I recently passed my driving test, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. It wasn’t an easy journey my instructor was firm, clear, and held me to a high standard throughout the process. At the time, it felt challenging, but looking back, I now see how much that approach helped me grow into a confident and responsible driver.

A special thanks to my instructor, whose firmness was matched by genuine care and guidance. It was that balance that helped me succeed.

D&S delivers always, the process might be nerve recking with clear focus on achieving a flawless driving result. After several attempts with other driving instructors. It took only two days for Dennis to achieve the desired results.
I strongly recommend D&S drivers training for excellent results.

Dennis, A man with complete safe driving knowledge. It doesn't matter what you know, he'll teach you everything about safe driving and make you out of nervousness. Pages couldn't be enough to describe about him

Communication was good until you got the payment then didn’t hear from them I contacted them several times over a period of days but no replies

When I first called DNS Driving School just a few days before my test, they were so friendly, responsive, and positive that I genuinely wondered if it was too good to be true. I had already tried three different driving schools and still didn’t feel anywhere near confident enough to pass. From the very first call, DNS felt different.

Dennis was an exceptional instructor. He didn’t just teach the driving skills. He helped me change the way I approached driving altogether. He picked up on the anxiety and doubt I had carried from past experiences and worked with me to rebuild my confidence step by step. Each lesson felt focused, calm, and thoughtful, and I could feel real progress every time we went out on the road.

He explained things clearly and always made sure I understood why something mattered, not just how to do it. That made a huge difference. I’m now driving through Colchester’s tight roads and complicated roundabouts feeling completely in control and ready for whatever comes next.

A big thank you as well to Gemma, who kept everything smooth and stress-free behind the scenes. She was always kind, efficient, and helpful.

I’m so happy to have passed, but I’ll definitely miss those hours on the road. DNS gave me more than just a pass—they helped me enjoy driving again. I couldn’t recommend them more.

I used to be such an anxious driver because of bad experiences with other instructors, and I genuinely thought I’d never feel confident behind the wheel. But then I found D&S—and specifically, Dennis, who completely changed everything for me.

All thanks to Dennis. I had seen reviews about him, and let me tell you—none of them were lies. You truly have to experience his training first-hand to understand. It's tough, but it’s absolutely worth it. By the time I got to the test, it felt easy.

I've had other instructors before, but just one month with Dennis made all the difference—I got my license!

If you really want to learn how to drive and, more importantly, be a safe driver, Dennis is the one. He doesn’t just prepare you to pass a test—he gives his all to make sure you're confident, capable, and ready for the road. He’ll hold your hand every step of the way.

Dennis is a great instructor, I came to him with zero driving experience and he helped me to prepare for my test, which I eventually passed. I liked that I was taken out to real roads almost immediately (although these were quiet roads at first), and thus had an opportunity to practice. A great emphasis was also placed on safe driving both during the test and after, and all of the skills taught were very practical and useful. I didn’t have that many lessons at first, but a lot more were given to me as the test approached, so as to be ready for it. I can recommend D&S for someone looking for an instructor in Colchester, but do be aware that Dennis works on a tight schedule and you’ll need to work out the time that will work for both of you

I recommend using D and S they helped me get my driving license within a short matter of time. Dennis was an amazing instructor, he alwasy motivated me to keep going and was very good at explaining and teaching me how to be a safe driver.

Just passed my test with Dennis so happy and so greatful for his patience and time he spent teaching me to stay calm and stay in control

Dennis is super unique.. I had to take a crash course and nennn Dennis drilled me.. I was very difficult to teach being a long time left hand driver from another country.. U can't miss it with him...
