Do NOT order from here this place is a scam telling you they will send it on one date then completely ignoring you and not replying saying they have production problems it has been over a week since it was meant to be despatched and still nothing I want to get a refund many others having same issue from what I’ve soon I hope this business shuts down forever so mad I’m making an account just to write this review

I ordered some glasses on here as they offered a next day service for £19.50 per pair. I was happy to pay this as I had a bit of an emergency. That was over a week ago. Various emails saying that they have had a malfunction so can't meet the deadline, but also unable to say when they will be able to. I've now requested a refund but still heard nothing. I've since read a lot of reviews saying the same thing. I could've ordered elsewhere on a 5 day service much cheaper and I'd have the glasses now. As it is I'm now still without glasses for another week at least. Terrible company I would not recommend at all. I've waited to post a review in the hope they would redeem themselves but sadly they haven't.

Broke my glasses so ordered a next day pair. Then got an email saying I had to measure between my pupils and pay another £30. Then another email saying they couldn’t do next day but would be quick but needed ANOTHER £10 for prisms. Then nothing. So chased a told a production problem at least another week. Simply go somewhere else. Internet is full of spec providers.

Scam! I paid for new glasses. I selected the next day service as it was urgent. I was sent an email saying the glasses would be dispatched but 4 days later I have heard nothing. The phone number does not connect, neither does the online chat. I have emailed but no answer. I can only assume this is a scam.
Switched to directsight from the main online brand (GD) after I had issues with the lens quality. I found that directsight has a very similar selection but is better priced (make sure to look for voucher codes!) and lacks some of the frills - no case, no cloth - but the glasses are good.
Unfortunately I had an issue with my pair and had to return them. The process was smooth, email replies were same day, and I had my replacement glasses on the 8th day after sending mine back. I'm impressed and will now recommend direct sight as a good value and quality online glasses retailer.
Paid for next day delivery, no tracking information, still no glasses nearly a week later. No communication.now I'm told they use Royal Mail who have not bothered to leave a card/leave with neighbours as per my usual delivery instructions. Refund refused. NOT RECOMMENDED- go elsewhere!
Very slow to get made up.
I gave my prescription with the order then had an email a few days later asking for it again so a delay.
When I finally got them back I can’t wear them as they don’t feel like my prescription. This is my 3rd attempt with direct sight and haven’t got on with their glasses but because they are so cheap I haven’t done anything. This will be my 3rd and last pair going into the bin.
Fantastic service again. I have had multiple sets of glasses glazed for myself and my father. Highly recommend.

Very quick turn around. One week from order to delivery. Cheaper(Ray-Ban) than most other places. Don't come with a case but don't care as I have a case from a previous pair I bought. Answered emails quickly.
All round happy saved money and quick delivery
Ordered two pairs, one cheap frame, one designer frame - both with same prescription. Took two days for the glasses to arrive. Lenses clean. No problems to report.
Very good, in spite of some negative reviews. Order placed and as promised delivered on time. Good work on the glasses, existing frames and new prescriptions just perfect. Yes had to fiddle with the fitting a little, but very good value considering how much they would of cost.
Ordered pretty basic prescription glasses on 5th July which were received on the 31st July. Upon contacting Customer services was offered a 30 % discount on next pair ordered which I can’t see me using as the wait from ordering to delivery was far too long . Disappointing experience.
I would advise anyone ordering Varifocal lenses to not bother I ordered mine with prescription waited Over 3 weeks when they arrived I could not read through them at all ?How can they be my prescription if I cannot read with them paid a lot of money am over 70 on state pension if I can't use them what good are they i sent them back they told me I cannot get a refund on VARIFOCAL lenses absolute disgrace. BEWARE!!! DON'T BUY VARIFOCAL LENSES.
Would not recommend this company at all.

I ordered from glasses direct as my glasses broke and i needed a quick replacement. I ordered next day delivery and after 2 days I still had no shipping email. I rung them up and was told that there was a production problem and that I’d receive a shipping confirmation that day. It has been about 4-5 days later and I still haven’t heard anything regarding my order. I decided to cancel which was put through quickly which is why I gave the extra star. Not happy with the service and lack of communication though.
I ordered 'next day' glasses (for 19 GBP) on Sunday evening. By Wednesday night I had followed up twice by email (and not received a reply to either message). I had also called twice and been cut off (after a long wait) both times. I have still not been able to get in touch with anyone regarding the status of my order. I consider this extremely poor and unreliable service.
