I recently visited this BMW service location to have the brake fluid replaced. During the visit, I was informed that my tires needed replacement.
I was told the rear tires would cost €389 per tire. With the 25% discount applied for two tires, the total should have been €583.50, but €774 initially appeared on my invoice. This was not the price communicated to me beforehand, and I would not have approved it if I had known. Only after several emails and after I stated that I had the pre-invoice was the amount corrected and a new invoice issued.
In addition, the pre-invoice and my request were for the replacement of three tires, but only two were actually replaced.
A Lego item (€42.98) also appeared on my invoice without my request. After I objected, I was told it was a gift and the amount was removed from the invoice.
I was also told that because I have a service contract, the brake fluid replacement was not listed on the invoice. In my opinion, it should still appear on the invoice with a €0 charge. At this point, I am not even certain whether the brake fluid was actually replaced.
Furthermore, the car was supposed to be washed. Later, I was told that I had requested it not to be washed, which is incorrect. I had asked for it to be washed, but this was apparently not recorded.
Overall, the pricing and communication were not transparent, and this created a negative experience and reduced my trust. I strongly recommend always comparing the final invoice with the pre-invoice before making any payment. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this branch in the future.
