It's a game changer, the water taste great, crisp & clean. Not plastic toxins & less plastic waste.

My British Berkefeld
These filters are performing well, and are easy to install. Be aware that I am a retired engineer, and I first bought a Big Berkey system and the filters were very poor quality. The threaded shanks and the wing-nuts on the filters ( black berkey carbon filters ) were of poor quality and were a nightmare to tighten, with the wingnut slipping on the threads with very light tightening, there were other issues which I will not get into here.
So 'Hats Off' to British Berkefeld and Doulton water filters which are much better, a total game changer in fact, only 1 negative ie, the hole at the top of the bottom chamber?

A note on the hole at the top of the chamber – it was an intentional upgrade to the design and is there to prevent any air locks in the lower chamber. Excellent filter
The unit is so simple to set up and the build quality is very good. The footprint is small (7cm) so easy to place at a convenient location near the tap.

Oh dear
What should have been easy turned into not easy. My plumber came, we found that the tap had arrived without a connector kit.i couldn't check as box didn't list contents. Plumber came back, tap fitted. Lovely tap terrible water pressure. Sent tap back received another tap and separate filter tap. Plumber came and fitted. 3 times payment to the plumber. The filter is good quality water ,however the lever unscrews and comes loose. Overall a stressful experience. Free small water filter tap but no compensation for having to keep getting a plumber and taking more time off.

Filtering Your Water is a MUST
Since buying our countertop water filter from Doulton, not only have I been able to drink the water straight from the Tap (via the filter), but my health has also improved, as I am able to hydrate properly and don't need to mask the water with a cordial. Additionally, the dogs are getting clean and safe water, which is only positive. I am recommending the water filter to all my friends.
