If you're looking for a top-tier dental experience in Istanbul, Dr. Go Smile is the place to go. I can’t recommend them enough!

From the start, the customer service was incredible—they are super attentive and always get back to you with a fast response, which made the whole process stress-free. The clinic itself is clean, modern, and feels very high-end, and the entire staff including your personal translators is super helpful and welcoming.

The star of the show is definitely Dr. Baris. He is an amazing, skilled doctor who really knows his craft. He deserves to be called the Michelangelo/ Leonardo Da Vinci of cosmetic dentistry.
I also really appreciated their honest pricing; they actually keep their promises and don't hit you with hidden fees, which can be hard to find.

On top of the amazing dental work, they arranged the most convenient accommodations, making the entire trip seamless. If you’re considering dental work in Turkey, I would fully recommend Dr. Baris and his team!

My wife and I are U.S. citizens, and everything written here is entirely true and verifiable. As a Muslim, honesty is a sacred obligation for me, so this review is sincere and without exaggeration.

Our experience with DrGo Dental Clinic began in May of last year, when we traveled to Istanbul for implant surgery performed by Dr. Erdoğan. The procedure went well and gave us confidence in the clinic.
We returned again in December of the same year for the crown placement. Unfortunately, that stage took longer than expected, and we had to stay in Istanbul for an additional three weeks.

After returning to the United States, we noticed several issues with the crowns — some immediately, others gradually over time. Out of respect, I will not mention the name of the original dentist, though I hope he reads this review and uses it for professional development. As a person he was kind, but the work did not meet the level we expected.

When we contacted the clinic with our concerns, they responded with honesty, humility, and complete professionalism.
They
✔ promised to correct all mistakes,
✔ redo all crown work at no cost,
✔ and fully cover our hotel stay until treatment was completed.
They fulfilled every promise exactly as stated.

Approximately 10.5 months later, we returned to Istanbul for the corrective treatment.

This time, our experience was guided by the new manager, Hamza. I sincerely want to acknowledge him: he is energetic, intelligent, analytical, honest, solution-oriented, and truly committed to patient satisfaction. Most importantly, his word can be trusted — a rare quality. His English is excellent, and he managed everything with attention and professionalism.

The doctors who truly transformed our situation were
Dr. Kübra Karahüseyin and her husband Shahin, both specialists in crowns and restorative dentistry.
They may also be great implantologists — I simply do not know, because our implants were done by another surgeon.

Dear readers, please understand something important:
Implant surgery matters, but the true artistry, beauty, comfort, and long-term success come from the crowns.
This requires precision, aesthetics, and high-level skill.

In Dr. Kübra, we saw a real virtuoso. Shahin is equally skilled — possibly even more — but we were especially touched by Dr. Kübra’s warm smile, gentle manner, and attention to every detail.

I swear by Allah — they are masters of the highest class.

With Dr. Kübra’s guidance and Hamza’s support, the clinic redid all previous work from scratch.
New abutments were placed and completely new, high-quality crowns were made.
All treatment was completed within two weeks, and during this time
the clinic fully covered our hotel stay.

The results were outstanding:
• My bite and oral structure now feel natural, comfortable, and balanced.
• My wife’s facial aesthetics improved beautifully; her lips gained natural support and harmony.
• All crowns were placed using screw-retained systems, not cement, making future maintenance simple and professional.
• My wife now feels much more comfortable, and her crowns look extremely natural — even more beautiful than before.

To summarize this doctor couple:
Everything their hands touch becomes something exceptional — in our culture, such gifted hands are called “diamond touch.”
Their work truly resembles the precision and finesse of a master polishing diamonds.

I also sincerely thank Roza and Lili, who helped us with translations and many practical matters.

And I want to clearly say this:
I will write an honest follow-up update in 6–7 months — whether positive or negative — exactly as it is.

I had 20 veneers placed by Dr. Akin at the GoSmile Clinic, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The quality of the work was substandard. Dr. Akin filed down my natural teeth excessively, which has left some of them permanently sensitive. One veneer has a visible gap between the tooth and the veneer, many were over-cemented, causing constant pressure and discomfort, and several teeth were bonded together—likely because no proper isolation technique was used during the procedure.

As a result, I had to spend a significant amount of money at another, more reputable dental clinic to fix the damage. I informed GoSmile immediately after the treatment that I needed corrective work, but they did not offer any form of refund or even a partial discount, which I believe would have been the least they could do given the poor outcome.

Even more concerning were Dr. Akin’s responses when I raised these issues. When I first noticed the problems—right after the veneers were placed—and brought them to his attention, he dismissed my concerns and told me it was “too early” to have my teeth assessed by another dentist. That statement alone was a red flag. Despite his advice, I did seek a second opinion, as my teeth were clearly in poor condition. I couldn’t floss between many of them, and if left untreated, this could have led to gum inflammation and eventually periodontal disease.

At the second clinic, the dental professionals were shocked by the quality of the work. They couldn’t even determine whether I had received veneers or dental bridges, due to how many of the teeth were fused together. When I reported this back to Dr. Akin and the GoSmile Clinic, instead of taking responsibility, offering an apology, or suggesting a refund, Dr. Akin defensively stated, “European doctors hate Turkish doctors.” That comment was not only unprofessional but entirely irrelevant. I was simply asking for accountability for a job poorly done.

It’s also worth mentioning that GoSmile shares photos of veneers before the final cementation. While they may claim this is standard practice, it conveniently conceals the final result, which in my case was far from acceptable.

Considering the severity of my experience—and the fact that GoSmile is not even among the more affordable clinics—I strongly advise others to avoid this clinic for veneer treatments. I paid a high price both financially and in terms of my dental health. And despite the corrective work, my teeth are still far from ideal, as the only real solution now would be to remove and replace all the veneers entirely.

I went to visit a Dr Go Smile Office in Turkey back in February 2025. I was getting other surgery done in Turkey and the Hair Clinic Recommended them. They set me up with a Dr Akin Ozdemir who works for Dr Go Smile Office. I had to pay cash, American dollars. He was replacing 18 of my teeth with crowns. I remember saying to him when it was all done and the crowns were on that it felt like my bite was off. He assured me it wasn’t. 3 weeks after the dental work, the crowns started chipping and coming off; some just little chips, some whole chunks. I went to 2 dentists here in the US and they both confirmed my bite was off and that my teeth didn’t match up when I bit down. I reached out to DR Go Smile Office and their only solution for me was for me to get back on a plane and let them do it over again. I explained the plane ticket would cost me $1,500, not to mention it was a 15 hour flight and I would miss days of work. I requested they have their lab redo the top front 6 crowns and mail them to me so I could have a dentist here fix them and it not cost me thousands. They told the dentist I dealt with no longer worked there, (big surprise) they couldn’t find me in the system and I was SOL. I have had to have 4 crowns redone here in the US so far and I’m sure there’s more to come. This company doesn’t stand by the dentists work that are employed by them and doesn’t assume responsibility for their mistakes. What I requested, considering the situation and the poor work that was performed, wasn’t big and I was denied.

I had two visits to Dr. Akin Ozdemir for treatment of dental canals and the coordinator was Anastasia. I went to Turkey from Czech Republic especially for this purpose.

At the first visit they left a part of the instrument in my jaw tissue (I didn't know it yet), but they (doctor, assistant and coordinator) knew everything because they had x-rayed me at the beginning and end of the first visit where they could see it very well. Of course they didn't tell me anything, perhaps they hoped that they would be able to extract it at the second appointment when they would treat the tooth.
Then at the second visit I continued the "treatment", they said everything is fine, the tooth is cured and healthy, they brazenly lied to me and smiled falsely with the whole team and said goodbye. The end. Not a word about the fact that I had part of the instrument in me (apparently they hoped that it would take root and would not make itself known).

However, three months later I felt a terrible pain and went to the dentist in my country, where I had an X-ray, they said that the treatment was done terribly, there was an infection under the tooth and they left me an instrument as a gift (this is where I found out about it), and then I remembered that Anastasia sent an X-ray at the end of the first appointment where the instrument is perfectly visible (she had not yet been told that the doctor had left the instrument there). Here I realized all their deception and that the smiles were fake.

The tooth is not subject to reendodotic treatment, the success rate of removing the instrument by a microapical surgeon is also small, so I was offered only to extract the tooth after many consultations in the hope of saving it.

They did not admit guilt, did not apologize, the only thing is that they offered to put a free implant, thank you, but this clinic I would not wish my enemy.

I've already had that tooth extracted. I will put the implant in my own country. This is how I was "treated" in this "clinic".

Zero professionalism, deceit, insolence and a deceitful smile are the characteristics of this clinic.

Visit includes a 5 night stay in a beautiful and spacious Marriot apartment hotel plus airport transfers and my Coordinator was Timmy, he was very friendly and professional in managing and aranging the entire trip and caring for all my needs from start to finish.
My teeth was very sensitive after first visit, then I returned 3 months later to complete the installation of the implants. On this second visit I've made changes and removed and replaced 4 veneers because they looked a bit transparent, maybe the cement from the first job was embedded so the dentist changed them and I am so happy.
It's good to know that the dentist can remove veneers and replace new ones if you are not happy.
I no longer feel sensitivity and I was able to eat and drink the same day without pain or discomfort. Also the shaving of the teeth was not that frightening and that was my biggest concern but I am very impressed that the shaving was minimal
I am 100% happy with treatment and results.

in Los Angeles. Dr. Akin and staff treated me great! I’m excited, I’ll be making my second trip to Turkey again, Soon to finish my procedure.

I am absolutely delighted with the organization of Anastasia and my doctor :) They removed my old veneers without any problems, treated my teeth, prepared and installed new ones. Highly recommend this clinic for all dental procedures. They have specialists who take care of your specific need and not a jack of all trades type of situation. They take x rays frequently to ensure that the work is done correctly. They also understand that majority of people visiting are nervous and therefore do their best to make you feel comfortable. Michael Karim made the whole process seamless and ensured that you felt understood and catered for. The location was amazing as well so is the proximity to the clinic. Highly highly recommend!
