Best customer service ever!!
Wow, Duftkerze.de goes way beyond normal customer service! Here's how:
First, they already had the best price on the specific candles and bath bombs I wanted to buy, but usually best price and good customer service are a hard combination to find. Thankfully they are both found at this company. Here's my experience: I had made a large enough order to have free shipping, but realized the morning after submitting the order that I wanted to add a couple more items. I tried calling customer service to see if it would be possible to add to the order before it was shipped so that I wouldn't need to pay shipping for the smaller order. A real person, Christian, answered immediately (no waiting on hold or having to navigate through an automated service). After explaining my dilemma to Christian, he immediately found my order and was able to pause it from going out while we were adding the other items. It was Friday around noon when I called in, and I explained to Christian that my daughter's birthday would be on Monday (in 3 days) and asked if there was any chance of it arriving in time. Christian realized it was close to the time that DHL would pick up the packages, so he asked me to stay on the line and paused everything (even my payment) so that he could reach out to his coworkers and ask that they prepare the package immediately for pick up. This would have already been wonderful customer service, but on top of all of that, Christian told me he had also include a free gift in the package for our daughter's birthday and to please wish her a happy birthday from Duftkurze!!! Talk about going WAY beyond in customer service!!
I was hopeful the package might arrive by Monday, but it actually arrived the very next day, less than 24 hours after speaking with Christian. When I opened the box, I was completely surprised to find a full-sized "Happy Birthday" candle for our daughter - this was much more than I had in mind when he told me of the gift they had included.
Because of Christian and his great customer service, Duftkerze.de has earned this loyal customer for sure!! Thank you!
