Get a refund using bank charge back

Small order placed but no delivery and what seems par for the course phone number not working and will not respond to emails. Obviously a terrible trader but do not despair I paid by debit card and contacted my bank Nat West and filled in a very simple form explaining what happened and asked for a charge back to be made and they investigated and have issued a me refund. Just search on your particular bank who issued the debit card for the charge back form there in no minimum (I got back less than £10.00) this can also work for a credit card as well.
Just make sure that you ask for the charge back for the name that appears on your bank statement which seems to be HOMEWARE.
This costs nothing so just give it a go. Steve.

Bed experience, would not use again.

Very, very mixed feelings about this company. They took my order and my money and then I heard nothing. Their phone lines didn't work. The mobile number I had for them was constantly switched off and only went to voicemail and I was getting no replies to emails.

There is no record of a company named doorhandleparts at Companies House and no-one named "Lee Stephenson" listed at Companies House, for the registered address of this company. The company has no physical premises that I could ascertain, despite having multiple addresses listed on various "business directory" websites in West Sussex, all the addresses were for residential properties and even some HMOs.

Communication was very, very spartan indeed. I was of the belief I had been scammed and would have taken matters further if my money had not been returned.

It's very difficult to say with any degree of certitude whether this is just a one man band who occasional does a bit of business on the side, via the website, and isn't very good at it, or whether this is a complete scam.

Based on my own experience I couldn't recommend them and I will not be using this company again.

I eventually used a company called nexdaylocks who were amazing and delivered the very next day.

It is a legal requirement for companies to show their company number & name on their website but doorhandleparts does not. The address on their website is for a management company who specialise in providing Company Secretarial Services i.e. a mailing address for a registered company (you can check this via Companies House).

If you've been left high and dry the best course of action is to contact your provider and begin disputed transaction / retrieval proceedings. Your provider may be able to provide additional details or a phone number for you to attempt contact with doorhandleparts. You can request this information from your payment provider.

Also runs doorhandleparts.co.uk which has an even worse rating on Trustpilot.

Also runs globalcatalog.com / doorhandleparts.gb

The doorhandleparts.com web domain is listed by ICANN as being owned by an individual living in West Sussex and is hosted by GoDaddy. If needed, you can request the details the individual who currently owns doorhandleparts.com web domain by using GoDaddy's NPRD request form.

Untrustworthy seller

Money taken. No goods shipped. Sound familiar?
Like others, I wish I'd checked feedback before ordering. I have sent an email requesting an immediate refund. To date there has been no response and no refund.

Scam? Maybe just REALLY bad service

Money taken. No goods shipped. Phoned several times only to get the American voice on the answerphone. Left messages. Emailed saying that they must refund - awaiting reply.
UPDATE: had a reply to my email apologising, the part arrived 2 days later and money refunded. Customers shouldn't have to go to those lengths.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. I ordered and paid for some spares from this company but they didn't arrive. Phoned them and left messages on their answer phones asking them to contact me, I had no response. e-mailed them with the same result. Is there no way these crooks can be brought to book to stop them stealing money from more people?

Bought a spindle months ago from this cowboy of cowboys and it was never sent, and I had no replies to my many emails. It was not the most expensive of purchases so I didn't contest it through the credit card company but it still makes me angry that this website is still up there and still accepting sales. Is there no regulator for internet retailers? If this was a market trader the police would take action.

Do not use these people

Do not use these people. I have ordered a handle spindle (not the biggest order I know), and they have taken my money, but delivered nothing at all!! They don’t answer their phones or emails, so I have no way of finding out where my order is or getting money back. They have pretty much stolen my money!!

How does anyone get in touch with you DHP??

No parts arrived after purchase after a month of waiting. Got response from
Seller saying he would send. No items were ever sent. After the first email he started ignoring any contact. Filed complaint on PayPal and was issued with a full refund. Obviously a scam website. Don’t use them and if you have claim your money back through PayPal don’t let these low life’s away with your hard earned cash!

Did not get any parts

I ordered parts and paid for them on my credit card,i received an email from Door Handle parts, to say that the parts would take 2 days to be delivered by Royal Mail We live in a village so i know the postman, (the same one every day, has been doing the round for years) i asked him if he has seen a small package, that i was expecting, i wondered if it had gone astray, he had not seen the parcel. i then phoned, and e-mailed Door Handle parts to enquire about the order, i have done this numerous times with no replies only a answer phone with an American voice recording.
The money has been taken out of my credit account. this was done on the day i placed the order, so i have informed the credit card company.
This is either a scam, or the company has gone bankrupt, either way it should not be taking money off customers, this is fraud

Decent people, poor admin

Placed an order one month ago. Still haven't received the item. The seller has not answered any of my emails and is not answering the phone number which is on their website.

Have just spoken with the retailer who apologised that they couldn't find any of my previous emails and informed me that they have just updated their phone system hence not answering calls. However, they have kindly agreed to send another order via recorded delivery.

A "Key" player in customer service!

I ordered a single door lock spring last Friday afternoon and it arrived on Sat!
How good is this for service from a large company dealing with a small order?
My customer now thinks I' m great. Thank you Doorhandleparts.
