I received an email from dobell indicating that I could cancel the shipment because of the tariff prices. I immediately replied to cancel the order and yet the package was still shipped and I keep getting emails from UPS about delivery and owing additional money.

I originally ordered the wrong jacket
I originally ordered the wrong jacket. Contacted Dobell and received a prompt email response. They canceled my order immediately before shipment to allow me to order the sport coat I wanted. My Harris Tweed sport coat arrived quick, fits perfect and looks great. I love it.
FYI - I live in the US and the tariff added to the cost but that’s not on dobell. My tweed sport coat was still worth the additional cost to me.

The morning suit I bought is beautiful and is exactly as presented. They shipped it to California from England by 2-day express at no additional cost, and it arrived in perfect condition. The ONLY PROBLEM is the tariff issue: Dobell told me the tariff would be 16-32%, payable before delivery. Instead it was 64%, so my tariff on $480 was almost $300. So the US increased the tariff but I had no way of knowing that till it was too late.

Unfortunatly as detailed on our Import FAQ page products made in China carry a secondary duty fee on import into USA, with the 2 combined it can be up to 60% duty against formalwear plus the carrier clearance fee.
We are working on estimating this at checkout for our customers so they are aware of the max rate before placing the order.

Superb quality suit at a great price
Superb quality suit at a great price, looks amazing. Mind the disgraceful idea you charge £15 for 2-4 day home delivery yet it was free next day delivery to the shop 100m from my house and the driver parked opposite my front door.
