DoorDash robbed me. I placed an order from Wendy’s last night about 6to 7 minutes later I get a phone call from 188 number that comes up on the iPhone as DoorDash. It was an Indian man saying they are having technical support issues He knew what I ordered he knew my name he made me go in the app press different buttons, to help with the technical issues I did as he said then told me we are going to give you $100 credit for your inconvenience robbing $100 gift card from me. I have been going back-and-forth with DoorDash for two days almost on hold for hours giving me the runaround will not compensate me. Do not trust them. Be careful if you order from DoorDash. This number comes up on the iPhone as DoorDash and they have all your information already. They will tell you their name and their ID number. It is all fake. It is a scam. Do not fall for it please

I placed two orders on Door Dash. One after the other. My total was a little over $62. I noticed the app didn’t update and was going to be delivered to the wrong address. I contacted customer support chat right away. I was told in the chat that both orders were cancelled and I would have a credit on my account. I asked if the second order was cancelled also. I was told yes.
I go to do another order and my full credits were not on there. I try to do an order and it was automatically cancelled by them. But the credits I did have which was a little over $42, was deducted and not returned.
I reached out to customer service again. I told him everything that happened. I told him I just want my total I spent back like I was promised. He looked in to it and told me my credits were given to me and then ended the chat. He didn’t even ask if I was done.
I contacted customer support again. I broke it all down. I even sent a picture of what was taken from my account. I was then told it was a learning opportunity for them. Then was told they would send it through the proper channels. The chat was ended in my face again.
So after spending $62 I never received anything I ordered. So after 3 hours I’m sitting here with no food and a $24 credit.
They were so unprofessional. I use to love Door Dash, I can’t believe I was treated this way.

I work in hospital emergency room and order some food that I never received . I tried to complain about they told me they could refund me ! I have no respect for this company or the low life driver!! A bunch of losers. Be careful using this app they are a bunch of low life people and hire a bunch of low life drivers. STOP USING THUS APP

Door Dash just need to shut down for good until they learn real business tactics and hire respectful caring delivery drivers. The company itself is nothing but fraud if you ask me. My second experience of the same exact situation, no food delivered after driver insisted it was delivered. Wrong, the details strictly states hand the food to customer? Never happens. Just the recent same situation, the driver I watched pass by my place and kept going, I texted the person to notify a red truck in my driveway, no food, I was texted stating delivered? Delivered where? This guy says where the red truck is..smart ass I was standing at my door for 10 minutes, if I hadn’t mentioned the red truck he would not had a clue the land mark… I continued calling this driver, not picking up after multiple attempts, finally answers with this phat out lie again it’s delivered at the red truck..he began getting very rude and told me not to call back…I reviewed the actual map, this driver wasn’t even in my complex, map shows he was in a totally different location when he claimed my food is here. I called Red Lobster to complain and get my money back..that was a nightmare, on hold each time I called over 15 minutes, then called back and finally gets an answer, this was another horrible experience put me on hold to get my refund in order, yet never came back on hold 20-25 minutes and I hung up then called Door Dash..had to explain this all over again….now within 12 hours I’m supposed to get refund back to card…just be Leary ordering online for Red Lobster Hoover in Warren, Mi.

I am giving three stars because usually my order is great. It’s not about the order. This is about the fees that DoorDash adds on. A delivery fee? A service fee? And then we have to tip on top of all of that. Sometimes the fees add up to more than my actual order. Highly upsetting!! Charging all these fees as the company you’re taking from the dashers tip! My meal cost 30.00 and fees and tip makes the total be 57.00!! I am upset by this because while I will continue to use DoorDash I will not be tipping appropriately. Tell DoorDash to pay their dashers more with the fees they charge!

Use Uber Eats, This business is a Scam, if im paying 70+ $ on ym order an its gross asf an I dont get a refund that's called literally scamming. I will be issuing a court order lawsuit.

Restaurant closed while waiting to find a dasher support was helpful but very unclear.

Horrid company, horrid customer service and completely horrid experience. DoorDash is absolutely the worst company with even worse customer service. I ordered food that made me sick and nothing was done about it to help, on top of that I experienced issues with the app because it was not working and responding so I could contact support, and they would not issue me a refund. I deactivated my account I would rather deal with a different company because Door Dash customer service was just awful and the worst I have experienced. I will definitely not be using them again what a waste of my time and money.

First time ordering through Door Dash and ordered food for pickup. Arrived at store and the order was not at all correct. Store said we should cancel thru Door Dash as there was nothing they could do on their end. We ordered our items at the store and paid for the correct order there. Then, Door Dash refuses to refund. I learned my lesson and will NEVER use this app again. Like many others Door Dash stole our money and refused to give any explanation on why refund as refused other than our history...again this was our first (and now last) order. We basically paid double for our dinner tonight. Their email is below. This is the response after talking to two customer service representatives.

I received the complete wrong order after ordering a delivery. It was not even a doordash order but a web order for the restauraunt so clearly the dasher grabbed the wrong thing. The food between the orders were not even similar. I put in a help inquiry to get a refund and it was rejected with no reasoning. I then called the support line and they said they could not do anything about it either since my initial inquiry was rejected. The support representative just kept apologizing saying there was nothing she could do. Just disapointing.

ALWAYS ORDER WITH A CREDIT CARD. If you can, because a chargeback is quicker. I’m so glad I cancelled my dashpass and got my money back from my bank. Doordash employs thieves, but thank goodness i took a screenshots. They top driver did a snap and dash , which is when you take a pic of the food and then steal it but act like you delivered it. I showed them proof and based on the time stamp , common sense would tell you he stole my food because he sent me a picture of it in his car after he claimed it was delivered. I talked to three reps and caught them in a lie.

One said she could the chat history and see the photo, and then the next time I called about an email that I never received regarding my stolen items, that person said no I can’t access the chat history that’s not something we do. Unprofessional and dirty. So even though I got my money back from disputing with my bank, I’m still filing a complaint to the General Attorney’s sub division for business complaints and then throwing it out in the ether and never using that stank ahh app again, bc it’s principle. <33

I got deactivated after 81/100 deliveries and they said it was due to all my unassigned orders when 10% of the time you drive to the store just for the store to tell you they can’t take door dash orders or it’s been pick and your like the 3rd person. Door Dash is a scam that system!!! Based on horrible experience!! I don’t want no stars on there.

Ordered food for my girlfriend 2 weeks ago. The driver picked ul the food from the restaurant and drove to the location. Didn't drop off the food but sat in the car long enough to fool their stupid system. But thats not what im angry about. They claimed to have given a refund which they didnt. Customer service is a joke. They said 5-7 days. After the 7th day I called back. Then they 3 -5 more days im on like day 15 and I still dont have the $50 dollars i spent to feed their driver. Use Uber eats. They actually care

I ordered a meal on September 4th. It never came. I have tried to get a refund but all they say is that it's under review. I will not order from Doordash ever again.

Sometimes I drive for doordash to try to make a little bit of money and it's almost impossible they will send you orders and your chip is supposed to be lower than what gas cost today I'm a single mama with two children and I cannot for the life of me, up any kind of way with doordash and then if you get a order and something's wrong with the order or the customer can't get it you're good if you even get the tip from that or they'll make you make it half of a tip and it's crazy because we can't see what these people are ordering or what they're paying I bet you don't ask is ripping people off left and right

A supplier used DoorDash instead of ups to deliverto me. Someone had put an additional address on my account and it was a Local street . But the house number does not exist. google AI called it a typo. I notified the vendor before the day of delivery. The driver left a text message saying it was delivered to a “safe location” and showed a picture of the box next to his car. Not a location picture. Shame ont vendor, the driver and DoorDash.

DoorDash in Canada are horrible. I have had two incidents with them. The last and only time today I paid 18.00 and it was cancelled due to the store not having DoorDash at their store but on the website DoorDash advertises that location. I called the first time and the agent gave me a 10 dollar credit for having to wait. Now my order was cancelled and they are only giving me 8 bucks back due to that credit. When I got a 10 dollar credit before and my full refund from the first incident. I demanded a manager to call me and I will blast this on social media.

Extremely disappointing experience with DoorDash. I would give negative 5 stars if I could.
The driver called me and said he could not collect the order because the restaurant did not make it. He then came to my home without the food and again confirmed he did not have the order. Despite this, he marked the order as delivered and uploaded a photo of my driveway showing no food or delivery.
I even drove to the restaurant's listed location myself, only to discover that the business is no longer operating there and the premises now has a large FOR LEASE sign.
I reported this on numerous occasions, but DoorDash denied my full refund after claiming to have conducted a “comprehensive analysis.” Instead they provided an insufficient credit, only a quarter of what my order cost me. UNACCEPTABLE!
What is most upsetting is being made to feel as though I was dishonest for reporting an order I genuinely never received. I have provided DoorDash with the facts, yet they continue to refuse a full refund.
I am now pursuing the matter through Queensland Office of Fair Trading and the BBB.

doordash is the only service in the country that allows natural born citizens to order. please note that they do not allow the use of any credit card or gift card without proof of birth, so only doordash cards are allowed for natural born citizens.
