrating experience! The delivery guy managed to bring the waffles upside down and in pieces, as if they’d been through a soccer match. Trying to get help from chat support felt like an endless waiting game—half an hour just for a first response. The representative briefly apologized for the delay and then disappeared again for a while. If you’re short on staff, hiring more customer care reps - and some POLITE delivery people, might be a good idea. It's really not our fault, and definitely not the restaurants either, since they prepare everything perfectly. Really disappointing!
I ordered a product from eFood Market…
I ordered a product from eFood Market at 19:59, with an estimated delivery time of 30 minutes. However, after the next 15 minutes, they stopped accepting orders, and my order was rescheduled for delivery the next day at 9:30 AM without any communication (no email, phone call, etc.). This is unacceptable behavior! They didn't even send a coupon for their mistake. For your information, I was paying for the PRO subscription.

Disappointing Experience with efood – Unacceptable Customer Service
I feel compelled to share my dismal experience with efood, as the situation completely surpasses any acceptable level of professionalism and respect toward the customer.
I placed two orders over a few days, and in both cases, there were excessive delays. The estimated delivery time was not met, resulting in the orders arriving cold and inedible.
I contacted customer support to explain the issue and request a solution. Despite promises of redelivery and compensation, I NEVER received any response. I was forced to place another order, paying again, only to experience the same level of disappointment.
Their indifference is infuriating. Not only did they fail to provide any meaningful solution, but they literally left me hanging without any updates. This treatment is completely unacceptable for a company that advertises “prompt and quality” customer service.
I rate efood with the lowest possible score wherever I can and warn others to be extremely cautious. No customer deserves to be treated with such disregard and lack of respect.

Forces You to Donate to Charity
There is no option to un-do the donation to charity option. I pressed it by accident and there is no way to unselect the option. I ended up ordering without unselecting. And the worst thing is, now it will be forever on my previous orders so if I use the order again option, I'll have to pay this stupid donation thing again.
There is no way to contact them either so I am forced to leave this review in the hopes that they will see it and fix it
I placed a supermarket order at 15.00…
I placed a supermarket order at 15.00 today expecting to arrive at 18.00. At 22.00 after being in contact with 2 customer service people I was told that the store was closed and that the order was cancelled. The customer service kept on reassuring me that the order is on its way like minutes away from 20.00 till 22.00!! Unbelievably disappointed NEVER AGAIN!
Bad Quality of Service
The estimated delivery times provided by restaurants are completely unrealistic on their platform (both e-food and restaurants are responsible for that). They often claim 25 minutes, but the order can take up to an hour longer to arrive. Despite these delays, they still charge you and offer no compensation, simply stating they were busy. These delays also negatively impact the food's quality, leaving it cold. The customer service staff is unhelpful and ineffective, making it more efficient to deal with automated bots than the support personnel you're paying for.

I had to report the transaction to my bank as a scam. HSBC is working on that. I made a claim for an order having missing items. They closed the claim after asking what’s wrong (I’ve already reported the missing items).

I like e-food. They offer a lot of discounts depending on the day & hour. It's convenient for me. Used it a LOT during my stay in Athens.

I'm having a nightmare with this…
I'm having a nightmare with this delivery platform.
Though it began very well, and I never had any real issues, but over the past Eight months every second to third order has an issue.
It's either cancelled, or arrives way out of the designated time frame set on the store I order from.
They take the money from your account, then cancel the order, promising you it will be returned the next few days.
I just made a €103 order, and once again it was cancelled.
Nobody asked me if I have another €103 to complete a second purchase.
Which i don't.
So my family will not have dinner tonight or lunch tomorrow, because it's efoods policy to not verify the order with the store, then remove the funds from my account.
I called the efood contact number to complain, 36 times in 25 minutes and every time the number just kicks me off, no ring, no message.
Good work efood.
