Absolute rubbish online application for driving licence renewal
I renewed my driving licence online, after setting up a Driver and Vehicle account. Then my husband tried. To begin with (as we share the same email address) it kept bringing up my details, even though I had logged out of the account. He then tried with another email address and once the home address was confirmed it brought up my details again - including my passport photo. Absolute rubbish website, does not allow for the possibility that two married people, living at the same property, wish to renew their licence at the same time.

Really poor service renewed mu licence then my wife tried and keeps on saying unable to renew when trying to create account. Why do government websites always create challenges nothing is easy this should be the simplest thing to do. Makes it even harder when giving no explanation on why.

Helped my partner to renew her DL
Helped my partner to renew her DL. She had tried about 4 times and every time her details wasn't recognised! It's a BETA site so problems are expected but, come on! This is a government website and only left both of us frustrated as neither of us could renew after 5 attempts now. Four on a mobile and once on a laptop. Now this is meant to be a simple and easy process but it's not! My partner now has to wait for a paper form D1 from DVLA so lets hope this will work as opposed to the website.

Shocking how backwards this online…
Shocking how backwards this online process is, I don't understand how new passports are not being recognised online and the process is not simple at all.
I was advised by customer services to complete a form that was sent to my house. I was advised that I'd need to get a photo done too. This process did not work, I was then advised by customer service that I'll need to go into the post office and I can use the photo that I've already had taken for this renewal. Got to the post office and I had to take another photo an additional cost to what I've already spent and on top of that I was not expecting to take a photo and had to make do with what ever the post office had taken.
This experience cost me time and in total £30. You'll have a lot of people driving without valid licence as your process is not streamlined.
If I could 0 stats I would.

There should be a ‘no’ stars option
There should be a ‘no’ stars option. Many frustrated attempts to renew on-line met with ‘unable to confirm ID’. Yes, the entry details were correct, and yes my passport is valid (renewed Sept). Impossible to talk to anyone in support. Eventually discovered the system will not accept new passport signatures, something the DVLA have known for some time. Why isn’t this made clear on the DVLA website?

Not honest and upfront with the service.
I honestly thought I was dealing with the gov website (longtime sconce my driving license application).
They take £89 every 90 days for nothing. I did not ask for their service and they do not let you know they will be taking it either so you could cancel after realising they are legally scamming you for money for nothing.
Stay away. I request a refund but I still waiting. £89 in these times is a lot of money to be taken twice.

This company is a con, I realised after doing my licence with them which I did receive, but then they take £89 subscription which I didn't read before doing it, so two months ago I had bank block after first payment went out and got a new card, but yet again 29th September they have managed to take another £89, impossible you would think but they did, very angry right now

7 weeks later and still not received…
7 weeks later and still not received provisional licence . Had to get a refund from my credit card company for £89 subscription that I did not require . Licence never arrived and now company saying they can’t look into it / issue it / refund the licence fee as I’m no longer subscribed . Who would pay £89 a month for them to sort out a query ?? I’m now awaiting £34 refund for licence from my credit card company as failure to receive paid for goods . They were happy to refund as funnily enough they knew all about this company. I’m guessing I’m not the only one that thinks it’s a complete ( legal ) scam.

Not a scam but not honest at outset
So.. while I thought I was on the .gov website i sent all my details etc over. At the end it then showed this occurring £86 fee after 3days free trial.
I tried to cancel - via policy which showed a form that could not be completed and no way of sending such. As such I contacted my bank and cancelled my card to stop this process. Now - I did pay the extra £10 to have my renewal completed and delivered in 2 days. Which i am happy to say arrived promptly. This third party did deliver honestly. If they just displayed their subscriptions services ahead and honestly they would have got a 5. safe to say - not a scam as such, due to delivering on the licence renewal process as stated.

I thought I was on the DVLA website
I thought I was on the DVLA website, total rip off. They charge you to just submit the forms that you've already filled out. Making the process LONGER and more expensive. They don't mention they're nothing to do with the gov website until AFTER you've paid. They also try to take an additional £80 for a year subscription. I tried to get a refund but apparently too late they'd already clicked a button for a fee, that's all they do.

Be very careful when renewing your driving licence not to use this website. They charge £89 after 3 days which is NOT clear when you complete all the information. Lucky for me I realised before they stole any money from me! I have called the bank to block any payments to this theiving company and also ordered a new card aswell as sent an email to them informing that I wish to cancel and they are not authorised to take any money from my account. The bank said people usually receive the driving license but if not they will raise a dispute with the company if I don’t receive it within 15 days 🖕
