Is anybody there?

I ordered something on 23 Dec, and I'm aware that we've had Christmas and New Year, but no mention on their website that they are closed or running a reduced service. I've heard absolutely nothing since I placed my order. No update at all. It just shows as 'processed' online and it doesn't appear to be moving through the system to be dispatched any time soon. The chat bot is next to useless. I tried calling but the wait times are painful (60+ mins) and while on hold the message says 'your wait time is minutes' - so no actual number and after 30 mins of holding I hung up. No email address, no complaints process, nothing...and from these reviews, even if I did get through, I will have wasted more of my life only to reach someone unhelpful. How has a huge organisation like Dyson got one star and we're all still shopping there??? I want to cancel my order and go somewhere else...rubbish service!

I get the impression that they just write and don't do anything, they keep telling me to wait 24-48 hours and nothing happens. Customer (dis) service reps deliberately mislead you

When you order from a large, reputable company such as Dyson you expect some of their profits have gone into good customer service. This isn’t the case here! We teach our children that the definition of a lie is when somebody deliberately misleads or deceives you, and on this premise - Dyson representatives have lied to me twice. Due to an error on their website, I ordered two hairdryers in error. Without even opening one of them, I contacted Dyson to make a return - this worked well. I was sent an email from DPD with details of how to return, which I did on 12/12/25. I got confirmation that it had been collected and was en route back to Dyson. That’s where the tracking ended, it’s now just in limbo. After ringing Dyson customer services twice - this is where I’ve been misled:-
23/12/25 - “Yes, I can see that your hairdryer has been returned. Please don’t worry, a refund is due and will be paid on 2/1/26. It’s PayPal’s fault, they take too long to refund.”
5/1/26 - After sending requested PoD (even though I’d previously been told a refund was on the way). “I am sending your proof of delivery to our back room staff and they will authorise your refund today. I will ring you personally before 4:00 p.m. to confirm that this has been done. Please stay on the line when the call is finished to complete a satisfaction questionnaire.” This made me smile!
Time is now 5:15 p.m. - no phone call or other communication to confirm the refund. I’ve been waiting on hold for 43 minutes. The voice tells me that my wait time is minutes - not how many! NEVER again will I buy Dyson and would urge you to think twice, too. Terrible company!

Ordered a floor cleaner on the 6th…

Ordered a floor cleaner on the 6th December 2025. Still chasing them for a delivery date. terrible customer service. Wouldn't use again.
Now 11.01.2026. Item cancelled over a week ago.
Still waiting for refund. Disgusting service
IT IS NOW 04/03/2026 AND STILL CHASING FOR REFUND. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING COMPANY. STEER WELL CLEAR

Poor battery on Dyson V8 cordless

Purchased in October, the product brief said battery lasts for between 20-40 minutes based on use. Rubbish, lasts 10 minutes if lucky. Complained to Dyson and sent replacement battery. Same issue, very poor battery, absolutey useless. You can charge one while using the other but these take ages to charge and you have to remove 3 screws to change over. Would have been much better with a click or clip on system and not use screws. Really disappointed we chose this model and manufacturer. Simple fix, sort out your poor batteries and change the battery inserting process by removing the need for screws.

Customer service TERRIBLE!

Ordered vacuum Sunday 28th December.
Website says free next day delivery, so was expecting today. Called customer service, waited 30minutes, to be told nothing he could do, repeating as if from pre-written script.
Awful customer service, rude offering no help at all. God knows when it will arrive, the recipient travels abroad tomorrow. If I’d have known I wouldn’t have ordered from them as I needed it quickly!

Terribly built

Terribly built ! Filters come loose, looses power, something always breaks ! We bought 7 different dysons for a test and they are all completely waste of time and over priced ! Plenty of cheaper and much better options out their !

I bought a Dyson air wrap online on 2nd…

I bought a Dyson air wrap online on 2nd December it was never delivered,I rang up to let them know and they said they would look into this and get back to me. The customer service team are shocking they all tell you different things and they never get back to you. I rang four time between the 9th and 16th to get a refund they now tell me I have to wait 14 working days. It’s a joke. I am disgusted in Dyson and I will never buy of them again.

Extremely Disappointed with Dyson’s Delivery & Customer Service

I am very disappointed with Dyson’s service. At the time of purchase, the item was clearly stated to be delivered within 5–7 working days. It has now been over 14 working days, and I have still received no delivery, no tracking update, and no meaningful communication.

What makes this worse is the complete lack of support from customer service. Despite multiple attempts to get help, I’m simply just stalled...no clear deadlines.

To add to the frustration, I’m not even allowed to cancel the order, even though Dyson has failed to meet their own delivery timeline. Being left in limbo with no product, no information, and no option to cancel is unacceptable.

This experience has been extremely disappointing and far below the standard I expected from a brand like Dyson. I hope this gets addressed urgently, as customers deserve transparency, updates, and basic support when things go wrong.

I don't even rate Dyson 1 star - needs official investigation

I don't even rate Dyson 1 star, but need to select something here. Historically Dyson product and service was excellent. I have vacuums and more recently the air wrap. Today Dyson is nothing like that. Over 7 phonecalls to Dyson. Over a month of escalation. Incorrect contact details that no one updates. A product sent back that is then sent back to me with no explanation and still doesn't work as it should do. Faulty product, non existent customer support. Disgusting is an understatement. Read reviews carefully. Do not buy Dyson! Given Sir James still owns Dyson this is truly an insult to the customers who have made him a billionaire! Dispatches...BBC...Martin Lewis...where are you? This needs investigating.

I thought it couldn't get any worse - I was soooo wrong!

Well, it’s about time for a follow-up to my original review of 30th March, 2025.

Delivery of the repaired heater: The courier who came to deliver the repaired heater duly arrived, and it was the same guy who had collected it for repair the previous week - he was slightly annoyed to say the least, as they had given him an empty box and told him he was to collect the original heater for repair, which he had already done the previous week. According to him it wasn’t the first time they had done this either…

So, another day off work for…nothing. Thanks Dyson!

Since buying this heater I have noticed two REALLY annoying things about it:

1 - When the thermostat turns off the heating element, literally within seconds you can feel a draught. I had originally thought it was just the sensation of the warm airflow stopping, but no – the heater actually starts blowing cool air when the heating element goes off!! Really??!! According to Dyson, the heater needs to keep air flowing through the large opening so it can monitor the air temperature and know when to turn the heating element on again. Really??? It’s the first fan heater I have EVER come across that has to do this, and which also makes you cold in the process! Thanks Dyson.

2 - If you have Sky tv and use the heater in the same room, the Sky remote control intermittently operates various functions of the heater at random; for example, it will turn it on. By pure chance I noticed the fan noise when about to leave the house several times, and discovered that the heater was actually on, despite me not having turned it on with the Dyson remote control – this to me is clearly a safety issue! It has also switched itself on when I have been sitting in front of it changing channel on Sky, which is how I know it happens. Thanks for another first Dyson!

So, all in all I am again thoroughly unimpressed with Dyson – does their talent know no beginning? and unsurprised at not receiving any response to emails I have sent them.

I have given one of the heaters away to a charity shop and the other went to the recycling centre, as it broke again and I cannot be bothered with Dyson’s shoddy support and lack of interest in their customers.

Dyson: sod you!

Very Poor Customer Service

Bought a Dyson V15 on November 30th with next day delivery. The order was sent out, but never went any further than the London East Ham Parcelforce depot.

I have now spoken with 4 Customer Service Advisors who have each time assured me the order will be delivered in the next few days. After 2 weeks of waiting it's clear it's not coming and I've been without a vacuum cleaner for two weeks. Customer Services is like something out of the 90's with long call wait times and offshore call centre staff that seem to have no power to escalate issues, create refunds, or send out replacement orders. All you get is excuses about them raising it with Parcelforce and hoping the order will miraculously arrive. Additionally, you keep getting told you will get update emails, but you get nothing. Meanwhile the customer is left with no order, no information about what is happening and no route to a resolution. Pure limbo. In this day and age this is completely unacceptable. I would never use this company again. Terrible service! 0 stars!

I ordered on Black Friday direct from…

I ordered on Black Friday direct from Dyson I still haven’t received the hoover , the customer service is appalling every one works remotely all over Europe.
The response you get is they will get back to you and your case has been escalated.
This is rubbish as you don’t hear anything from them .
It is really frustrating , I wish I had gone to a shop or Amazon . Dyson said next day delivery I’m now on day 14 . Come on Dyson this is unacceptable.

The most useless expensive thing I ever bought!

Awful customer service

I have been waiting weeks for filters for my fan. I have telephoned numerous times, been promised callbacks that never happened. Dyson used to be so good with their customer service. What happened??? They obviously don’t give a fig for their customers as they haven’t even acknowledged other bad reviews and attempt to give excuses.

🚀 Blazing Fast Repair Service and Excellent Functionality

I recently utilized the Dyson repair service and was incredibly impressed with the speed! The entire process, from the day I posted my styler to the day it was back in my hands, took a remarkable one week. This quick turnaround is absolutely fantastic and minimized my downtime without the machine. Most importantly, the styler is now fixed and working perfectly, performing better than before the repair!

While the repair itself was a success, there were a couple of minor hiccups. When the courier arrived, they brought a huge box clearly meant for a vacuum cleaner, not my smaller styler. I had to quickly improvise, placing my styler in a smaller box first to ensure its safety before putting it into the oversized shipping container—a detail I hope Dyson can streamline for future customers.

Also, I did notice a few small scratches upon its return that seem to have occurred during the repair process. They are purely cosmetic, and the excellent performance of the fixed machine certainly outweighs this minor issue.

Given the blazing-fast repair time and the excellent result (my machine works flawlessly), I still rate the overall process a 7 out of 10. I remain a big fan of Dyson products and appreciate that they can fix their machines so quickly. I simply need to be ready for the logistical steps if I purchase another one and need a repair down the line.

Simply awful customer service and not…

Simply awful customer service and not for the first time. I purchased a Dyson hairdryer direct from Dyson over 2 weeks ago and the item has still not arrived. The Dyson courier (Parcelforce) keeps saying that they have attempted delivery but they don’t as my doorbell camera proves. I have contacted Dyson numerous times and each time I am told that the case has been escalated, I will get a call back but it never happens. I have today been told that I should collect the item from the Parcelforce depot which is over 30 minutes from my home! This is not the first time we have experienced poor service from Dyson. I purchased a Dyson Corral a few months back and we had the same issue with Parcelforce. When we eventually received the item it was faulty straight out of the box. We contacted Dyson and we were told that we had to send it to be repaired! We reluctantly agreed to do this and when the item was returned it looked like a second hand machine with marks on the body, despite us purchasing a brand new product. I would save your time and money and choose another brand.
