dLocal powers local payments in emerging markets, connecting global enterprise merchants with billions of consumers across Africa, Asia and Latin America. Through the “One dLocal” concept (one direct API, one platform, and one contract), international companies can accept payments, send pay-outs and settle funds globally without the need to manage separate pay-in and pay-out processors, set up numerous local entities, integrate multiple acquirers and payment methods in each market.

Worst payments company ever.
Worst service, they dont care about you at all.
They dont give you any reason or explanation.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with dLocal.
I spent over 6 months trying to onboard, responding to requests, adjusting my website, and waiting through long periods with no communication. Each time I followed their instructions and complied with every requirement they asked for.
After weeks of silence, I finally asked for an update — and received a generic message stating that after a “new analysis” they decided not to continue providing the service, without giving any concrete reason or explanation. They simply referenced a clause in their terms that allows them to refuse service.
This felt deeply disrespectful of my time and effort. If my business was never suitable, that should have been communicated early, not after months of back-and-forth and repeated requirements.
The lack of transparency, slow communication, and abrupt rejection make this service unreliable for small businesses. I would not recommend dLocal Go to anyone who values clear processes and professional communication.
Awful experience receiving payments from them in the Dominican Republic, no response, no support and a an awful overall experience
I never heard this company before until today. This company has been use by many fraudulent transactions. Today they took 5000 pesos + from my bank account. Beware!
Surprisingly they were able bypass the OTP and email text alert / security for approval for the transactions. That is cleaver! Beware!
I arranged a meeting with them and they rescheduled a meeting without asking me if the proposed time worked for me, and when I showed up there, they didn't show up on the meeting. Terrible.
made a payment for trading view, its been 3 days still no positive results, support is basically non existent, they just keep sending same message for 3 days we are working on it every time, for 3 days, very terrible platform.
I've spent a full week sitting on the online help just to change a spelling mistake so i can have my site verified. I get one person who asks me to confirm what I've already asked them to do, then disappears for days on end before the chat drops out and Im forced to start again. Not doing this a 3rd time round. Most disastrous business I've ever come across. DO NOT TOUCH
Worst payment service we ever hired. Awful client support and lots of hidden charges.
I made two payments on November 11, 2024, and November 14, 2024, through a payment method managed by Fintiba and TransferMate. However, after the payments, I received an email from TransferMate stating that my payment would be canceled due to an excess amount and that a refund would be processed. I provided the necessary account and personal details to TransferMate, who forwarded them to d-Local. TransferMate informed me that the refund process would take up to 15 business days.
However, more than a month has passed, and I have yet to receive my refund. Despite the 15 business days deadline already passing, and my continuous emails stressing the urgency of this matter, no resolution has been provided. I have only received vague responses stating that "the matter is under investigation."
Today, December 24, 2024, marks exactly one month since the payments were made, and this delay is completely unacceptable. This situation has caused significant time loss and has created serious financial and personal difficulties for me. Despite repeatedly explaining the urgency of the payment, there has been no progress.
As a result, my trust in your company has been completely shaken. The lack of professionalism is evident, and it is extremely frustrating. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the appropriate authorities and pursue legal actions.
I expect an immediate resolution and a prompt response regarding the status of my refund.
Son re ladrones mentirosos , no compren es una estafa , es página eatafa
They are stealing money in an unconventional style. Shopify allows them that too, please do not rely on dLocal, they don't understand Emerging Markets as they think. They are very expensive next to other payment processors in EM.
Horrific service and setup. You need to figure out everything on your own and you cannot help your customers as you have absolutely no control over the transactions + nobody from dlocal is there to speak to and provide any assistance. Losing money through them.
