I was diagnosed with GTPS and was frustrated by the lack of real help from the NHS, I decided to try Dr Helen. I was so glad that I did. Dr Boreham had read my notes before the consultation and spent time carefully examining me to confirm the diagnosis. When discussing pain treatment, she took time to properly understand what was bothering me before covering the available options, fully describing the benefits and side effects. We eventually agreed on a pain relief plan that required a drug that the NHS would not prescribe. This has worked remarkably well, and I've been able to stop taking Zapain and Ibuprofen. This new medication has been transformational and lets me get on with my life, whilst my injury recovers. I would have no hesitation in using Dr Helen again.

It was good to have the time to discuss all my concerns with my health so 1/2 hour appt gives the flexibility to do that. I felt that Dr Lyndsey drew a lot of strands together by the time we had finished.

I had never had a private GP consultation before and there is now no going back. I was given a 30 minute face to face appointment to discuss all my concerns. I felt seen as a whole person. Would highly recommend.

Dr Amanda gave us amazing care for my daughter (21 years) she spent a lot of time understanding exactly the issues and situations, that my daughter is experiencing.

The service can initially feel expensive, but the reality is that we got a very detailed assessment and tests along with very helpful and understandable explanations, sadly my daughter was not eligible for NHS referral despite needing and being prescribed Epi pens. However, I do not believe the NHS would have been able to provide the very high level and quality assessment in one visit.

Amanda was very kind and caring but most importantly very good clinician with all the specialist knowledge and skills to assess and describe what my daughter needs to do to manage her life rather than 'limit' her life. We received a very helpful follow up letter, 2 days later. We will have follow up on a short video call.

If you have any doubts, just book an appointment and make the effort to travel there, we are in Bristol definitely worth making the effort.

I used the GP service, very kind, knowledgeable and helpful and seen quickly and given good advice. Very fortunate to have this facility almost on my doorstep, will definitely use again. Thank you Dr Helen Medical.

My father was made to feel very welcome and the doctor took time to listen to him while he explained a long list of issues he has been having. Blood tests were taken at the same appointment with results being delivered to us by email within 48 hours and a follow up appointment has already been booked. We will be using the service again. Five star service.

I saw Dr Frampton at Dr Helen Medical for advice on an ENT matter.I had a very helpful consultation in pleasant calm surroundings . I would use this private facility again.

Brilliant service, our doctor was really curious about my son's allergy and offered many pointers to what we need to do next. We got a prescription for the eurneffy and lots of additional paperwork for the hospital and for travelling with allergies. Definitely recommend for other families that are looking for support with allergies and management.

I had two appointments here and whilst I found Dr Boreham to be very kind and understanding, I had to wait over a month for a referral letter which only got sent because I chased it up. I wasn't even offered an apology for it being overlooked. I'm really very disappointed and quite upset with this level of service and really expected better given that I am paying quite a price for these appointments. I've had difficulty being taken seriously within the NHS and now I feel the same here.

We had an excellent experience with an appointment and follow-up with ENT surgeon Mr Frampton for our son. Mr Frampton went out of his way to give us a follow-up call outside of his clinic hours when we were concerned he wasn't improving. Our sons ear is now better and we feel thoroughly reassured- thank you!

It’s been a long time since a GP has listened and been so empathetic, making me feel valued as a human being and not making me feel old a past it, that said I am only 57 years old.
It was lovely not to feel rushed and not to be told that I couldn’t discuss more than one problem. All in all I would throughly recommend and I’m high likely to use this service again the future.

Received quick appointment for a consultation, Dr Lyndsey Boreham was very reassuring. She carried out examination, blood tests and supplied results and diagnosis the next day. Also supplied prescription for necessary medication at the same time. Perfect.

As I couldn't be seen by my own NHS doctor for 10 days I found Dr Helens Web site and gave them a ring and I was so amazed that I could be seen either the same day or the very next day .
I saw Dr Lexi who is a very friendly and charming person.She put my mind at rest with a thorough physical going over on my very painful knee .She diagnosed a Meniscus tear and suggested home treatment and gave me a prescription for painkillers and excersises to do at home .
