The company is not a good advisor in finding cost effective solutions for you so they are not looking out from your interests from that respect. They are looking to line their pockets (which is fair to an extent as they are a commercial entity) however quoting me £1,000 to fix a leaky concrete pond which I was able to resolve using a liquid sealant myself and some elbow grease at a total cost of £25 is astonishing. Disgusting levels of greed and reluctance to share useful information. They will exaggerate simple jobs and make the jobs bigger to extract every drop of money they can. Disgusting. Do not recommend this company whatsoever. Do your research people - use AI assistant software to ask questions. Don't just go running to companies like these for simple jobs that can be rectified by yourself. This company quoted close to £200 inc VAT to remove two boulders. I decided to advertise the boulders for free on Fbook marketplace and a gym goer was able to lift them out using his bare hands!

Called to get some pond pump advise and was lucky enough to speak to a gentleman by the name of Llyod. He took the time to understand my enquiry and gave some great advice. Thanks Lloyd. I will be using Dixson's again

The Pond guys from Dixons came out this month to renovate my small pond. A quick, efficient, professional and friendly service, well deserving 5 stars. It happened in three stages; 1. Zac came to empty the pond, trap the remaining wildflife (fish, frogs, watersnails, lilies and irises) and store them carefully in an aerated stock tank for while the work was done. 2. Lloyd came to render the pond foundations for the first and only time since the pond was originally built about 30 years ago, beautifully done. 3. The fiberglass team came in and quietly and efficiently laid a thin flexible fibreglass lining over the render. Oh, and 4. Zac came back to put the water and the wildlife back into the pond. The quotation was fair, accurate and transparent, the experience was painless for me and super-caring for my fish and plants. I wish I'd done it years ago.

PS I can't believe they have only two reviews on here. I'll suggest they encourage their clients to contribute!

Dixons have completed a wonderful transformation of our garden. Our new pond is fabulous, with a great waterfall feature. They planted trees and shrubs, laid a new path, and installed a new fence, shed and base. They’re not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and their team were friendly, hard working and really efficient. Would highly recommend this company.

Now how's this for a poor show? In Septeber 2016 I paid this company £1752 to plant out my pond and clear the algae. When the job was completed their rep came to inspect and even he had to describe the result as 'disappointing'. Whilst the plants were in place the algae was almost as dense as ever and since then it has been on ongoing struggle to keep it under control. As token compensation, in October 2016 Dixons promised me five water lilies. And where are they? We are now 21 months on and despite a last desperate reminder on 12th June 2018 and a further promise from Dixons there has been no sign of the lilies. Beware - this company makes promises that are not fulfilled and you'll pay handsonely for the privilege.
