terrible customer service
Raised a concern with them on the 15th of December and to date they have not even bothered to acknowledge these concerns after promises Michael Porter would be in touch looking at the below reviews looks like I am unlikely to hear from him without raising this higher shame considering his title his head of block management perhaps he needs to re assess his work load so he can manage his time better. Taken the initial route of a sars request to show the lack of communication perhaps with the sars being provided and this review they will have the courtesy to reply.
Terrible
Terrible communication. Very unprofessional, rude and untrustworthy. Cannot wait for new management, these guys, Michael Porter especially who ignores emails and phone calls, also fails to keep to his word. Terrible man.
False Pretences of Quality Service
Simon, the agent who initially met with us to discuss putting our flat on the market, was very impressive and sympathetic to our needs. If only we had been allowed to work with him throughout the sale! Unfortunately we hardly spoke to him after that.
Instead a colleague of his, Jason, took over the job. From that point onwards, we were constantly patronised, told what was best for us, and made to feel entirely misunderstood as the clients.
We chose a team that’s represented by someone helpful and reliable. We were sold a service under false pretences.
Welcome to the Zoo
I was blessed by the fact that the clown with whom I had an appointment didn't show up, before reading the absolute s-storm this agency is. Absolute appalling communication by people that are supposed to do this stuff as a daily job (not for long, I am sure).
What a complete joke this company is…
What a complete joke this company is when it comes to managing an apartment block in Basingstoke.
You would not believe that I had raised 4 complaints in the past at high level only to return to the building after tenant complaints to see the images attached.
We are all being charged nearly £500 per quarter for no services to maintain a block of over 54 apartments.
1) Grass not cut for at least 4 months
2) Cleaners who just hoover and do nothing else
3) Car park full of litter, rubbish and overgrown
4) Weeds everywhere in the beds, car park and all around the site.
5) Bin store designed so open access to anyone (including a new block behind) who think it is OK to dump sofas/BBQ's and anything else.
6) Internally the place smells dirty, carpets heavily stained and walls in bad need of painting. Cobwebs everywhere.
7) Lack of communication from Drivers and Norris who are appointed apparently by the freeholder to manage the block. They think its acceptable to be abrupt to us when we raise the clear issues over the block and lack of management.
8) Scaffolding put up weeks ago, blocking the view to many residents. No work has been carried out since it went up and no one informs anyone what is happening.
Overall I understand that companies can get things wrong when they have a lot to deal with. Having involved my MP in the past and escalated to a high level I had hoped things would be much better. Tenant now leaving, unable to re-let as other comparable properties are much better looked after (especially the new one now directly behind this block). My advise is use a proper respected managing agent and not Drivers and Norris. If the freeholder is reading this, shame on you for allowing investors to put money into a block and allow a cowboy company to run it. We are now stuck, not able to sell, let with endless complaints from the residents who are contracted to reside here.
worst 12 months of my life.
Don't rent a house with them, they will make your life a living hell. A bunch of unprofessional liars. They will pretend everything is fine and greet you with a smile, but in reality, they are waiting for any opportunity to take your money and will never listen to you. I would report them and take them to court (believe me I have enough evidence) but I just want to forget about it and move on.
Appalling communications and service
We have had a dreadful, and still ongoing experience in attempting to get the deposit back on a flat we rented for the past year. The service and communications has been nothing short of disgraceful with emails and phone calls regularly going unanswered for days or even at all. They need to be badgered and chased to even get basic answers to basic questions. The charges still under dispute are bogus and flimsy, yet they are staling on helping us redress them properly. They appear to be doing all they can to hold on to our money as long as possible. I wouldn't wish dealing with them on my worst enemy
Disgrace of a company.
Disgrace of a company.
Extortionate service charges for "property management" when the block we live in is an embarrassment.
1. Garden overgrown.
2. Front steps falling apart and a major trip hazard. It has been weeks now and all they have done is put some red and white tape down. Bravo.
3. Cleaning communal areas is hovering only.
4. Water damage to internal apartments caused by the building structure. Reported in November 2020 and still waiting on a response/repairs.
5. No response to any emails or phone calls by the residents.
It's gotten so bad, the homeowners are getting together to call for a tribunal.
Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. My daughter who suffers with mental health is renting a shoebox property for a large amount of money in London. Since Feb, she has not been able to use the shower due to overflow of water. Agent advised that she use the kitchen sink to wash. It is now June and they still have not fixed the shower but worse still the toilet pipe work which we assume is linked to the shower is also over flowing. The toilet cannot be used. It is blocked. Sewage water every where. My daughter had called and left urgent messages but no response. They are unprofessional and we are now in the processing of contacting authorities to report.
Most impolite agent we have ever known
We had a commercial view today. Ben was the person work on phone with us but we met Kirill on the view appointment. He is most impolite guy ever we have seen in 15 years doing business.
Poor the landlord, now we know why the listing stay there for long although the location is good.
Very Good Experience
We had a very good experience with Drivers and Norris.Simon Etson was very supportive and helped us throughout the whole buying process. Without his support and guidance it would not have been easy for us to buy the property. We highly recommend their services.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience, I couldn’t be any more frustrated with it!
They constantly need to be chased, they hide and add fees as they feel, never missed a payment and before leaving when asked for a referral Hannah was quick to refuse to do it. Called and emailed many times to understand why, it was related to being tied to the contract. Instead of explaining and working with us to help on this, they simply refused. After a month I had to get the referral from the landlord!! Terrible
Responsive, honest, professional agency who care about tenants
John from Drivers & Norris has been incredibly helpful and worked tirelessly to help us find a new flat. We really appreciate how responsive John was throughout the process, and how he arranged viewings so promptly. Moreover, he strove to understand our needs and picked out some brilliant properties for us to view. Our experience with Drivers & Norris has been a wholly positive one - they are professionals who care about tenants as well as landlords.
