Terrible Customer Service – Never Again
Still no reply from Dreamland! They have no balls!
I just visited Dreamland Almere with my two youngest daughters to buy a birthday present for my youngest, whose birthday is on Monday the 5th of January. She really wanted the Sylvanian Families Big House. I asked a female sales assistant whether the lights were included, and she simply looked at me, shrugged her shoulders, and said, “I don’t know.” No effort to help at all.
I then told my daughters we would come back later because we still needed to buy more things, and I couldn’t carry such a big box around due to bursitis in my both of my shoulders.
When we returned one hour later, the same house was suddenly €20 more expensive — a 25% price increase within one hour. So from 79,99 to 99,99. I went back to the same sales assistant and asked why the price had gone up. Her response?
“Yes, I just increased the prices.”
I pointed out that the price on the Dreamland website was still €79.99 and even took a photo to show her. She bluntly told me that wasn’t true. When I said I would buy it elsewhere, she replied, “Well, it all goes into the same pocket.”
Absolutely disgusting customer service.
In 18 years of shopping in toy stores for my four daughters, I have never experienced something this rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. This is not customer-friendly in any way, and I am deeply disappointed that my daughters had to witness this behavior.
I will NEVER shop at Dreamland again. Avoid this store if you expect basic respect or honesty.
