I had attended this course with knowledge and experience in general composite fillings, but hadn't undertaken a bonding case before, aside from sporadic single-tooth buildups.

I signed up for this particular course, which I thought would introduce me and give me a foothold in bonding, but, in all honesty, I left feeling like I could handle a 3-3 bonding case quite confidently.

Dr Asif keeps it simple, lays the foundation for the anatomy and morphology of the teeth, and then provides simple protocols for composite layering that are easy to follow. I'm not saying you will turn up tomorrow and find it easy in a real patient's mouth, as it takes time and repetition to master, but you will definitely feel confident in offering bonding to the next patient interested.

One of the main areas Dr Asif focuses on is the failures that can happen with this treatment and how to best resolve these calmly without panicking. The tips and tricks he gives are like pearls of wisdom, especially the easy system for posterior composites.

If you feel like you want to master your composites with simple, easy-to-follow protocols, have someone to guide you through it all, and give you ample 1-1 time with hands-on practice, then this course is a must!

This course was an excellent experience, mainly because of the genuine one-to-one approach. Dr Asif truly takes the time to sit with you, understand your individual challenges, and teach at your pace. He explains everything in a very simple, clear, and logical way. He actively encourages questions and takes the time to answer every single one thoroughly, ensuring you understand not only what to do, but why you’re doing it.
