Total Regret
First I want to say, I wish there was an option for zero stars. This was the worst decision I could have made for my personal finances. Please beware before doing this. After a year almost to date of signing on with the program, and after two lawsuits by American Express, I am ending up paying more monthly than I did before signing up. They promised me they would be able to negotiate good amounts for my two credit card balances, but because my monthly deposit was low, to fool me into thinking I was going to be able to really save money, the funds accruing in the account were taking a long time to accumulate and they were not working to get anything settled. Amex, I am sure, had no idea I was on a debt relief program. Done with Debt told me to stop paying by credit cards, so I did and that was a huge mistake. They didn't settle the accounts until both creditors filed lawsuits against me. This is no small thing. They mention that creditors can sue, but they don't say that the lawyer fees come out of the money you are putting in to pay down the debt owed. Additionally, the lawyers are terrible and bow to whatever the credit card companies want. They get paid basically to just do nothing but file paperwork that won't help your case at all. I needed to allow two increases in monthly withdrawals to settle the lawsuits, which brought my credit card payments above what I was paying last year. Plus now, Done With Debt is collecting a fee from me for processing my payments to Amex. This is a total scam. I would have been much better off getting a bank loan. My credit at least last year was good and I would have been able to do that. Now I'm stuck and in so much worse shape financially and emotionally than I was last year. Please triple think before doing this.

First I would like to say, I had the pleasure of working with Alex Olson on my accounts. He let me know right up front that he might offer suggestions, but everything would be my choice to include or exclude anything we talk about. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. If there was anything he was unsure of he would find the answer through research or a supervisor. So I was very comfortable working with Alex and confident in everything he helped me with. I would refer working with Alex to anyone looking for help with their credit accounts. Freedom Debt Relief the company also made me feel very comfortable in choosing them to handle my situation. I was very confident in there ability to handle anything that may come up and that they would always make sure I knew what was happening with my accounts through the whole process. Artin very Articulate, intelligent and knowledgeable!
Artin is a great person to meet. He introduced himself, explain the program had all the information, documents necessary including itemization! He went over every aspect of this program. He was just fantastic. I was sort of leary at the beginning because you know there's a lot of scammers out there and he was so easy to talk to ,trust and you could tell. he's very reassuring and very articulate ,most of all knowledgeable about his job. Assured me that this would be great program for me and would truly benefit me now and in the future. Actually, I'm looking forward to making my payments and how this program works. I know that if I have questions or problems he that he will be available to contact him any time! So I felt at ease when we ended our conversation! I was assured if I was not happy when it time to make the payments or how this program worked! He would be there to make the proper adjustments. Done with Debt passes you to another…
Done with Debt passes you to another company. The Ramsey snowball method is used to pay off your debt. Little accounts then the big ones. Meanwhile the larger ones can take you to court if you have not paid them. My largest account sit over a year with no evidence that any effort has been made to settle. They neglect to let you know that any of your accounts they are supposed to be settling can go to a collect agency. Since October my dashboard showed my one account should get a $688 settlement. The settlement they got for me was $1325 but the dashboard still read $688. I was told I would receive notification when money was going to be withdrawn from my bank account. Texts stopped coming last fall.

Very helpful. Follows up expeditiously. I live on 1490 a month. My payments were 1300 a month. done with debt brought it down to less than 500 a month. I am so grateful for their much needed help. THANK YOU DONEWITHDEBT.
