DRTC Maritime courses / ECDIS
I needed to do ECDIS urgently before joining ship.
No schools were running one at the time I needed, then I remembered DRTC where I did my STCW refreshers in 2022, and how good the facilities and quality of instruction were.
I called them on the Thursday morning, in the afternoon they told me they had organised a one on one ECDIS for me starting the following Monday!
The course teachers were Master Mariners who delivered an excellent course with top class simulators and facilities.
Patient with questions and extremely generous with their knowledge about collision avoidance techniques, I got so much more out of the course than just ECDIS.
The school organises an excellent local hotel and I strongly reccomend DRTC for all STCW courses and refreshers.
I will certainly return for my next courses and thoroughly recommend this top class school.
