Absolute disgrace of a company

Absolute disgrace of a company! My parents bought my son driving vouchers for Christmas and he was pretty nervous - when he finally booked some lessons the vouchers had expired by 8 days - and they refused to redeem them! Stay away from this company, absolutely shocking customer care and happy to profit from anxious teenagers.

Purchased driving vouchers for my son…

Purchased driving vouchers for my son for Christmas. No schools/instructors take them so not able to use them. I have contacted the company and initial response recieved and now nothing. Customer service is poor and no date of when voucher expires and no one contacting me back to discuss my concerns. Very poor

Useless

Useless, I was given one for Christmas and couldn't find a single instructor who would take them. I searched all over the city multiple times. The service isn't clear about how they work, and they aren't clear about the expiry date which really is a narrow window for something potentially so expensive.

A good experience

I found my experience with the driving lesson vouchers to be totally businesslike and acceptable in all facets.

Would not recommend this service

As much as my voucher states that it expires 6 months after the issue date, it still does not clearly state on which exact date this falls, with driving lessons being in high demand and difficult to arrange, this kind of ambiguity is not helpful. I requested that the money gets returned to the purchaser of the voucher as it was unclear on which exact date the voucher became invalid - this should be stated on the voucher for benefit of the receiver.

Customer service also has a low and slow response rate. Also, not worth putting trust into these guys to effectively communicate with instructors about their business model - they state within their own website that they cannot guarantee use of their vouchers on the instructor redemption end - which makes this feature somewhat redundant in nature.

As for redeeming on a learner end, they basically are expecting you to spend your own money first (without any real guarantee that it will be reimbursed) to obtain a receipt to use as evidence of a lesson purchase. This seems risky on the user end. I would not blindly trust my money with this type of business model and their imprecise/vague policies which leave the customer at a disadvantage.

Just give your loved one the money in an envelope and save putting your trust into a third-party.

Throughout 2022 I bought vouchers…

Throughout 2022 I bought vouchers totalling 500 pounds for my son .when I tried to redeem with instructors nobody had heard of these or would accept them. Instantly I was convinced I was scammed ! Upon speaking with a final instructor we wanted to test this scam so we tried to redeem a voucher but used my bank details as the instructor was hesitant. I was informed this voucher was suspended. I cashed in the remaining vouchers but I had to pay cash to the school and redeem via receipts, this worked cash was back in the bank .
Now they are ignoring my messages about this last voucher worth 150 pounds ,they have the receipt but won't give MY money back to me .no number on their website but I found one after some digging . Spoke to a woman who refused to help me over the phone or pass me to someone who could help me .
Be wary of this company they are incompetent and unprofessional, do not use them

May as well burn your money

Bought a £250 voucher for my sons 17th. As with other reviewers no driving instructor seem to have heard of it or know how to redeem them. Refused a refund as 30 days had expired, silly me buying it in advance of his birthday thus invalidating my right to refund. Read the small print as they also only last 10 months from issue & are sent to you digitally to print off rather than as a physical voucher. As someone without a printer this caused some difficulties. So if you want to waste your money & disappoint the recipient then I highly recommend this company. Don’t believe the reviews on their own website as I went to leave one only to find there was no option to do so, so wonder where all the 5 star reviews on there come from?

Bit of an update, I had paid with PayPal so raised a dispute. This company told me if I did that the voucher would be unredeemable & the funds put on hold until resolved. Long story short PayPal found in my favour & refunded me so the company obviously weren’t able to come up with credible reasoning.
