I called this morning and spoke with Chanelle Norris and she emailed me the information I needed. After I reviewed it I called her back to let her know that I was ready. I left a voicemail with her and while writing an email to her she called me back. I selected the Plan that I wanted and she emailed me all the paperwork that I will be needing for my trip in October 2026.
I am Very, Very Happy for her Help

⭐ 0/5 – Total System Failure From Start to Finish | “Dive & Travel Plus” Is a Scam-Level Experience
I purchased a Dive & Travel Plus insurance policy for TWO people, expecting professional assistance, safety, and support in case of emergency. What I received instead was one of the most incompetent, costly, and disrespectful experiences I have ever had with any company — insurance or otherwise.
Emergency assistance that COSTS you hundreds of dollars
Let’s start with the most serious failure.
During a real medical emergency abroad, the company provides:
• No live chat
• No functional email support
• No alternative contact method
The ONLY option they give you is an international emergency phone number.
Calling that number — while dealing with a medical emergency — cost me around USD 300 in phone charges, which I now have to pay out of my own pocket.
No warning.
No transparency.
No reimbursement.
No responsibility.
An emergency number that financially punishes you for using it is not assistance — it is reckless negligence.
Claims process: chaos, contradictions, and lies
I reported the incident the same day it happened (15 November).
I sent key documents, including the dive invoice, on 17 November.
I submitted every single document they later requested, and I even received written confirmation from their own staff that the documents were correctly added to my case.
Despite this, they repeatedly stated that they “had not received the necessary documentation.”
This is not a misunderstanding.
This is either incompetence or deliberate obstruction.
Every reply:
• Contradicts previous confirmations
• Ignores timelines and attached emails
• Sends generic checklists without reviewing the actual file
• Mixes medical claims with dive refunds, creating confusion on purpose
Impossible communication
• Phone access from Europe is nearly impossible
• Call-back requests are ignored
• Direct questions are skipped
• Escalation requests are disregarded
When you actually need help, no one takes ownership of the case.
Cancellation & refund: completely ignored
After realizing how useless this insurance is in real life, I requested:
• Policy cancellation
• Refund for the unused period
Despite multiple written requests, they never provided:
• A department
• A contact
• A process
• A single clear answer
Total silence.
Final verdict
This company fails at everything an insurance company is supposed to do:
• Emergency assistance → FAIL
• Communication → FAIL
• Claims handling → FAIL
• Transparency → FAIL
• Respect for insured clients → FAIL
What you buy is not protection.
It is a bureaucratic trap that drains your time, your energy, and even your money when you are already in trouble.
I insured two people under a premium Dive & Travel Plus policy and ended up:
• Paying hundreds of dollars just to call for help
• Being buried in forms and contradictions
• Being ignored when asking for cancellation
• Being treated like a nuisance instead of a client
This is hands down the worst insurance experience I have ever had.
I regret buying this policy and will actively warn others to stay away.
If you are considering this insurance: don’t.
When things go wrong, they will make them worse.
P.s all the facts are documented and I’m actually thinking of going for legal ways - just beware!

I recently purchased a TRAVEL plus DIVING INSURANCE plan from Dive Assure for my Lembeh, Indonesia trip.
My flight was delayed and I missed my connection and was stranded in Singapore for 2 days.
Dive Assure refused to reimburse the claim amount citing ‘OPERATIONAL reasons not being covered’ under fine print.
They have lost a 5 yr old customer now.

It's really great to know there is a team that has our back when dive traveling. They are always there, same day to answer any questions. I would recommend Dive Assure to anyone at any diving level. In fact don't travel without it!
