Bad experience

Recieved no information about the process and what is going to happen during this first meeting. When I tried to find smth out the doctor said that she was not an orthodontist and just does the scan...
The doctor was hardly coping with her task. And she demonstrated it clearly. It took an hour for her to make photos and scan. Poor experience.

Extremely long waiting time for…

Extremely long waiting time for aligners.
I find taking pictures a waste of time, I did it every week, but why actually? In the end it didn't work and no one noticed that on the go.
I don't know even know if it will work now.

Taking pictures in the app is essential to supervise the treatment process. This way, we can react when treatment is not going according to plan. They offered on the beggining that they…

They offered on the beggining that they want 7800 for whole service including only treatment for the top part. Which I treat like a big joke when only one teeth required change. After two weeks they offered less price 5300 which was reasonable price. I agreed on this offer. After two months i received another invoice on another 1500 zł. IT wasnt mentioned during consultation. The consultant was making huge pressure to make quick decision. But i didn't decided for the first offer. On the seconda time she told me that 5300 Is the final price and theres nothing to worry about. Now i need to another 1500. Im pissed off. They are Chesters. I know other people who were treated like this.

I went about clear braces for teeth

I went about clear braces for teeth. I was told that the check is free and I received an e-mail. A cargo was sent to me without my consent. I did not approve or accept any payment. And they stated that they billed me unfairly. How dare you bill on my behalf? Deceiving people and taking their money shows that you are not faithful to your Doctorate oath. When I said that I canceled and my data will be deleted, they said they would not delete it. Don't let it fool you. I will go to court.

During your conversation with our specialist, you did not decide to purchase aligners, however, the plan was accepted by you online 10.08.2022. When accepting the plan, the message "I confirm with obligation to pay" is displayed to make sure that the patient consciously orders the aligners. We received a message from you wishing to cancel the purchase 7 days after the plan was confirmed, unfortunately this is too late for us to reverse the production of aligners. They are made once for each patient, so we cannot offer them to another patient, we are sorry for that. Greetings

Great idea, bad execution

I have been a client of Dr. Smile for over a month now, and I like the idea of self service teeth correction with minimum effort and time spent for dentist visits. However, Dr. smile has outsourced customer service, payment, and what not to other companies that don't communicate with each other. I have had a few stressful situations when I was asked repeatedly to pay for something that I did not order just because customer service did not inform the payment company. I am very worried about how my one visit from my plan at a dentist will end up, I really hope this will work ok.

Looked good, but for now is not.

I haven't started the treatment yet, but I've already received my aligners. I've started my installment payments for aligners, but I received the additional invoice for 1999 PLN for consultation that I haven't had at all.
Moreover, we agreed to the payment for a retainer at the end of the treatment, not before. I'm scared that Dr Smile will keep issuing invoices to me without an explanation (long waiting for their support) or not considering our initial agreements. Their ads look perfect, but the reality isn't that good. For now, I don't recommend Dr Smile services.

The invoice should be issued at the end of treatment, so if you received an invoice ahead of time, they will be canceled. We are sorry that you did not contact us to clarify this matter, and we could not reach you. We will contact you again to cancel the retainer invoice if you would like to pay it later. Once again, we apologize for the confusion and hope that your treatment goes as you expect.

I don't recommend them

I don't recommend them. The first treatment plan was sent within 2 weeks, a set came a week later and I was happy. But because of the unsuitable upper retainer, my gums began to bleed. I sent the photo to the support service and was sent for an examination and a second 3d picture. It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't received a new treatment plan. No one answers the phone, I am very dissatisfied with this attitude and approach to me as a patient. I want to return the money for the treatment, which is still missing and I am ready to return the whole set back. For that kind of money, it's a complete disappointment. It is better to install braces and go to a consultation with a doctor who will be in touch with you.

Everything is perfect

Everything is perfect. I'm on 3rd step (from 10) and the effect is amazing. I can't wait till the end :)

Outcome of the visit

I DO NOT RECOMMENT DR SMILE. SCAM SERVICE

I DO NOT RECOMMENT DR SMILE IN POLAND.
Now, after going through the entire proceed - I understand that I could save the money and go to the actual doctor's office to order better treatment plan and be constantly monitored by the professionals with the medical degree. If you choose Dr smile - you are on your own with the app that doesn't work too well.

1. Managers are very pushy about start of the treatment. I was told I have 1 week to decide, otherwise my 3D plan will be erased from the system. Then I received a call asking for my address to ship the package to me even though I was not 100% sure yet I want it.
2. First time I went to doctor's office I informed them via phone that I can only speak English, I was assured that I will be consulted in English. However when I arrived - my doctor didn't speak English too well. I understand polish a bit, but I prefer English to be sure. Doctor spoke mostly polish to me and I was answering in English. I remember asking if I need to see doctor again to understand if teeth straightening is fully remove process or I need to go to the doctor same way as wearing braces. I was told that there is no need to go to the doctor while straightening teeth. The only time I would need to go is optional before starting the treatment - to do the hygiene.
3. The product is not a very good quality. Very hard to wear each one for 2 weeks because it wears off to easy, starts smelling and eventually gets dental plaque on it. I had to buy and use corega tabs to get rid of plaque (I brush, floss my teeth 3-4 times a day and it still happens because we are humans). Retainers are not too good of a quality - I would need to order a new set for sure (will order from a professional doctor this time).
4. App is pretty much useless - it is just a photogallery of your results. There is no database of really useful information and contacting support is difficult. If you experience the pain - they will tell you "it's a part of straightening"; if the liners don't fit you too well - they tell you "it will fit, use the chewies (rubber gum)
App often freezes, difficult to take pictures and it just takes space on your phone.
5. I am currently on 14/14 liners and I have to pay 2800USD (11000pln) for treatment
The problem is - my teeth did not straighten the way I was promised. Want to know why? Because the agent who originally assisted me and the doctor who did the 3D scan NEVER INFORMED ME THAT I NEED TO VISIT THE OFFICE TO PERFORM SOMETHING CALLED "IPC"
I never had a follow up call from the doctor, never had any alerts in the app or received information via email. However I received around 10 spam emails with the promo code to invite friends. 0 logic.
The instruction I received is in polish, there is no detailed information about the procedure IPR either. However there was a4 paper with cartoonish picture of my teeth and with small letters there is written "IPR (0.3 mm)" how am I supposed to know what it means? I don't have psychic powers!! This is the reason why my teeth are not fully straightened! They advise me now to pay additional 900PLN to start over.
6. CareCapital medical website to complete the payment is another story. Instead of sending you an email - they send you a physical letter, you need to scan the QR code to go to the website and register. Very weird experience. The letter I received was on polish, when you visit the website - it is in German. I informed multiple times that I do not speak Polish or German - nobody listened. Because I couldn't registered (don't speak German or Polish) I was told to call or email them to agree on payments. When I called - they don't speak English, the agent called me back another day; I sent an email and still haven't received a response. This entire experience is just a huge headache. Better just go to a dentist office and do now waste time or money!
I received one physical letter with one German bank IBAN asking me to pay - 11000PLN (full treatment price) and then I received another one asking to pay almost 3000PLN to another polish bank IBAN. Information is again in polish. I had to request a call back from English speaking agent to understand why 2 different bank accounts and why 2 different prices.
CONCLUSION: the entire process is just a game. Same as when you go to Ikea, buy furniture and then put it together on your own. Except for its your teeth! you need to be monitored by a professional when straightening your teeth because you can end up having muscle pain, migraine, incorrect bite and will be forced to start over and spend more time and money and most importantly- you can lose hope.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR SMILE, I am upset I have to pay 11000 when my results are only about 65% of what I was promised. I will never again order anything like this online.

1. Our treatment plan is available for one week, so our consultants want to confirm it with you by that date. Without your confirmation of the treatment plan, we will not send you aligners.
2. Unfortunately, not all of the doctors who work with us communicate in English and we cannot provide this. Our service is directed to Poland, but we make every effort to provide the best possible service to English speaking clients as well.
3. Aligners require very careful hygiene - removing them before every meal and drink other than water, and brushing your teeth after every meal. With proper care of the aligners, such effects as you describe should not occur.
4. Our application serves primarily to systematically publish the effects of treatment, so that the doctor can control the progress of treatment. We are constantly improving the app and trying to make it more useful.
5. You began treatment on October 30, 2021, and according to your treatment plan, you should be using 8th set of aligners, and complete your treatment in May. If you are currently finishing your treatment, this means that you are not adhering to the dates listed in your treatment plan. This is the main reason why your treatment has not been successful. Because we guarantee treatment satisfaction, if the results differ from the plan, we continue treatment at DR SMILE's expense. However, the patient has to follow recommendations in the treatment plan. In order to ensure that further treatment is effective, we invite you to come in for a rescan at a partner’s office and contact our customer service to determine your next steps.
