absolute nightmare
Their customer support sucks, My website went down and there was nothing that I could do to make it live until my 60 day waiting period was up.
dealing with them was an absolute nightmare. If there is anyway you can avoid dealing with these guys, then I would recomend it.

Good services by Carla (Great customer service mindset)
I use DNSimple for transferring my domain to my original hosting, as ClickFunnels can’t transfer directly, they said I need to go through DNSimple…
However, it took 60 days for transfer period, as a result, I stay using DNSimple, to wait for transformation of domain.
As a matter of fact, I did not need to use other DNSimple service at the moment…
So, I write to DNSimple and Carla help me to refund the unnecessary payment that I made, and also she took a step further by reminding me that what to do next.
This is a great attitude which let me feel that the thoughtfulness of the customer service mindset.
In summary, Carla did a great work… Keep it up… And thanks again…🌷
Brilliant company
Excellent service - particularly when I create a problem and they sort out my stupid mistakes.
Extremely easy to add a domain and connect to Google/Azure etc
Customer Support went above and beyond
I had a complicated issue (for me at least), that was urgent and needed to be resolved quickly.
I worked with Stephanie, she handled it wonderfully and spoke with another vendor on my behalf to get my domain issues resolved.
Very thankful!
Still happy after all these years
I've used DNSimple for all my domains, personal and business, for at least 10 years. I know there are now more options out there, but I've had zero reason to even think of looking elsewhere. Their name fits. On the rare occasions I've needed customer service, they've responded quickly and professionally and cheerfully.
Best DNS provider. Period.
I have used their platform for all my DNS needs for many years. It allows me to do everything I need while being very easy to use! I recently had to turn to their support for the first time. I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with how they handled my case - it was much smoother than it should have been, given my questions. I will recommend DNSimple to anyone!
I was not able to access my account
I was not able to access my account. All my company emails were not working due to DNS issue.
No customer care number to reach out.

Amazing DNS provider
Amazing DNS provider. Dns is way faster and reliable that competitors and thats the reason I moved to them. On top of that, best customer service ever. Actually, they added a function, based on a request I made to them. There is no other company that listen to their customer like they do. So I truly recommend them.
Just started out with them and was able…
Just started out with them and was able to sign up, register a domain and setup Google Workspace in just a few clicks. Their support team proactively reached out to provide assistance in the nicest way possible. Props to Anthony and Sebastian. The one-click services are pretty good. Happy so far.
Dnsimple support
I had a couple of questions regarding my dns records. Once I contacted dnsimple support, they responded fairly quickly and they were able to answer the two questions that I had. I'm happy with the reassurance they gave me regarding the questions.
I moved to DNSimple after DNS Made Easy hiked up their prices exponentially
I moved to DNSimple after DNS Made Easy hiked up their prices exponentially forcing me to look elsewhere. Before that, though, I had been using Cloudflare's registry and DNS management and found it to be too slow and buggy.
As a hobbyist outside of my day job as a senior systems administrator for an e-commerce company, I find the Professional plan a bit pricey ($30/month) for the purposes of URL redirection with HTTPS (for example, I could just take out a nginx VM with Digital Ocean for $5 and do it myself including automating Let's Encrypt, but that introduces yet another thing I need to manage in terms of patching, etc). Nominet domain pricing is double that of Cloudflare, so I now keep my domains at Namecheap.
However, pricing aside, I very much like DNSimple's approach and would very much recommend this to clients if the opportunity arose.
Best DNS Hosting Company by far
If you want no-nonsense DNS hosting, don't look anywhere else. You'll get simple and transparent pricing plans, a clean and intuitive web interface, a comprehensive API to automate your workflows, and excellent customer support by representatives that actually work for the company and understand the technology.
I've noticed that some users seem to be confused about why they would have to pay monthly service fees for a DNS product. For me it's actually the other way around—when a company offers free DNS hosting I wonder how they pay their networking and compute bills (hint: they either do the old bait and switch or sell you overpriced domains).
The team constantly updates the product with new features, but I trust them to not lose sight of their core competency: managing domain names and DNS records, which they do exceedingly well.
We are a customer of DNSimple since 2013 and have never been let down.
Shady practices... to keep you paying for nothing
1. Impossible to get any support.
2. They charge you yearly upfront with some random adjustments (of course those adjustments are into their favour.... what are these, why? no explanation provided whatsoever) and you won't be able to transfer domain out without paying upfront for the next year ($60/year for hosting DNS zone... really?!)
3. And you can't switch to monthly BEFORE they charge you for the full year upfront

Never regretted signing up long ago
I remember 6 years ago looking at the signup page: "what? why is there a monthly fee for a DNS provider?" I signed up anyway and have relentlessly recommended DNSimple to all my devops-friends since then.
Their product is clearly not for beginners, such as GoDaddy - which is good, because I skip all the marketing and bloated interfaces. But they also managed to hit the sweet spot in usability to make it way more comfortable than Route 53. The Team at DNSimple does one thing and they do it WELL.
Over the years I had to interact with their support team every now and then (concerning features, difficult configurations and technical questions, API usage) and I always had direct, helpful interaction with the most wonderful people.
It's a niche company, but in that niche, everybody (at least in the Ruby and Terraform world) knows them. I simply trust these people to take care of our domains.
I've loved and used Dnsimple since 2011…
I've loved and used Dnsimple since 2011 and they've been just great. I use them both personally and professionally, and they have really supported me over the years.
I use DNSimple for my personal domains…
I use DNSimple for my personal domains and it's very easy to use! Clean UI and the Terraform provider is simple and intuitive.

If you use Terraform and want a no hassle DNS provider that just works, go with DNSimple
I came to DNSimple due to wanting a solution that worked with Hashicorp's Terraform IaC tool. From day one the experience has been excellent, pricing is spot on, support has been amazing and the feature set being added iteratively to their Terraform provider is excellent. If you use Terraform and want a no hassle DNS provider that just works, go with DNSimple.

Solves a single problem really well
Solves a single problem really well. Happy with the service so far and their API is fantastic. I haven't really needed their customer support much yet, but they seem pretty responsive on the single email I sent them, which is promising.
Great DNS service; expensive for only HTTPS redirects
Great DNS service.
HTTPS Redirects require at least the Professional plan though.
