SCAM
SCAM - F these clowns and their fake invoices. They need to be sued and arrested.
Sadly, this Scam is still going?
Sad, I was hoping this Charade had finally stopped. As my company, Domain Networks, in CANADA, has not received any calls from US citizens questioning the invoice they received in the snail mail for almost a year. First call was back in 2021, and then every 3 months I would get another 10 or so calls.
Talked with some nice people was the plus side, when I explained how to do a 20 second online research BEFORE you pay some random invoice in the mail. Downside, ignorant callers that would not listen to reason, and blamed me and required I give them their money back or they'll call the authorities. My answer to them "Please do, the more the better, then maybe others will stop getting scammed when they pay zero attention to the invoice they did not actually receive, but paid it anyway without vetting it".
Why is this type of scam continuing? It's a multi-billion dollar industry. How do they sleep at night? I'm expecting very well, on a pile of cash that people continue to pay them without their due diligence.
Seriously, who pays even a $10.00 invoice without doing so much as reading what it is, and asking questions (if you are the accountant/bookkeeper).
THIS IS A SCAM
THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT PAY THE FAKE INVOICE. This company needs to be shut down and the scammers arrested.
Scam, do not pay! I reached out to this company years ago…
I reached out to this company years ago to stop their deceptive practices by sending us mail that looked like a bill. Our billing department almost paid it but lucky for us they asked me first. I reported them to consumer affairs and looks like they just changed their name and continue their scam. Got a new "bill" today. This is just not right! I wonder how many people pay these "bills" automatically?
You should not have to trick people…
You should not have to trick people into being a customer - not a great business model. Shame.
This is a scam
This is a scam. Do not pay. If you get mail from them, send it back in the envelope they send with any other trash mail you have and make them pay the postage.
Total scam
Total scam. 289 bucks for something I can do for 12 dollars myself.
Just throw their junk mail in the trash.
These are total scammers
These are total scammers. They send out bills hoping some companies may pay it for a domain renewal. You can establish a domain or rewnew for under 20.00 a year. Dont pay these guys.
This false advertisement is deceptive…
This false advertisement is deceptive and appears to be an attempt to mislead customers into unnecessary renewals. I believe this practice is unethical and violates consumer trust.
Received an invoice in the mail for…
Received an invoice in the mail for "directory listing service". This is a scam. I did not pay it. They only have a domain rating of 6 out of 100 possible. They do not help your business and their website is very vague. You should ignore this letter or invoice from them.
Predatory letters
This company regularly sends out letters that look like bills. It does say on the letter that "THIS IS NOT A BILL. THIS IS A SOLICITATION". However you have to read it carefully. This scam must be working on people, because I get these every year. I guess they earn another one star review.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam! Incredibly deceptive of them to send what looks like and invoice. This company should be ashamed of themselves.
Totally a scam
Totally a scam, they have mailed me a letter based off a domain that is not originally hosted with them. this feels like the old bate scam to get you to pay a fake registrar and get you to transfer the domain to them so they can black mail you in the future.
Scam Artists. Beware!!!!!!!!
Please! Please! Be aware. Thankful our banks protect us. These folks look completely legit but they are nothing but completely scam artists. They portrayed themselves as an extension of Go Daddy, with a North Carolina address, phone number, and website. They stole my money and, if you visit their website today, they are now in New Mexico. The big question is WHEN will our government start using our taxpayer dollars to put an end to these scammers! It is getting so ridiculously old. Shocks me that these horrible people can find a way to sleep at night.
Complete scam
Complete scam. However they received my personal mailing address is beyond me. Read the "fine print" as they are scamming every domainer.
Total scam
Total scam. Don't pay these fools anything. They provide absolutely no services whatsoever!
BEWARE is right
BEWARE is right! Unethical They send "bills" that look real. They are not, nor do they do anything good for anyone but themselves.
