If you’re into small companies that are personal and all about customer service, then Steven is definitely a great call. I bought my first serious watch from him as I wanted something that I knew the person who made, I was getting into watches and really didn’t want to just buy something that was about bragging rights. I emailed into ask to speak to Steven just to ask some questions and he quickly jumped on a zoom call with me. Took me through things and answered my inexperienced questions. When I then committed to buying a watch, the surprise to have Steven say he would be in London at the end of the month and would deliver it personally was amazing. I took Steven for a whisky and we got to know each other. He showed me the watch, talked me through it and just was a genuinely amazing guy.

The worst part is that having had this incredible experience, I am now totally hooked, but I also want to only buy a watch from somewhere that replicates this incredible experience alongside an actual product that is as good as the one Steven provided. The watch is amazing. Beautiful and wears brilliantly. I have had it for a few months and I didn’t take it off for at least a month.

I bought a second watch off Steven and cannot wait to receive it. This is what buying a quality product should be all about. Steven even brought me a photo of him building the watch himself.

I do a ton of research and ask a lot of questions before I make a big purchase (which can annoy most salesmen, especially car salesmen). Steven’s customer service is a breath of fresh air! He was very helpful throughout the entire process—sending pictures and answering any and all questions I had. The watch itself is great, no complaints. I’m glad I went with it for my first watch. I’ll be recommending DuFrane to anyone who’s looking for an awesome watch with awesome customer service!

I had an exceptional experience purchasing this Waterloo Mechanical. The owner of DuFrane worked with me personally in looking over several of the pieces. Also showed a few different band choices with the Waterloo I selected.
All his watches have a wonderful level of detail and quality, especially for the price.
I picked the Waterloo gold automatic for it's beautiful high polished bezel and case edges. As well the wonderful heated blue hands and engraved caseback.
