I passed my driving test today (on my 3rd attempt 😅), and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without my instructor, Ali Adnan!

From day one, Ali has been incredibly patient, supportive, and understanding. There were times when I was really nervous — especially with things like parking (I may have even had a few emotional moments over it 🙈), but he never once lost patience. Instead, he kept encouraging me, breaking things down step by step, and helping me build my confidence.

What really stood out was how clearly he explains everything. He always had his book/notepad ready to go through mistakes, explain how to improve, and even help me understand why things are done a certain way on the road. That made a huge difference, especially as I was getting used to driving habits in the UK.

He’s not only very knowledgeable, but also kind, friendly, and genuinely invested in his students doing well. He makes sure to highlight what you’re doing right as well, which really helps keep you motivated.

Genuinely the best instructor I could have asked for. Highly recommend him and the academy!

ali is a very nice and patient instructor. It was one of my best memory driving with him:). I passed my test at my first go!

Very disappointing experience. This instructor was extremely intimidating and frequently shouted at my daughter during lessons. Instead of creating a supportive learning environment, he made her feel anxious and uncomfortable. This is not how a learner driver should be treated. I would not recommend him to anyone — a complete waste of time and money.

Ali is an amazing instructor, super patient and easy to talk to and ask questions. He made everything feel simple by breaking it down and helped me pass. Appreciate his support and calm teaching. Great instructor!

Honestly cannot thank Ali enough, I never thought I would be able to drive and he has guided me to become a safe and confident driver. He’s extremely patient and knowledgeable, as well as kind. He made so much of a difference to my learning journey! Will 100000% recommend!

I tried quite a lot of different driving instructors but eventually found Ali, and he was by far the best instructor I've ever had! He was so lovely and patient, and explained things in a way that made me understand. Now I've passed my test with only 1 minor and it's down to him! 100% recommend Driving Arts Academy!

I had the best experience with the Driving Arts Academy and with my instructor Ali! I started learning at the end of May and passed yesterday. I was extremely nervous to start driving but Ali is the calmest most patient instructor and that allowed me to follow with ease. I’m over the moon to have passed but also feel sad that I won’t see my friend every week now, that’s how great it was to be taught by Ali. I will be forever grateful and will miss our classical music driving lessons. I highly highly recommend the academy and Ali. Thank you so much !!!!!

Ismail is an excellent driving instructor. He clearly explains the rules and their reasoning, making everything easy to understand. Thanks to his lessons, I was able to pass my exam. I highly recommend him and would give him 5 stars!

Ali is the best driving instructor, a very patient, motivator and advisor, I strongly recommend starting your lessons with him without any hesitation.

I had an amazing experience. Ali was my driver and he helped me build confidence in driving on the left side and get adjusted to UK roads as well as learn all the laws and was able to pass my tests in flying colors! Thank you!

Excellent instructor. Was able to pass first time with him. Would highly recommend to any one wanting to learn how to drive.

My instructor was Ali and he was absolutely amazing with me. Was perfectly able to gauge my abilities as I drive in my home country and he was able to guide me perfectly. Within a few classes with him my confidence level shot up, something I absolutely think helped me passed the test.

I would strongly reckon Ismail as your priority while you’re preparing for practical driving test. Have to admit I was a fast manual driver and after being instructed by Ismail, I realized there’s always lot to concern about whilst hitting the road: I thought I was a good observer and knew
all manoeuvres, well I was, but not enough. He taught me to do all these things in a gentle way and I just followed his advice. Trust the process, I passed my practical on Sep 13th with 0 minor which is my first attempt. Again thank you Ishmail for everything !

Ali is an exceptional instructor who helped me master the skill from a complete novice who has never sat behind the wheel to someone who is now confident to take the roads. With his guidance and techniques, I passed my exam in the first attempt with oy 2 minor faults. I would definitely recommend him.

Ali is an exceptional driving instructor. He is an excellent teacher, using multiple different methods and reference points to tailor the teaching to student learning style. He is also gentle, patient and kind and truly cares about helping his students. I took up lessons with the narrative in my head that I ‘was not a driver’ having given up as a teenager. I left my first lesson feeling both immense relief that I was in safe hands, and with a new clear awareness that in fact I was a driver and I would be able to learn to do it with Ali! I passed with 2 minors :)
