Having been let down by a well known stair lift company we approached Dolphin Mobility to see if they could supply a curved stair lift for our needs.
Hannah visited the house to explain the flow x stairlift
and to confirm that there appeared to be no reason why it should not work in our circumstances I.e. width of our staircase. She then returned taking time to measure precisely and to take photos for the manufacturer to give the go ahead for feasibility.
Both my wife and myself were very impressed with her
professionalism. Once the manufacturer had given the go ahead we went ahead and ordered and the stairlift and it
was installed immediately after Christmas. We are absolutely delighted with same as I can now access
the shower in our bathroom after being reduced to strip washes for months.Thank you all at Dolphin who were involved and a special mention to Hannah.

Phoned up to book a service for my grandmother's stair lift and the team who i spoke to was really helpful and fitted us in very quickly. Will be recommending to people in future

I have been without access to my bedroom and bathroom upstairs for twelve days now, i have slept in my electric chair for 12 nights and days, parts apparently 😗😗😏😏😴😴 even had to chace them up everyday for 10 days take out 2 sundays day of rest like, last update 30/09/25 was parts arriving wed 01/10/25 and that the engineer will arrive thursday 02/10/25 9am apparently i am first job so i was told by receptionist, so why am i still sitting here at 12.20pm afternoon still "WAITING" on engineer who clearly cant eithier tell time or keep time, or even "RING" you to let you know "ETA" you know imso shocked this company have POOR COMUNICATION AND DO NOT HOLD THERE CUSTOMERS WELL BEING AT THERE FOREFRONT YOU ARE NOT AT THE TOP OF THERE PRIORITY, UNFORTUNATELY WALSALL COUNCIL PAY THIS COMPANY DOLPHIN LIFTS TO FIX DISABLED EQUIPMENT I'e, Lifts, Hoists, etc etc, but the service you get, not good at all, YOU WANT NURISHMENT NOT PUNISHMENT, but im afraid they do not supply understanding and one ounce of responsibility, and Dave, David, the manager is a very arrogant disrespectful human being, Lorna Walsall, West Midlands

I can’t begin to thank both James and Rylei for installing my new stair lift, fast, efficient & clean, extremely approachable, knowledgeable and cheerful, I had the dream team 👊🏻 thank you both so very much.

My Mother bought a Dolphin bath lift - (no model number on the device) a couple of years ago for £2,000 +. The Battery stopped working around 6 months ago. Dolphin now wants to charge an additional £398!!!!! Dont touch them with a barge pole. Less than 18 months use for £2k+ a complete con. Look elsewhere people

I have to say all of the engineers that I had the pleasure to meet are amazing. They are thoughtful & professional.
The problem lies with the man who takes your calls & I have only just found out is the owner! He is an arrogant rude man & any thing he arranges always runs in to problems,I feel sorry for his extremely accomplished staff!!

I am very sorry but I didn't know this Trust pilot page is for a very different area to the people that serves me in kent. I would therefore like to. Say that I live in Kent so therefore my comments were not any thing to do with the people who serve this area.I apologise for any distress my comments caused.

Withholding a report that their worker confirmed was sent regarding the landlord breaching health and safety. Won't answer emails anymore, and now the stairlift is very unstable and is an accident waiting to happen. Forwarded legal information I sent to them to the landlord!!! Yet the landlord accused them of lying! I am disabled and only accepted this property because the landlord assured me the stairlift was working and had been tested and serviced. However this was a lie as dolphin stated they was unable to gain access to carry out the repairs and service and informed the landlord to not let out the property until they had done the job. So I was left sleeping on a sofa for weeks unable to access the bedroom at all. Dolphin are withholding legal documents which confirms I was discriminated against.

We have had our lift since 2022. I had been in hospital and our local council arranged this about July that year. They came and w ere extremely professional. As we had had no experience of stair lifts, we had a few problems. when we rang they were very helpful. We do have a yearly service, as now my husband really needs it more than I do. They do a great service and we feel confident it will not let us down. It does seem to be a bit slow, that is my only concern, but apart from that it is our lifeline.

We ordered a stairlift on the 1st of August. The time quoted was 5-6 weeks from date of order and I asked if that could be expedited. We are still waiting. There was no communication from the company at all. I called today to chase and now have an installation date of the 1st of November. So that is 13 weeks. Do not use this company.

A brilliant family owned company with traditional values.
My 94 year old father has had a stairlift from another brand for the past few years and Dolphin have serviced it since it's been out of warranty. The other day it started playing up and became basiacally unuseable which "stranded" my dad upstairs. A call to Dolphin had me connected to the super-helpful Sian and then a callback from engineer Nick who explained the mechanism and I was able to troubleshoot it and get it working well enough to use.
Subsequently Steve, an engineer came out and although he didn't have the correct factory part (they support multiple brands of lifts), he fixed the problem and was really personable and efficient to boot.
I had a follow up call from Sian checking that everything was OK.
This kind of service is well worth paying for and that's the icing on the cake - their fees are reasonable and being a smaller, family run company, they listen to the customer and react with understanding and a level of compassion. I don't doubt that dad could've been confined to the upstairs for a few days if I was dealing with another company.
5 stars all round.

Absolutely awful. From initial Surveyors visit six weeks ago, there has been no information/brochures with best options, no written quotes, no communication. If this is best practice before the order has been confirmed, then it leaves little to the imagination about what to expect on fitting and after sales service. Tired of chasing Dolphin. Are they in administration?

I used a local company Dolphin Stairlifts in Crediton. After doing a lot of research. I would give 10 stars if i could, from the first enquiry telephone contact into the office number. Who were very helpful. From the demonstration in the showroom,
Then the installation of the stairlift, Neat Tidy politeness all throughout and good practical advice of what would work best on my stairs for my husband.
Arrived on the time stated, the installation was quick and neat, all packaging removed from my home. A great demonstration of how to use the lift. Loved the fact they left mob numbers incase anything went wrong or if i was unsure of the workings really gave me confidence of end to end service. I would highly recommend Dolphin stairlifts Crediton

From the first phone call to Claire, I knew I had picked the right company to provide a stair lift for my dad. Wonderful customer service, everything explained. Mark then came out to do the camera survey and fitting, treating my dad with the utmost respect - even popping into the hospital to double check his sitting down position measurements. He then explained everything to mum and was very friendly and professional. The equipment was fitted quickly and there has not been a single issue - they even replaced the removed bannister with one higher up to keep the double bannisters my parents are used to. The equipment fitted is Stannah - this despite Stannah themselves sending out a rep who told me in person that it couldn't be done. If anyone is thinking of getting a stair lift, ring Claire and you will not be disappointed - it will be the best phone call you ever made for your loved one.
