After contacting DPG with a query, Dominic responded with a detailed, comprehensive but easy to understand response - thank you very much!

Very unhelpful. Lack of support during studies, did not help me when I asked for help, and very limited support throughout course. Felt very disheartened and demotivated because of the experience with DPG. Spent a lot of money on the CIPD course and was then unable to complete it because of poor service. Will have to pay again elsewhere.

As someone who has completed their course with DPG, I wanted to share my experience completing CIPD level 5.
As reflected in the many reviews here, the onboarding is seamless, and the office and admin staff at DPG are exceptional. They problem solved with empathy, and were always quick to support.
The learning with DPG was quite lonely. There is a day-long session for each module, but the effectiveness of them depend on how many people turn up (the sweet-spot was 4-5). The sessions run on workdays, 9-5, so I wasn't able to make them all.
The sessions are around the themes of the module, rather than the questions. I found that I really wanted to talk to other people about the questions - not to cheat but to bounce ideas and understand how the question needed me to answer it. There are sessions that go through the questions, but I found that these weren't so useful. Sometimes the assessor would give really actionable top tips but sometimes I didn't gain anything worthy of the time spent tuning in.
The assessors were a mixed bag. Some gave useless, rushed comments that were hard to interpret. Keith is top of the list when it comes to this. Another assessor called Stephen was excellent; truly helpful, and even stepped in when Keith's comments weren't understandable at all. I seemed to get Stephen at the end of my course and his support really motivated me to complete - thank you.
Lastly, the organisation of the work was quite sloppy at times. CIPD changes the questions each year (?), and also DPG changed the platform halfway through my learning. Both of these changes were poorly managed, and in the case of the changes to questions, I think this wasn't advertised well enough. I ended up stuck in limbo for a month or so, having submitted two modules, and waiting for the new content to be published.
I would recommend DPG if you are self-motivated, don't need classroom environments, and are familiar with academic settings. If, like me, you need the social side of learning, and finished academia a long time ago so are a bit rusty, then I would advise going with one of the more expensive options where you'll have a support network.

When I decided to start my CIPD journey, I had no idea which level was best for me. Roderick helped me find the most suitable course for me. He has been very helpful and quick in his responses. I am happy that he will be my advisor.

I’ve been an online student gaining my level 5 CIPD qualification with DPG learn over the past two years. Initially I planned to complete it within a year but the team were so supportive when I required extensions- and speaking on the phone and emails with the student support were made pleasant and helpful with Dominic and Tori, whom explain clearly and get back to you in a timely manner.
Further, I’d say the tutors do offer further support for when the videos, reading material and feedback comments have not assisted me in further understanding.

My advisor, Roddy, was happy to provide as much information as I needed before making a booking. The forms were short and simple and as soon as I submitted them I was signed up within the hour.

I had made initial enquiries about a month ago and Roddy got in touch right away to offer any help. He kindly left me contact details to get back to him when the time was right for me. Phoned Roddy back today and he talked me though any questions I had and made the whole process of enrolling seamless and straightforward.

I called this afternoon and spoke to Dominic and asked for an extension on my course as I'm worried I'm not going to complete it in time with a busy work & home schedule. Dominic was very understanding and asked how am I finding the course and am I managing to find time to study. Dominic very kindly extended my completion date by an extra two months for free as gesture of goodwill.
A phone call I was nervous to make but I'm so glad I did. Thank you so much Dominic!

They always prompt early Trust Pilot reviews because once you're in, you're in. I have been on this course nearly a year and have had little to no engagement with anyone. When it came to paying for the course everyone was interested. But once you are on its radio silence. Trying to get hold of a tutor is not user friendly at all. And when you start a "conversation" when you need help 9/10 they just close the conversation without properly answering the question. There have also been some recent changes which have highly annoyed me. When you initially sent an answer in, if a question is below par you send it back with the question rewritten and happy days. Now, if you resubmit to rewrite you immediately get a low pass. Absolutely shocking. There has been times where overall I have achieved a high pass and it be a fail because of one question, how on earth would that be fair? They have given a wishy washy excuse that they want better answers submitted but this shouldn't just be on the person learning it should also be on them. As sometimes your work can be checked by 3 different people. They say there is an option to submit a draft which is fine but it only covers 3 questions, and heaven forbid when I fully submitted a draft in you just get snooty responses about only needing 3 answers. 3 answers is no good to anyone for a draft. Nobody checks in on you at all. If I didn't sign into the portal for 6 months nobody would care. Why doesn't it flag an automated e-mail or something to say that you haven't signed into your dashboard? I work full time and shifts, this is hard, sometimes life does get in the way. I get it is self study, absolutely, but this does not mean as a learning provider you have 0 accountability. They have also recently changed some assignment briefs. Absolutely fine I get it needs to be up to date. But after rereleasing the assignment briefs after two weeks they then changed the assignment brief I was working on AGAIN overnight and didn't tell anyone. I will never use this company again. I asked for an extension because, life, and they said yeah sure £60 for a month. They've already had £2000 off of me, and for what?

SCAM OF A COMPANY - DO NOT USE!!!!
All there 5 star reviews are based on how speedy enrolment is ( because that’s where they get your money ) once enrolled there is zero support, they make it impossible to pass a course. I complained and wanted to go elsewhere where my savings and career would be taken seriously. They have refused to give me my hard earned money back. They fail as a company under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They have put me in a position of having to take legal action. Any other provider must be better than this. I am distraught over the experience. The money they have taken is pennies to them but huge to me and career.
