It's a total scam
It's a total scam, no delivery yet and it's been months since I placed my order.
I love Duda.
I love Duda.. I love everything about this company, especially the customer service!!!!!
Support is useless
Support is useless. Somehow my client has managed to remove me from admin and now no one can access the site. Now we have to go to the expense and fustration of moving to another platform.
Happy with my switch to Duda
I chose Duda as a web builder after many years and projects on Wordpress. Super nice builder, fast loading times and as they indicate: it improves your workflow considerably!
The easy switching between customers in the dashboard, the 1-click-live system and the updates that are implemented across the entire platform is truly a pleasure to work with.
I have already asked the helpdesk a question several times, and they respond within a few minutes via Live Chat. Lots of knowledge, nice team that is happy to assist you.
In my opinion, the payment options on Stripe for Client Billing should simply have iDeal.
Zyra has proven to be an expert in…
Zyra has proven to be an expert in website hosting configurations, troubleshooting & resolving my website issue in just 1 minute, which your previous team member and even my Domain provider could not resolve in over 4-5 hours.
I think, she is an important asset to Duda and she has ability to proactively identifing potential website hosting issues and takes preventive measures to avoid service disruptions.
Zyra has exceeded my expectations, setting a high standard in both technical expertise and customer service. Rewarding her efforts with a well-deserved salary increase will not only recognize her past accomplishments but also motivate her to maintain and further develop her high level of performance.
Duda has the best customer service and…
Duda has the best customer service and actually has live support chat unlike squarespace. It's really personable and friendly and solutions are made efficiently
Easy-to-use drag-and-drop…
Easy-to-use drag-and-drop functionality, making the design process efficient even for those with limited technical skills. The platform is also highly responsive, ensuring sites look great on both desktop and mobile.
Duda is the best agency partner
Duda has been a wonderful partner for our agency. Their platform is so easy to use, and is constantly updated with the most up-to-date and market ready widgets and apps. I have nothing but positive things to say about Duda the platform and Duda the organization.
Duda is so helpful and the software is…
Duda is so helpful and the software is amazing!
The software is simply the best
The software is simply the best--and our agency has tried them all. The support team and staff is great as well. Duda has allowed us to reduce our build times by 70%--that's right 70%. A game changer for us. This allows us to help SMBs compete against much bigger companies as we can charge reasonable rates.
I have been dealing with Duda's…
I have been dealing with Duda's complete lack of communication for over a month now, and it has been an absolute nightmare. My account has been completely unusable because I can't republish my site at all, and despite countless attempts to get their team to fix the issue, they have been utterly useless.
The customer service is hands-down the worst I have ever experienced. Not only do they not care about their customers, but they also seem to have no interest in resolving critical issues that affect people's businesses. I've had zero follow-up, zero updates, and zero solutions.
Duda's blatant disregard for their users is appalling, and they have made it abundantly clear that they do not value customer relationships. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this platform to steer clear—if you run into any issues, expect to be completely ignored.
Avoid Duda at all costs. They don't deserve your time or money.
Accidently purchased two instances
Accidently purchased two instances. Extremley hard to cancel. Cant remove credit card. Support is poor and functionality is average.
They are the worst
They are the worst. They've consistently tried to push me to paying for something I don't need and can't use. Final insult was making my mobile site unusable and refusing to assist with the problem. I'm not a tech "newbie" - these people are utterly incompetent. The final insult is they make cancelling your account virtually impossible. Next stop is BBB.
Please do better Duda :(
As a non-techie who doesn’t have the time nor desire to figure out Wordpress all over again, I wanted to try Duda because my GoDaddy website looks very plain & boring. Some of Duda’s templates look really nice & colourful, but when I went on to edit two & previewed them, everything was so slow to load & the transitions, clunky. I even took out the ONLY two fade effects I used and reduced my videos, but to no avail. As I’m running a non-profit website, the miserable load is really bad for visitor retention. I feel like I’ve wasted so many hours just for nothing. What a pity cos Duda has so much potential for customers like me.
The mobile, tablet & web view need to be edited individually too but whatever I rectified in my tablet view always messes with how it appears in web view. It feels like I’m in the endless vicious cycle of Wix realm all over again.
I have been trying to stay optimistic for 5 days & still on their trial period. And Duda isn’t exactly cheap. Let’s see how I feel about it tmrw. If I don’t feel positive I might as well don’t part with my money & just stay with GoDaddy. Plain as my website is, at least it is much cheaper, loads ultra fast & we’re still first on Google search. Not to mention the availability of customer service. I just have to find a way to un-bore my design. This is just me consoling myself.
Absolute Nightmare - Avoid Duda Website Hosting! pen_spark
As a web designer for over 5 years, I've relied on various website hosting platforms. However, my recent experience with Duda was an absolute nightmare.
Let me explain. I accidentally cancelled my yearly plan, intending to avoid automatic renewal at the end of the term. Big mistake. This seemingly simple action resulted in the immediate unpublished status of ALL my client websites! These are paying clients who depend on their websites being live. Needless to say, I was furious and incredibly disappointed.
Duda's communication regarding cancellation consequences was misleading. Their information stated websites would remain active until the subscription ended, yet mine were unpublished immediately. This contradiction added insult to injury.
To "fix" the issue, Duda offered a convoluted workaround. Their solution involved me restarting payments on a monthly plan, with the promise of manual refunds every month. Here's the kicker: there was no guarantee these refunds would be processed! On top of that, the process seemed like a huge hassle, requiring me to submit monthly refund requests.
The most shocking part? Despite my over 5 years of loyalty as a customer, Duda refused to reinstate my original plan as a one-time exception. This lack of customer support solidified my frustration and left me feeling completely undervalued.
In short, avoid Duda AT ALL COSTS! Their unclear communication and unwillingness to find a customer-centric solution have left me fuming. There are far better website hosting options available that prioritize clear communication and value their customers.
My advice? Run far, far away from Duda!
Worst site builder I've ever used.
As someone who specialises in creating cost-efficient websites for business owners, I can't and wouldn't recommend Duda to anyone. The countless problems with Duda make my job extremely difficult due to the amount of time I have to spend troubleshooting the most idiotic hurdles they place at every single corner.
I've unfortunately been using Duda for close on 3 years now (not by choice) and my sanity has plummeted due to this. I am constantly finding myself having to find ways to work around the downfalls of Duda which consistently turns a 1 week project into a 1 month (or more) project.
Even the most basic features are clunky and inefficient and instead of fixing them, Duda seems determined to add more unnecessary features that are inevitably clunky and inefficient. To add insult to injury, when they DO finally try to improve the basic features they end up making them even worse. The latest mind-boggling change they've made is that when you try to move a widget down your page (text box, button etc) instead of simply moving the widget it will try to minimise the size of the widget. Why?! Why even change it? This was about the only thing that worked consistently and is the most basic function and with one change they've made it unuseable.
Optimisation is an unknown concept on this platform. For example, you have three versions of any individual site; desktop, tablet, and mobile. However, while this sounds helpful, not one section/widget/text box will automatically resize for tablet which means you then need to go through every single section of your desktop site, duplicate everything and hide the duplicated sections on the desktop site before then going through everything AGAIN to resize and optimise for tablet. While the mobile version will convert certain widgets from desktop it does so in such an inefficient manner that for 9 out of 10 sections you will have to repeat the same process that you did for the tablet version.
I have been pushing for our company to move to another platform since I started working here nearly 3 years ago but unfortunately, it has become almost impossible with the amount of websites we have running through Duda at this point. I would need to abandon all responsibilities and focus every bit of my time to be able to transfer everything over to another platform properly which I simply can't afford to do.
For anyone looking to create a website or any agency looking for the best platform, avoid Duda at all costs. No matter what it is that's attracting you, I can promise you with no doubt in my mind that it will NOT be worth the trouble this platform will cause you in the long run.
Now speaking to Duda directly. You have ridiculously lazy and incompetent development. How you can continuously get things so wrong and blatantly ignore the obvious downfalls in your platform tells me you're either not capable of making improvements or simply don't care. There is absolutely no merit in trying to claim ignorance, I have read other reviews, and I have many, many, many times spoken to your team to make improvements and if anything it just gets worse.
Duda is a joke!
Duda is a joke. Name a website builder that doesn't support 2FA/MFA for its paying customers? I'll tell you, it's DUDA.
Their website builder is always lagging, has bad performance overall, it doesn't work well with other plugins, and their widgets are completely outdated.
I would not recommend it!
INFINITE STARZ
Your site is not your own site , you cannot migrate -EVER
I've been with Duda for 3 years now,
then they took away their chat function without telling anyone!
Still charged the same amount for the team plan!
330 a year plus website costs at the time I had 10 websites on there so another 150 pm
and tried to cancel ...
To downgrade to a monthly package per site
1 - they don't update their DNS records automatically, my site is down for the whole weekend
no support for new customers over the weekend, at all
then when id had enough, they only allowed you to export your site if you had the agency package
Good Luck Duda
absolute scam
I now have to carry on paying for a monthly subscription, the site is not live and i will be have to rebuild the site page for page on WordPress
Marvellous Duda, great job of backing me into a corner and then not allowing you to leave,
It's my site why can I not export it on any package
Sold a team plan, changed to a not team plan without notice
and
your site is not your site
i thought about giving it a 2 where it…
i thought about giving it a 2 where it worked at first and got me happy but it keeps changing things without my doing and now i'm stuck with them i have lost out on so many hours i don't want 2 start again.
