Appalling. Called on Sunday at 2.20 in the afternoon. Said they would come out. Never showed up. Left my parents ( in their 90s) without a working toilet. If they had just told us they wouldn’t come, then we could have gone elsewhere. Don't believe the 24/7 service sales pitch. Went elsewhere that evening and had service in 40 mins.
They were called in the evening, and had fixed the problem, which affected bathroom taps and toilet, with minimal disturbance, by 1pm next day.
After long months awaiting for a letter of apology and Dyno-Rod.
For damaging my property not a single letter of apology not a phone call call absolute shambles.
They are part of British Gas and to date British Gas will not write apology either.
Both companies Dyno-Rod and British Gas are so unprofessional it's unbelievable I wouldn't recommend either company the backup guarantee you would get with them if just one person will pick up the phone me personally and apologise they just couldn't care less take your money damage your house damage your property if you're lucky you might hear from them. To conclude we are now in April and I've never had an apology in writing from either Dyno-Rod or or British Gas. Or the proper compensation for the inconvenience and damage to my property. They did replaced the carpet and the flooring in my bathroom and bedroom they've also replaced the side of the shower that they damaged these things have been replaced and l have £150 received compensation so far. It doesn't even come near the time and expense I've had to go to even my bed was damaged with water being pumped from the bathroom into the bedroom for no apparent reason. And being disabled I had to sleep in a separate bedroom for some days so my bed would dried out.
I just hope they don't do this to another unfortunate customer it is absolutely horrendous and as I say they just couldn't care less. They won't write to you they won't phone you they send you a text message now and again from British Gas they are not particularly interested a whole lot in my opinion and this is only my opinion due to the damage to my property totally unprofessional letter how could I ever recommend them cowboys.BCG.
