Simply it doesn't work
Simply it doesn't work. I emailed the company and was ignored. The webiste to set up doesn't exist its actually up for sale. A piece of rubbish sadly.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I have just finished trying to install my new DUOBOOST repeater using the WPS function on my Vodafone router. Can see the new wifi ext on my phone but the signal strength is only HALF of the original one from my router any where in the house. Waste of money, I should have read the reviews first.
GUYS LOL.. alot Of U Are Setting The Thing Up Wrong n Saying It Don't Work... First... U need to connect to its Wi-Fi Signal to Access its Page. Then type my d address myminirepeater.net. then Click Wizard and choose Repeater Mode.. Connect to your Main Router and Then let it reset.. Go connect.. MY ONLY DAMN ISSUE IS NO FIRMWARE UPGRADES... after it goes Wack..
Great concept and staff, excited to see this grow. Definitely better than rolling dice on random boosting sites. I get to see my booster and his stats, not worrying if he is skilled enough.
Worked intermittently for a year then stopped. The web address for logging into the repeater no longer works. Seems they've just packed up and left everyone unsupported.
Doesn’t even light up with power a total scam!
Now in the rubbish bin so stay away from this rubbish!
Scammers!!!! Be aware!!!! Was so stupid not to read reviews before buying. It’s impossible to set up, no popping out windows. Webpage they refer to myrepeater.net is for sale, so no information at all.
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this product. What a disgraceful product. The writeup states that you can just plug it in and you are good to go. Not true. The instructions are impossible to read without a magnifying glass and are misleading and not true. The website the instructions refer too is just a one page marketing review. The IP address referred to in the instructions takes you to a site that bares no resemblance to the screen shown in the instructions and it is impossible to log in as stated. Please don't waste your money as we have done. We feel very sad that someone could con people in this way. Oh well, you live and learn every day.
Bought this item. Spent 6 hours to get it connected. It is useless. Don't waste your money. Go for a different brand.
If I could give this zero stars I would. Wish I’d read other reviews before purchasing. It’s a dreadful device. Doesn’t work at all - despite being listed as one of the top five boosters. Waste of money. Their tech support is terrible. Told me I should pay a fee for them to get it to work. Wouldn’t provide me with details on how to return the item and was just so indifferent to my issues.
Absolute rubbish. Don't buy. Instructions not very easy to follow and somewhat contradictory. I bought 2 of these following the hype in a 'Best to Buy' survey, and conclude that this is all it is, Hype. Technical support from this company is useless and seems not to understand the problem I was having in trying to configure the device for 'WiFi' connection. The so called 'Re-set' button does nothing. Buyer Beware.

I bought this device for my neighbour, who had read marvellous reviews about it. I warned him, but he was adamant and asked me to order it, anyhow.
The firmware is three years old. It is bad, unusable, and there are no updates available. As others have written, configuring the device is almost impossible and the Repeater/Extender mode does NOT work at all. Before trashing it, I finally tried the WISP mode. After playing chess with the rest of the settings, the device finally started to work, to a point. The speed was max 15 Mbps, nothing to write home about.
You CAN find SCAM five-star reviews from a site that links to the seller's site. It even has a "form" that you can fill in and give your star rating, but the form does not send anything. It is just a scan as well.
DO NOT BUY THIS!
I find it impossible to setup. And if connected - brings the main network down. Impossible to find help. I can only belive the Top5wifiboosters.net website is the owner.
Doesn't work with my totally new Wifi-Box. The setting interface is terribly complicating. Don't waste your money. Rather use another repeater like for example FritzBox!
This does not connect to my Virgin system despite it claiming to.
There is no online help or contact for the seller. The instructions are as clear as mud.
Don't waste your money
The Duobooster does not connect to my Xfinity modem using the WPS button. The Duobooster web site and/or IP address to where I supposedly can manually set up the device never launches. I tried using Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. Thus, I find this a worthless piece of equipment.
Great concept and staff, excited to see this grow. Definitely better than rolling dice on random boosting sites. I get to see my booster and his stats, not worrying if he is skilled enough.
