We had been plagued with pigeons under our solar panels for a few years. They drove us crazy with their very early morning cooing in the summer (4-5 am) a neighbour recommended them. Great customer service from this company. Kept me informed every step of the way. Explained in detail how the work is done and different packages available. 2 very competant young men turned up bright and early on the day. They too explained what they were going to do. Showed me the poduct which carries a 10 year guarantee which gave me peace of mind. After a couple of hours the work was complete along with before and after photos. And we are now pest free. Yaaaayy!

We have been hounding by pigeons under the solar panels since moving in last year. After doing some research we came across Direct Solar Care. They kept us updated prior to the job and even on the day. They have done a great job and sent pictures before they left so you could see the outcome. Bonus is a 10 year guarantee.
I just felt bad they weren’t able to accept a drink due to the current pandemic. Very professional throughout.

Two guys turned up to perform the task of securing our solar panels from pigeon interference and residence underneath our solar panels. They were excellent and did the job so well and quickly. After years of being plagued by pigeons nesting under my solar panels and waking me up at stupid-o'clock, I decided to take action and get them protected (the panels that is, not the pigeons!)

In all honesty I chose Direct Solar Care because I couldn't find any other tradesmen to carry out this work so I was a little hesitant. However, I needn't have worried. The whole process from ordering to paying the invoice was very straightforward with good communication all throughout including sending me photographs of the installed meshing once it had been completed. The work looks to be very neat and professionally carried out. And I was charged exactly what I was quoted. I'm very happy with the overall result and can recommend this company.

Very good service. Very punctual, polite and easy to get hold of support team. The work was done quickly and carefully. Fist night without the noise of 20 pigeons under the panels.

Very good service start to finish with good communication throughout. Workmen were friendly and did an excellent job with the pigeon proofing.

From enquiry to installation of the Solar mesh guards, to todays installation we were very pleased with the professionalism of the Office and the installers today. Apart from mesh on all sides of our Solar Panels, we also had bird spikes installed along the ridges of our house and garage. It couldn't have been a colder day for the two young installers and thought they might ring to say it needed to be postponed because of the snow and icy conditions. But they turned up on time and got stuck in and we are very pleased with the result. They took 25 photograph's of before and after to make sure we were happy before we settled the bill. Would recommend them to anyone who is having bird problems on their roof, particularly under Solar Panels.

Arrived on time,
Told me what they would have to do and that they may not be able to remove some of the pigeon nests as they were caught up in the solar wiring, they removed what they could.
Placed mesh all around both sets of panels, nice and tidy job cleaned all gutters and repaired one tile with silicon which was cracked. Cleaned up after the job was completed, very satisfied with the work done, would recommend them.

I used this company to stop pigeons getting under my solar panels I have to say the safety of the poor employees was horrendous how this company can say that the health and safety of there employees was a priority is a lie...
The poor lads were working in horrendous weather conditions..
I actually felt sorry for them.
The price was extaushenat for 40 minutes work.

I left a review for this company previously as I felt let down by them.
Since then the company has called and brought forward an appointment.
The guys who attended to complete the work were excellent. The attended the day of the new appointment early and they were a delight. Polite, friendly and the standard of work was very high. The guys even fixed a faulty roof time which I wasnt aware off.
Although I was upset the first appointment was missed, the price, quality and guys who performed the work was 5 stars

Wait a month for an appointment. Then get a call on the day of the appointment saying they can't come. Now have to wait another MONTH to see if they turn up.

The pigeon ‘proofing’ mesh costing £499 was installed by Direct Solar Care on 1st of October 2020 and now 17days later, the infestation seems worse than ever before. There were approximately 30 pigeons prior to the installation and now there are more than 50 all huddled around the panels. The mess on top of the panels is horrendous, no doubt the gutter which I paid an additional £85 to have cleaned out, will be full of guano again and the noise at dawn is quite deafening. If I would have known that this could happen, I would not have wasted nearly £600 which I can ill afford to do.
I can’t express how upset and distressed I am, by all of this.

This firm has been nothing but excellent from the quote onwards.

I have to mention that one of the lads installing the pigeon proofing dropped his tin snips ( it was a damp day with fog and our roof was skiddy from pigeon poop). I wasn't about at the time, I was just at the shops. By the time I'd gotten home, they had called it in and started the process to discount the invoice, to allow me to find someone to come and replace the conservatory panel. And then did a temporary seal over the hole in the twinwall. They also, sealed/glued some chipped roof tiles they spotted before they started the main job. That appears to be part of the process: Look the roof over, point out defects before mounting the roof. Take photos, show the client. Explian what they are going to do and the order in which things will be done, and then just crack on.

Right throughout a lady in customer services ` Marissa' has stayed in touch, followed up, provided paperwork, updates and been patient with us from our end, as finding someone to replace a conservatory panel is actually quite difficult.

The actual install of the pigeon proofing looks great and has kept the pigeons out. Though word to the wise, they do hang around for a while, however as soon as the weather turned wet and windy they vanished. They still pop back to visit on a sunny day, but they can't nest anymore, or fill the gutters with you know what.

I'd recommend this firm to anyone. Absolutely first class.

I have been absolutely delighted with everything Direct Solar Care have done to stop pigeons getting access below the solar panels.
The job was trickier than most as they had to remedy previous efforts made by my husband to try & alleviate the problem!! I only wish I had known about them earlier!
They arrived exactly on time, did a fantastic job, then returned several weeks later to clean the panels.
I would definitely recommend this company ... Just don't try & do it yourself!

First class service and great team who visited today to complete the work. Really professional workers and carried out the job exactly as described. Scaffolding was used and again this was all put up and taken down with no issues in the one day.
I was a little sceptical about spending such an amount getting this work done however it was first class and well worth the investment.

We needed a company to help us protect our panels from the pigeons and I’m glad I went for this company. The team gave me a call that they will arrive 30mins later and arrived on time to carry the work. The job has been professionally and even helped cleared the rubbish and leftovers from my garden. I didn’t manage to get everyone’s name. But a shout to Lianne who done a fantastic job clearing the bird nest, carrying the job of protecting my panels and cleaning my solar panels at the end.

What’s more satisfied was that after the work, the team waited for like 30mins after the job just to wait for my approval on the job and the team has done it within 3hrs which was really good. I will recommend this company to anyone who needs solar panels protections.

We booked up this company to take pigeons from underneath our solar panels and to clean the panels this was in June booked for 15 July, we were given a time of around 2pm, my husband rang them at 2.15pm to find out where they were only to be told they couldn't do it today as they had trouble with another elsewhere, we could have had it done far earlier with another company but agreed to go with them because it had good reviews, what a surprise we have had, it would have been nice if they had ring us to let us know, don't trust their word at all, waiting a month is not courteous.

Fast and efficient service from pleasant operatives.

Prompt arrival. Excellent team (Alex and Leanne). They explain everything every step of the way. They added the pigeon protection meshing to the solar panels, cleaned the panels, removed debris, cleaned the gutters and added anti bacterial cleaner to the roof. I couldn’t ask for more.

It is the first time I have been able to give a company full marks. I would certainly consider them for future work on my roof and recommend them for the work they did today.
