My Encyclopedia of Very Important Things
We bought this book in a charity shop for our granddaughter as it looked very good at the time. However, when we were looking through it today with our granddaughter we were extremely disappointed that Christianity has been ignored on the "Festivals and Celebrations" pages, which highlight Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and the Chinese New Year and do not even mention Easter, the most important event in the Christian calendar. Only Christmas is mentioned in a section that randomly mentions things like Groundhog Day and other not very important things! In a book entitled "Very Important Things", why would DK not mention major events such as Easter?
