Asda at Rooley Lane Bradford.

Asda at Rooley Lane Bradford service at the checkouts is terrible. 3 weeks in a row on a Sunday there has been only two tills open with long queues waiting up to 30 minutes. They are too obsessed with scan & go. I'm considering going back to Tesco.

Good price for a Russell Hobbs…But damaged.

Good price for a Russell Hobbs microwave, unfortunately, it arrived damaged (with a large dent on the side). I returned it to my local ASDA store, and ordered another. I picked up a replacement a week later, unpacked it, and found another slight dent on the corner. As it was going into a cupboard and not visible, I accepted it. However, this raises the question: who are the people handling these goods? They must be very clumsy or just don't care.

Wasted time

Wasted time
Extremely disappointed with George.com. I waited two weeks for my order, only to be told it was damaged. This is the second time I’ve had the same issue. Customer service was unhelpful and argumentative, and the “next-day delivery” option is completely misleading. I’ve wasted time, money, and patience. I will not be ordering again unless they fix their delivery and customer support.

0 stars if I could


Ordered an air fryer for next day delivery as it was for a gift today.Received message today to say won’t be delivered and have refunded delivery charge. Said they would keep in touch. Air fryer no use now as have had to go and buy another gift. Phoned only to be told can’t cancel order and when it finally arrives I must either reject it or take it back to Asda. Nearest one miles away. I’m 80 years old and online is the way for me. Goodness knows how I’m supposed to return it. Never again!!!

Bought a daewoo 16l dehumidifier

Bought a daewoo 16l dehumidifier, first item they sent was broken behind the water tank, had it sent back, got a replacement sent and again broken in the same place but even worse that the first one. These idiots are on purpose sending broken items. I got pictures for proof.

Hiding reviews? Bad quality bedding.

Hiding reviews ? Bedding I purchased shows 13 reviews on Google (under 3 stars) but on Asda website there are none and won’t allow me to write one! Tried to post it in the questions which was denied twice. The bedding quality is absolutely terrible I’ve never received anything so bad and I won’t be using it. It is rough and see through. Will never be buying bedding from them again in future. For reference it is the black frill duvet set they currently have on sale. Do not buy.

Zero for customer service/inconvenience

Update

I did return products in the end but didn't receive payment for one item of clothing.

Guess they need the money more than I do...

3 Sept 25:

I opted for store return when some clothes were ginormous

I've been unable to get to the store and phoned to ask if I could change the return to home collection.

She said absolutely not I'd made my decision. She asked for my name I gave it to her she asked again. I asked her if she was listening. She said 'no'

There were no managers in and to phone back at 7pm at night.

Groceries didn't arrive and I've called twice in the past week for a refund but no one able to give me it

Ordered groceries to come the next day and paid extra for delivery. No sign of it arriving and site hadn't even got to the "preparing" stage so I called to cancel it and was told it they couldn't call the store it was suppose to come from but it would show as "cancelled" and a full refund would be in my account.

On the day after it was meant to arrive it had been marked as delivered. I called up again and was put on hold to be told they couldn't speak to the store it was supposed to come from so I should wait until the status changed to cancelled and call back. It's been almost a week and the status hasn't changed from "delivered".

There's only one contact method for them for a full refund on an order and it takes between 30 mins and an hour to speak to someone if the line doesn't go dead and I need to redial and I've already wasted almost 3 hours calling them. This should be a much simpler process!!

Online Shopping a Nightmare

I stopped using Asda for my online shopping when their service deteriorated to an unnacceptable level. Three times in a row there were 10 plus items missing from the order and countless substitutions. Some of the substitutes were nonsensical. Their customer services are a joke. Hours to get through and then the person on the phone has such a thick accent that you can't understand them and they can't understand you!

So Disappointing!!!

Ordered clothing items, paid for next day delivery as urgent and they didn`t arrive. They`re still `preparing the order` and it`s now due on 1st JANUARY according to tracking on their website, the problem is we`re in JUNE!!!

Never Again

Can't fault the service and value for…

Can't fault the service and value for money.

I placed an order for 6 items of clothing then the next day I ordered 4 items of clothing and honestly, it is just brilliant.

Both Asda and Yodel (their delivery partner) have massively improved the services they provide in the last year or so.

I used to be quite cynical after a few glitches and late deliveries, so I stopped ordering but I needed a few things urgently and within a certain budget before the May bank holiday. I took a gamble by making two seperate orders to 'test' the system!

It all went perfectly smoothly. Faith restored :) I got both of my orders with next day delivery by Yodel, no issues.

The quality of Asda George clothing has improved too! Great prices on clothing and foot wear :)

I had significant doubts ...

I had significant doubts about this service due to the numerous negative reviews. I placed an order for next-day delivery, but they did not deliver the product as promised. However, they refunded the shipping costs, and the product was delivered two days later. Overall, I think this outcome is acceptable.

Absolutely diabolical service...far too…

Absolutely diabolical service...far too much to write about..spoke to about 10 different people and endless calls,and still no one could sort anything out properly..in the end I have given up and asked for a refund,let's see despite what they say, Iif I actually recieve it..Will never buy from then again..the stress this has caused me!!!

My account blocked for no reason

My account has been blocked so I cannot even order now. Phoned and told no problem and someone would be in touch within 48 hours after looking into it. Weeks later its still blocked, never been in touch and when phoned again they still cannot explain it.
