fantastic service overall.
the less than spectacular reviews share a common theme - disillusionment as to expecting a $24 monthly subscription to replace entirely the capabilities of a $400/hr attorney.
I implore you all to try it yourself, my ROI is in the tens of thousand percentages, but the software will never be able to fully replace the role and capabilities of my business attorney - that expectation is both delusional and asinine.
I have consistently and constantly over the last few days been trying to get in touch with Do Not Pay over a serious situation that they refuse to reply to regarding a scammer who stole 460 dollars from me and is trying to steal more. So far they refuse to reply and lack any phone number to contact them. My major concern is that Do Not Pay's "Robo Revenge" feature which is a key impotence to tracking this guy down is not working at all and my emails have been met with silence. I am trying to stall the guy as long as I can, but the "Robo Revenge" feature which involves giving scammers a fake credit card number refuses to generate just that. A small loading circle for one split micro second appears only for nothing to happen. I need this feature to work in order to move forward! Yet no one in the company is replying.

I signed up on Jan 9th, 2026 specifically for their "spam email reduction" feature and nothing has been done. I've sent two emails (1/19 & 1/21) requesting cancelation & refund due to non-performance and all I've received is the auto-generated emails saying "We've received your request and will contact you within 24 hours", it's now 1/23 and still nothing. I wish I had checked reviews *before* signing up for this BS, now that I've read some of the others here. 🙄
0 if I could. This company has been charging me $36 dollars every other month for a service I NEVER signed up for. After some digging with the bank I found out I had unauthorized charges coming from this company. I tried to dig to see if I could cancel my account, but I didn’t have an account in the first place so I’m alarmed at how they got my banking info in the first place.

I tried using their Burner Phone, but I misunderstood the nature of the service and asked for a refund of my money. Thinking the problem was something to do with the U.I. or a one-off glitch, I signed up again and then realized that the burner phone numbers were essentially single-use and didn't last as long as my subscription.
But again, they have issued me a refund even after I had been signed up with them for only a month. While I didn't get what I wanted, the fact that I was able to get a refund twice without issue shows to me they are legit.
I cancel in March 2024 still being charged
Double Charges: For almost a year, I was charged twice per month at $36 each — totaling $72 per month.
Unauthorized Charges After Cancellation: I canceled my subscription in March 2024, yet I am still being charged every month to this day.
This has resulted in significant overbilling. I have attached my transaction history for your reference.
I am requesting that you:
Fully refund $504 for all duplicate charges and unauthorized charges since my cancellation in March 2024.
Immediately stop all future charges and confirm my subscription is permanently canceled.
If this issue is not resolved within 7 business days, I will proceed with filing charge disputes with my bank, submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and escalating to consumer protection agencies.
They don't care to email you back and their phone is invalid.

The payment method needs fixing but customer service was great. Lucy Wang especially was very helpful and eased my concerns quickly and with professionalism.
This company advertised a 36 dollar charge every 2 weeks. So without reading the reviews i signed up. I was charged the $36.99. 3 days later i was charged another $36.99 which my bank denied. I had connected my business bank account to the site as they advertised that they could help with charge backs and banking fees. They took the money from my business account without my permission since my bank denied the charge on my other account. I have gotten no results from any of the services they offer. This company is bogus and i too will be reporting them to FTC. I have requested a prompt refund of the full amount i was charged. Still have not herd back from this company. BEWARE of this company.

Thanks for the reviews. It helped to make the decision not to use this company.

They unlawful advertised a free trial then tried to take the money off the same day, then took the money 4 days later at 10pm EST without my consent or knowledge. I will be filing a federal complaint and with the CFBP if my money isn't back on my card by today

Lied about their wait on hold for you feature, it just completely does not exist. Many other features they advertise also don't exist. The features they do offer are very barebones and nothing like they make them seem.

Somehow this company got my credit card number and billed me for services I never signed up for. When I contacted them, initially they were reassuring and promised to be helpful. And then, after asking me for information (which I provided), they stopped responding to me. My credit card company considered it fraud and so I had to get a new card -- and spend way too many hours setting up all my autopay accounts again. I have no idea how Do Not Pay got my credit card number, but since they were the only ones who used it without my permission, I have to consider them at fault (especially since they acknowledged I had not set up an account with them -- and took no steps to resolve my complaint). I do not recommend anyone do business with them. ** Update: After DoNotPay learned I had reported them as fraudulent, then they refunded my money. Which means they could have done it when I asked, but they strung me along with false promises and requests for more information. Not nice.

OK, lets see if I got this straight...
"DoNotPay" wants to charge me $50 Cdn EVERY TWO MONTHS just to protect me for a "free trial" sign up for a product that might charge me $75 FOR A FULL YEAR of membership?
Yes, I know that is only one example... but seriously... $50 Cdn every two months? That is just ridiculous.
OK, queue the canned "Copy and Paste" responses from the support team.

I Purchased donotpay subscription after watching youtube videos and after reading so many articles published by donotpay.
My intention was to get virtual cards. They wrote everywhere that you will unlimited virtual cards but when i bought subscription they gave me only 4 cards for one month which was completely misleading.
I sent them email that i need refund but they never reply back.
That's why i am here to warn you to never pay for subscription to donotpay.com.
It's totally scam.

Basically, it is ChatGPT with a form. Looks cute, can't tell if it really works or if they do anything for you. You want people to stopping calling, you fill the form, they email it for you... You still receive calls from scammers. You could have do that faster with ChatGPT. "Write an email to ... agency to take my number off." Oh, and for free. I cancel 3 months ago and they still invoiced me. Beware.

Signed up for a free trial to see if they could help me with a warranty claim for a defective product I bought, the website told me they would handle it within a few hours and now it's been three days with no update. Glad I made sure to sign up for the trial using an empty prepaid debit card, good luck charging anything to that hunk of plastic. Feels good knowing that I scammed the scammers for once.
Edit: 08/25/2024 The task they were supposed to be able to help me with in a matter of hours(submit a warranty claim for a defective item), still has not been completed. Upon checking the website, it tells me that they can not complete the task until I agree to an annual membership. If that's the case, why offer a free trial in the first place? Website claims to be able to assist with all manner of services but in reality, it's just an AI chatbot that can't actually do any of the claims the site makes.

When I purchased a burner phone on donotpay.com it would not work and my acccount is locked. Can you please give me a refund for the full amount for $36.00 plus the $1.37 I used for the burner phone.
