Absolutely appalling customer service.
Due to a bereavement in my boyfriend’s immediate family, he had to travel overseas for a funeral before our booking. I contacted the hotel in to request a date change—not a refund- as this was something completely outside of my control—but was refused with no flexibility or understanding.
I then submitted a formal complaint after staying at the hotel by myself. This has effectively been ignored—I was told it would be passed to head office, and have received no response since.
To make matters worse, the stay itself fell below expectations. Basic touches were missing from the suite, and the breakfast was of a poor standard.
The hotel may look nice, but the complete lack of compassion, poor communication, and failure to address complaints speaks volumes. I would not recommend staying here
