I have a power wheelchair and in 6 years living In Romsey I have never been able to find a company which has been able to take my wheelchair.i have always had to have a manual wheelchair in which I lost my independence until I found driving miss daisy and
Simon he was brilliant he enabled me to maintain my independents and he was able too put me completely at ease and I felt that could trust in him totally in all he was a very nice man and I would recommend to not Only those who have use to use a wheelchair but anyone who has difficulty walking

When my daughter's hospital appointment came through, we panicked as to how we were going to get there. Thankfully we were on Facebook at the right time to see a post promoting this service.

I emailed explaining our situation and Simon responded promptly in a caring, assuring manner that instantly made us feel we had found the right person.
Simon arrived on time with a smile on his face and settled us into the vehicle. He was attentive from start to finish and made us feel safe and calm.
Afterwards Simon was there to pick us up within minutes of notifying him we were ready and took us home.

What was an incredibly emotional appointment was made a positive experience by Simon who put us at ease, made us smile and laugh. It was like being driven by a best friend/family member.

If you or a relative ever need to be taken somewhere by someone reliable, professional, good humoured, patient and kind, then Simon (Driving Miss Daisy, Romsey) is your man.

Phil was on time ,polite caring and kind, arrived on time for my hospital appointment waited and brought us back home a stress free morning would recommend this service

It was a short notice booking due to health reasons.
My Driver was Louise from Hull. There was no rejection for being a wheelchair user. Nothing was too much, very good communication, explanation of the service and the price. The days requested could be accommodated.
My train was over an hour late, Louise kept in touch, said what would happen if train did not arrive before a certain time due to another booking, however would not leave me stranded at the train station, but would come back and take me to my final destination. Very friendly polite, chatty and most important a very safe driver. Arrived on time for the return journey home. I would definitely use Driving Miss Daisy in the future and would highly recommend this service.

Driving Miss Daisy Ealing West, accessible transport when you really need it. With very short notice to get my centenarian mother into a nursing home the following day, I set about in frenetic haste which necessitated a mode of transport that could both accommodate and provide a wheelchair for her journey. I searched the internet for a local company who met these requirements and was drawn to the catchy named provider Driving Miss Daisy. I got in contact with their Ealing West branch and spoke with the head honcho, Nick a charming man who was able at such short notice to accommodate my wishes and the next day he turned up punctually and settled my mother in a wheelchair in the back of his modified people carrier and delivered her in comfort to her destination. In the Latin phrase carpe diem quam minimum credula postero and the day was plucked from disaster.
It was a wonderful experience and the service provided by Nick, Ealing West was exemplary. Indubitably should I require accessible transport in the future for whatever reason I would not hesitate to contact Nick again. Try out Driving Miss Daisy for your transport needs and you won’t be disappointed.

Glyn from DMD in Lydney is amazing. From the moment I emailed an enquiry he was professional, helpful and downright wonderful. He supported my 95 year old Mother to my daughter’s wedding in Shropshire. He drove her there and back and stayed overnight just in case she wanted to go home early. Mum got on so well with him, on their 15/20 min ‘getting to know each other’ trip they toured the Forest of Dean for over an hour! Will definitely be calling Glyn to take Mum out again. Highly recommend

We asked for assistance with an end of life patient, desperate to get home. Andy from the Sutton Coldfield branch responded immediately and transferred the patient to his home with dignity and compassion and very quickly. What an amazing company who I will definitely recommend to any of our patients who may struggle with wheelchair transport.

Aiden from Birmingham North was superb today taking my wheelchair bound aunt to her husband’s funeral, then on to the wake and back home again. He was so flexible and willingly adjusted timings for the last part of the journey at short notice. Highly recommended.

Nigel from the Ipswich branch of DMD has driven my elderly mum, who has dementia, all over the South of England for several years. He is incredibly patient, always good humoured and extremely kind. My mum is now in a care home but if you need the services of DMD in the Suffolk area I cannot recommend Nigel more highly. He is wonderful.

I have been using Driving Miss Daisy’s services for the past couple of years.Joseph has regularly accompanied my disabled daughter to her various activities. I have absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Joseph (and Zoe!). He is kind, caring, 100% reliable and totally professional. We have employed Driving Miss Daisy in Milton Keynes for about 18 months. Joseph, the wonderful and reliable driver, has taken our mother suffering with vascular dementia to and from a day care centre twice a week safely. He established a trusted and kind relationship with my mum immediately with his friendly and helpful approach and very happy attitude. Mum loves his company and his service has been invaluable to me and our family in supporting us in mum’s care. I cannot recommend Joseph highly enough.

Joseph has been taking my sister to art classes and always makes every effort to help and reassure her when she feels anxious. Joseph from Milton Keynes highly recommended. Professional, kind, considerate, attentive, friendly. He picked my 81 year old Dad up from Southend and brought him back to Bucks for his only granddaughters wedding. Without Joseph he would not be able to get there. He was on time and so attentive to Dad. Thinking for him at times and being one step ahead. He made sure the family could enjoy their day and made sure Dad was in the right place at the right time. I cannot recommend this company enough - Aiden came to collect my 92 year old Uncle and take him to Little Aston Hospital on Saturday 7/1/23. From the minute he arrived to the minute he returned him back home safely, he was professional, extremely helpful, and very thoughtful of my Uncles mobility issues.

I would not hesitate to use them again, or to recommend them - excellent service.

Dear Christine drove my Mum for a two hour journey, in order to be in a care home nearer to me after my Dad died. She was so kind and patient.
The company are responsive,flexible and very reasonably priced. They offer transport for people with mobility or other special issues.
