Speedy delivery!
I ordered a watch for my fiancé but I was worried it wouldn’t reach me on time for Christmas (with all the current worldwide delivery delays going on). However, the watch arrive in only 4 days! Crazy fee charges by FedEx!
I bought an $81 Seiko snk809. I paid $42 for shipping (the only option provided, and I think the most expensive shipping fee I ever paid), and was supposed to pay another $103! in fees to FedEx for custom clearance and VAT. The VAT, which I am happily willing to pay my country, was $21. That makes the FedEx fees ($82) as much as 100% of the cost of my purchase! This simply did not make any sense to me so I contacted the seller - Diligence1International - and they were willing to pay half of the cost of FedEx fees and VAT, So at the end I paid "only" $51. Again, with the expensive shipping cost that's spending $93 to get an $81 watch.
This has been my worst shopping experience yet. Had I known it would become such a costly purchase, I would have simply ordered from Amazon, getting all tax & duties taken care of.
I can't understand why Diligence1International don't manage to send products with regular and sane costs (unless my case is unusual).

Hi Nathan apologies for not giving you the optimal buying experience and thats why we offered to pay half of these fees. Fedex PH side did their investigation and they said you could have formally disputed the charges with fedex israel which we know is very tedious in your part. Kindly note this does not happen often and tax and duties differ from country to country hence we need to be discussing these things before making the actual purchase. For the shipping part why do expensive we only ship internationally via fedex or ups international priority shipping hence the goods are fully insured, arrive the fastest, and safest way. It just so happened that the item you purchased was not ideal for such a service as other customers pay a similar amount even if they order our hero/lead models which is more ideal for such a shipping service then again we deeply regret what had happened and evaluate further to correct/improve the buyer experience on non-hero/lead models. Stay safe and healthy among other things.
