Just when I thought that this could not…

Just when I thought that this could not any worse!! Waiting for brother in law to catch a train to Cardiff to see Stereophonics - He did not turn up on tim!!! WHY - Because he booked Dragon Taxis - who did not turn up - BUT THE BEST BIT - Informed him an hour later saying that they were on their way. What an absolute JOKE of a company. Urge everyone to boycott these cowboys and simply go to Jacksons Cabs - Reliable and honest

Charged £50 for an old man to spin his car about in random streets

Booked a taxi with this company on Sunday, driver shows up with no satnav or google maps and asks the passengers if they could use their phone. Proceeds to drive around in circles to make the price go up, pulls up next to another taxi and asks them to take his passengers (they were from a different bloody company aswell) and made the two passengers late for our wedding. Absolute joke of a company and they charged us £50 despite the agreed apron pre booking price being £42. Not the first time I’ve had an awful experience with this company as frequently they take advantage of young women needing to get home on nights out and ask for cash upfront and charge twice the amount as their male counterparts. Highly recommend driven taxis over this mess of a company!

Daylight robbers!

The way this firm are operating is abysmal. All they care about are profits. They tried to charge me £44 for a taxi from Pontypool to Cwmavon and back again, plus extra for a small dog to travel. Absolutely disgusting!! Do not use this company unless you are prepared to be robbed blind.

Ring premier

Since Dragon bought out other firms they believe they are untouchable. Minimising office staff and focusing on profits ( keep your eye on the meter between £4 and £6 watch how quick it goes up ). Multiple times been charged double for the same journey and had to wait 3-5 days for a refund. Noone gives a care it's all about money. Hopefully someone soon starts a company offering drivers fair wages and being honest with customers. I'm a forces Veteran who on multiple occasions been waiting 40 minutes plus because drivers refuse the jobs due to my location. Soon an investigation will happen and hopefully someone wears bodycams showing the rude attitude of drivers on calls in foreign language for the whole journey, not wearing seat belts, disgusting dirty taxis and drivers trying to blag extra money by pretending not to have change ( I made one drive to a shop to change his 'only note' to give me my change )

Think again before using this company….

Booked a taxi two days in advance and received confirmation of booking by email, so you’d be confident things were in place wouldn’t you?? Big mistake - taxi was more than an hour late in picking us up, and the booking for the return journey was an absolute nightmare. Took numerous phone calls to find out where taxi was after waiting for more than an hour, to then be told “no driver has accepted your booking yet”!!

Never had such a bad experience with a taxi company before, and how this company remains in business I’ll never know.

Taxi didn't even bother to turn up even though we pre-booked it

Where do I start ...... Pre-booked 2 taxis to take me and other family members (including kids) home after a wedding in Court Coleman, Penyfai at 11pm, Saturday just gone (18 June 2022). We all went outside in plenty of time to wait for the taxi's, but there was no sign of them. I phoned and was told they were busy and short of taxis, but they will get them from Cardiff, but may take 20 - 60minutes. We didn't have a choice so agreed. 10 minutes later we had a text to say they have cancelled our taxis, but hope to see you soon. I phoned them back straight away to complain and try and find out what was happening, to be told they should have phoned you to say it's been cancelled, but other than that sorry we can't help you as you'll will have to find your own way home and hung up. By this time we were fuming as the hotel was in the countryside and no way to get home. Tried other companies but they were fully booked for hours and hotel was fully booked up. With kids in toll my sister inlaw started phoning and waking family and friends to see if anyone could bring us home and praying they hadn't had a drink on a Saturday night. I WOULD NEVER USE DRAGON TAXIS AGAIN (Bridgend and Cardiff seems to have a negative review too) - if I could score lower than a one start, I would

Dubious behavior... I was charged more than the taximeter read... no receipt issued... telephone and email complaints were not processed... never again!

Absolutely shockingly s**t!

Absolutely shockingly s**t!! Prebooked a taxi from Barry Dock train station on Dock View Road at 1pm for 19.10 as myself and my girlfriend are disabled plus I've a large number of other health issues. My main concern is I broke my neck in two places my back in five places my shoulder ten ribs and my ankle a few years ago and now I've 36 screws and rods the length of my spine. Hence why the prebooking. Why on earth were we fobbed off and looking at email to say we didn't show up, bearing in mind we can't go anywhere as we have mobility issues is not only ludicrous, it's insulting!! After 1hr 50mins of waiting and several phone calls, the driver turned up and said he hadn't had a job for 45mins just makes it worse! I will be going to Wales Online also.
If anyone is looking at booking a cab from this company, please have second thoughts as calling the local donkey sanctuary and hiring two asses would have been better, on time, no bulls**t from staff, no insults.

Newport worst taxi, that's if they come.

Newport. Booked a taxi- they send a link to enter card details, and that they will take the fare amount when trip is over. 30 mins later we ring and they haven't sent it as we haven't paid! Yet they sent a text saying they are busy and are running late. Initial phone call stated on auto we had a taxi booked.
Worst taxi company ever.

Dragon Taxis,- Barry.
Totally and utterly thee worst, crapest, most useless taxi company in the universe. Never turn down a booking when they literally have no cabs on the road!. Constantly lie about times, prices etc, rude, cretinous staff, most driver's can barely speak English and the standard of driving is mostly deplorable and prices are a complete pixx take!!, Avoid at all costs!!😡

Shocking booked a taxi to pick 5 of us up…

Pre booked a taxi to pick 5 of us up from a wedding venue at 12 midnight, had a text to say it was running late .I phoned at 12.30 they said they are busy and would be there in 30 mins ,40mins later they rang to say it would be a further 45 mins but couldn't guarantee this either by this time wedding venue was closed and we had a elderly man with us . Still no sign of any taxis by 1.30 so ended up cancelling and sleeping on the floor of one of the wedding guests. Absolutely disgusting service when it was all pre booked .

Terrible service.

I had pre booked a taxi to take party of 5 to a hotel on Sunday at 12 pm as we needed to be at the wedding by 1pm. Price and time confirmed by text. At 12.05pm I had a text to say they were very busy but would treat booking as a priority and would be there as soon as they could. Still no taxi at 12.15pm so phoned taxi office who said no idea when taxi would be there as had not been assigned a driver yet! Absolute disgrace, it was pre booked so should have had an allocated driver. Told them to forget it and cancelled taxi. After wedding service I looked at my phone and there were 4 calls from them at 1.15pm, presumably when they bothered to turn up, even though I had cancelled it. Absolutely useless and terrible company.

Didn’t show up and phone calls ignored

Taxi booked day before. Got message saying there would be a delay but 40 minutes later there was still no taxi! Did not answer any phone calls. We were at a remote location in the dark and were very lucky to eventually get an Uber. Do not recommend.

Booked a taxi for 11-15 from Hilton

Booked a taxi for 11-15 from Hilton, Cardiff. Got a text saying delays at 11-10. 1hr and 15 mins later got an Uber instead. Shocking lack of information with no way of contacting them directly.

The most disgusting taxi company I’ve ever dealt with. Do not use! Don’t turn up and don’t answer the phone. One driver parked in front on everyone and just hurled abuse at everyone!

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI FIRM

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI FIRM. Booked WEEKS ago for after a concert in central Cardiff. Got to the spot with ample time. No sign of a taxi. Tried to call and no answer. Two drivers working for Dragon drive and pick up other passengers. I tried to see if they could help, nothing but rude and no interest of helping us, just drove off. Had to wait another hour to flag another taxi.

So disappointed in Dragon. Waste of time

Horrific service

Horrific service

Saturday night i had pre booked a taxi in the morning to pick myself and girlfriend up from usk at midnight after a wedding party which i had confirmed by a text message, come 12pm no sign of the taxi, i call them and they say we are really sorry one will be with you shortly, this is then confirmed again by a follow up text message. 30 minutes later and still no taxi, after multiple phone calls to them to ask what is going on as we were at this point stood in the pitch black middle of nowhere i was told there would be no taxi coming as there were none in the area and that because i had not pre paid there was nothing they could do !!!! at no point during my phone call in the day was i made aware of having to pre pay, i rang up, booked the taxi as i usually would and had confirmation text messges. As you can imagine, getting a taxi from usk on a saturday night is impossible unless its pre booked. After standing outside freezing cold in the middle of nowhere i did lose my temper and use many poor choice words to them over the phone as time ticked away with no resolution, multiple phone calls to them to try and get a taxi home they then decided to cancel my booking and lie to me about it over the phone because of my reaction which further enraged me. Id like to see their reaction if they or a member of their family young or old were left stranded by a taxi service in the middle of nowhere with no means of getting home in the middle of the night, maybe then they would realise why i was so angry. I would very much like to go into the office today and complain however i know for a fact it will fall on deaf ears as they are such an uncaring unprofessional company. I dread to think what they would have done had it been an old couple or a family with a child trying to get home. Words cannot describe my anger and disgust with Dragon especially at the fact they showed no remorse and then punished me further because of my reaction, the worst service i have ever received in my life, dont offer a service if you cannot fulfil it and dont then lie about it over the phone and blame the customer for losing his / her temper because you cant do your job properly and fulfil your service or show any form of customer service to resolve the situation. A simple im sorry we have made a mistake we will send another taxi now as a priority would have been great but for whatever reason they found acceptable this was not the case, DO NOT use this company unless you are desperate i certainly will never ride with dragon ever again. Also dont reply asking me to fill out a pointless form about my experience to improve your services, just go onto the reviews for your company and spend some time reading those again maybe then you'll be able to improve the disgusting experience your clearly giving your customers !! i feel sorry for the poor drivers who have to work for them.

Worse taxi service in my 57 years

Wanted me to go on on to my on line banking to pay alone in a taxi with my grandson age 7 No chip and pin shouting at me in my 57 years never had anything like it. I should have cash then. I went in to my house to get cash shaken up with grandson 7 in tears and gave him 10 pound well over the taxi amount no change given and my neibour came out as she heard him shouting at us. I'd never use this horrible taxi service again . Please be aware
